I'm retired from the Fire service in Louisiana and moved to the Gulf Shores / Orange beach area 5 years ago. I was confirmed in the church in April of 2012 and was formally a Baptist. I enjoy fishing ,boating and spending some time at the gym and of course the doing the beach. I have been divorced for 9 years and was cleared by the church to marry. Turned out that the church didn't recognize the marriage because my ex-wife had been married previously. Keeping in full communion with the church is important to me. Anyway thought I'd try this because my faith is important and I see things in a different light and to be on the same page in faith is key. Besides all of the best girls I've ever met (not to mention the prettiest ones) were Catholic girls.

Hello, I realize that it is unusual not to have photos attached to my profile, but my job prevents me from sharing them on the internet. If you could give me a little flexibility on that one thing, I don't think I will disappoint / offend anyone. I am an outdoor loving adventurer from some of the lower southern coastal plains, to the Eastern Appalachian Mountains, as well as the Northern Canadian Rockies. My happiness revolves around the natural beauty of God's creations. I have been one of those workaholics, which has to balance out life with a vacation exploration adventure. No, I do not go out camping for weeks at a time. I do still enjoy some modern conveniences of a good shower and good nights rest, etc. The rush of society can cause blindness to the beauty that surrounds us. Stop to smell the flowers and view the wildlife in its natural habitat. Not what's on the TV. To be grateful that God shares such experiences with us is just one of God's many blessings that he gives us. Thank you for stopping by and taking a peak at my profile.

I am not a game player and do not try to control others. Likewise, I will not be controlled by other people. I personally enjoy treating women with respect and desire nothing in return other than mutual respect. An excellent sense of humor cures many ills - - life is too short to not enjoy and appreciate the lighter things. Conversely, those things of value should be manifested to keep personal growth always moving forward. The beauty of a painted sunset and other wonders of God's paintbrush; a Beethoven Symphony, Quincy Lewis jazz selection, or beautiful strains accomplished by Andrea Bocelli. If age or distance between us is a potential problem, please pass me by. No profile and/or no picture? - - don't expect a response. I've lost my finger dexterity at the piano thanks to arthritis, but it still remains my favorite relaxation tool, both classical and more popular music of past decades. For sports, I love golf and its particular challenges, especially emotional. My education is in the Behavioral Sciences and I retired from the military after a career in excess of 31 years. Most of my military assignments were related to specific aircraft qualifications but the later years were spent in Command positions, combat in SouthEast Asia, and flying the B-52 aircraft.

I am an Officer and aviator in the US Army and fly MEDEVAC helicopters. I am passionate about God, Family, and Country. I enjoy sports, travel, the beach, and adventures. I am one day of six brothers from New Mexico, so I know how to share and I love Hatch Green Chili. I am a huge fan of Notre Dame football, but since I live in Alabama now, I have adopted the Crimson Tide as my 2nd favorite college football team. Go Irish and Roll Tide! My favorite person in the world is my 4 year old daughter, Kennedy. She is great and is into Princesses, Frozen, and Ponies. God really was looking out for me when he sent me Kennedy. I am becoming a member of Catholic Match because I believe a common religion is a huge part of a marriage and how you raise your children and I know if anyone can find the perfect match, God can!

The most influential people in my life have been my parents, brothers & and a couple special friends along the way. My mom modeled her Catholic faith unlike anybody else I've ever known. There have been a couple coaching friends (I coached college baseball for a few years) that influenced me greatly as well. The way the ran their programs and dealt with their players. I've had a reversion of sorts to my Catholic faith back in September/October 2010 when a special friend came into my life and modeled their faith in a very excited way that it flipped my switch to learn more about my faith. By listening to many Lighthouse Catholic Media CD's and then attending a Cursillo retreat, I've learned so much about the Catholic faith and thereby actually taken ownership of it. In my leisure time I enjoy working out and trying to stay in shape, playing golf (and trying to find my ball in the woods as a result, ;).... ), hunting/fishing, and even ball room dancing. I enjoy live music and dancing in general as well. Just in my blood. A little fyi.... For those women reading this who reject the teaching of the church on pre-marital sex, I urge you to join me in pursuing a pure and chaste dating life. And accept nothing less from the guy who pursues you! I've been committed to a pure and chaste lifestyle since November 2010 (when the fire was lit for my faith), and have never looked back. Yes, it's a battle and struggle at times, but it's so worth it. My mind so much clearer when getting to know a woman I meet for lunch or dinner, who I'm considering dating. When there's no sexual agenda, it's such a purer "get to know you session." I honestly believe us men who constantly pursue sexual favors from women when dating them have worn y'all down all these years, and thereby you've dropped your bar way down to our level. I bet every woman in the world, when younger, believe and hope the they'll be a virgin when they marry (and so will the man if they're very lucky). But at least they'll be one. And as they start dating, realize it's impossible to find man who cherishes their purity, and eventually give in. And thereby raising the chances for divorce later on should they get married. There's so much good material out there that sells the pure and chaste lifestyle. Jason & Christina Evert have tons of it. "I kissed dating goodbye" by Joshua Harris rocked my world. The best way to tame a man is by dating him in a pure and chaste manner. Aren't you worth it?

I was a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Mobile for 4 1/2 years and I got by bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas in philosophy and Catholic Studies. One of the best experiences during my time in seminary was the opportunity to study in Rome for a semester and the highlight was altar serving at St. Peter's for the Christmas Mass in 2015 for Pope Francis. I am currently applying to be a NET missionary so that I may be able to share my testimony to the youth of the USA.

I am a Navy veteran of three wars. I am divorced and just got a small business off the ground. Professionally, I am a pretty successful guy. Personally, I am a bit broken and work very hard to overcome it. My faith is very important to me. I am looking for a good woman not necessarily to fix me emotionally. I have to do that myself, but actually make me a priority in her life. Take a chance on me. You will not be disappointed.
