It turns out that writing about yourself is really hard! I'm a 30 year old PhD candidate in Physics who is planning on graduating in the summer and moving on to find my place in the world. Family is very important to me. While I live somewhat far from them now, I try to get down to see my family as much as I can. I can say for sure that there is no way I would be where I am now without all of my family members pushing and encouraging me. Though I haven't done much of it compared to a lot of people, I love to travel. I've never been out of the country, but I'd eventually like visit France, Germany, Italy, Japan, China, India, Sri Lanka...really all over. One thing that really interests me is the food and drink of other cultures and how they shape culture, so I'd especially love to find little local places on my travels to have a real taste of where I am. Speaking of food, I really like to cook. Usually when I cook dinner, I'm a "throw some things in a pan and see what comes out" kind of person, but when cooking something new I'm all about sticking to the recipe. What I really love spending my time in the kitchen on is baking. I don't know what it is, but I'm never more happy in the kitchen than when I'm baking up a cheesecake or wearing the motor out on my mixer making homemade marshmallows. It probably doesn't hurt that I get to eat the fruits of my labor! Alright, nerd alert time! In my spare time, when I'm not cooking, I love to play games and do puzzles. Card games, board games, video games, sports, jigsaw puzzles, logic puzzles, crosswords; you name it, I'm there! Two of my best memories as a kid are sitting around the kitchen table playing Canasta with my brothers and sister and working on puzzle sheets that my mom would hand make at work during the summers. Recently I've really gotten into outdoor activities. Hiking and swimming have quickly become favorite activities, and just earlier this year I completed my first 10k.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about me. If we met, you would see that I am an extremely positive and likeable person. The glass is always half full and I choose to be happy. I try to look at the bright side of every situation. Making people smile is easy for me. I am a true believer in GREAT COMMUNICATION, a key to most successful relationships. You have to trust someone so can be comfortable enough to tell them everything. Keeping things bottled up inside or holding things back just leads to stress and unhappiness. You may not always agree with your partner, but at least you know where they stand and what they like or dislike. Another thing I also believe is that your lover should be your best friend. Wouldn't you want to hang out with your best friend every day?? In addition, I am a kid at heart and can have a great time doing anything. It is important to keep life fun and exciting and not fall into a boring monotonous routine everyday. It is important to have balance in your live and enjoying life is essential. It doesn't have to be an expensive trip to Vegas to have fun (although this works!!!) Even the smallest things can provide excitement and adventure to your life. So live a little!! Also, I enjoy exercising and working out and I hope my partner does to. I am a traditional guy who believes chivalry is NOT Dead! I was raised by wonderful, happily-married, parents who taught me to have good values and high morals. I know how people want to be treated and I would like to be treated the same. Most people think I am a pretty funny person and I enjoy making people smile. Finally, if youre wondering why I havent been married, I just haven't found the right person yet. I plan on getting married only once, so I hope to choose the right person the first time! Anyway, if you think we might connect, feel free to write me back and let the adventure begin! :-)

I am passionate about education, both my own and others'. I believe that a day in which you don't learn at least one thing is a day without adventure. I spent four years in the Marine Corps. The experiences that I had in that time have played a large part in making me who I am today. I enjoy reading, dancing, relaxing with friends.

Live life to the fullest is my midi. I mean, probably the only way to experience life is to live it to the fullest, hence my motto. Anyway, what else can I say, oh, I live life to its fullest and so if that's how you feel about it then let's roll.

Music. Classical guitar. Recording studios. Performance in church and coffee houses. Science. Astronomy. Oceanography. Whale watching. Flying. Musicians, Professors, and family and friends have exercised the most influence in my life. Attending college, my national service, and my career in aviation have been the most rewarding experiences.

I love the outdoors, including hiking, swimming, tennis, walking on nature trails, skydiving (only done it once, but would totally recommend it!), etc. In my free time, I try to at least do something outside, even if it's just listening to music on the patio. I love live music, whether it's a local band or a big-name concert. I currently manage a pizza restaurant, which keeps me pretty busy. On the plus side, I get pizza any time I want :)

Life is full of surprises , too short to be focused on smaller things, just go on with the flow and explore wherever it takes you. I firmly believe in these sentences. I always believe faith, Helping those in need and duty of one's existence are the main essence of leading a religious life. I consider my parents one of my biggest strength's. As I am nobody in this world without them. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and cooking in my leisure time.

I'm an aerospace engineering graduate student, originally from metro Atlanta, at Auburn University, specializing in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). I enjoy reading about and engaging in science and engineering research, industry, and outreach. I also have a love of history (particularly imperial Chinese history and poetry) and am always willing to travel to near and far locales. When I'm at home and have the time, I also enjoy trying my hand at new, exciting, and sometimes very complex recipes as well as occasionally baking my own bread.

I am most passionate about music. I play saxophone and bassoon and enjoy creating music solo and in ensemble with others. I am also passionate about my faith. I am not loud about it, but I think about God a lot and remind myself several times a day of His unfailing love for me and that I should try to reflect that upon others that I come into contact with. Boy Scouts, band, confirmation, and some teachers in high school have been some of the most influential experiences and people in my life, in addition to my parents and brother. Boy Scouts and Church together have molded me into the person I am today, and whatever virtues I may exhibit are testament to the effects of scouting and practicing my faith in the Church. In preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation, I became more independent in my faith; or more self-motivated to practice my faith. I came to realize that it is up to me to practice what I believe and to believe what I believe. No one else is going to give me the conviction to go to Mass and pray and ask for God's forgiveness and show love to others. In my leisure time, I enjoy working out with my brother, listening to music (movie soundtracks and concert/symphony music), playing tennis, soccer, swimming, horseback riding, running, cycling, and I still enjoy going camping and hiking. I also watch TV if I have access to it. I am a BIG Star Wars fan; I am also really into anything Navy, as I dream to be a Navy fighter pilot; and I like Pokemon and Game of Thrones and the Netflix show, The Crown. I also enjoy learning about ancient History.

I believe in truly living and appreciating life, in it's many facets, is very important. I like nature and activities that revolve around it. I also enjoy good local coffee shops, traveling, learning about other cultures and generally trying new things. I'm a pretty easy going guy, but I am a bit ambitious in my professional life.

I am going to start doing some cool things. I am going to start doing some cool things. I am going to get back into shape and play softball in a church league with that one guy that takes it way too seriously.
