I have a great career and can honestly say it doesn't feel like work. I enjoy going to work and usually wind up working a lot of hours. I've thrown myself into my career for the last seven years and thinking it's about time to find someone to share the ride with. When I'm not at work I like to hang out with a few good friends, if they're not working. I like to grill out, maybe get a few drinks, watch NASCAR and college football, Major League Baseball, go 4-wheeler riding, trying to find parts for my motorcycle project, restoring my pickup truck, fixing up my house and other manly things like that. I enjoy all kinds of music. Alt. country or red dirt country, classic rock, blues, some rock. Anything that I think sounds good. My iPod has quite a variety on it. Anything else, just ask.

Hello. I just wanted to check this out and see if I have connection with Catholic singles out there. If you are interested, maybe I am too. A little about me: I'm traditional and old-fashioned. I'm not sure if that makes me an old soul or not, but I like to think I'm a good person with manners and morals (I'm certainly not perfect). Like just about everyone, I think there needs to be a mutual physical attraction and chemistry. Time can improve both, I think, but without either in the end, I just don't think it works for me. I've traveled a bit for work in the continental, so I don't have a travel bug bite. I've been content to stay close to home and spending a lot of time with my family (who are here) and seeing them grow old over the years. Though I might like to change some things from my past, I can't say that I have any regrets, and I think it is because of my family-centered nature. Maybe I can have that one day too, but if not, I'm good with it. I'm ambitious, but content. I'm a dreamer but feel blessed to have the job that I do. I can do without material things and don't believe they are important, but I do enjoy nice things. I grew up playing organized soccer and various other sports, so I consider myself athletic and coordinated, but I have to admit I'm out of shape (though I'm working on it). I'm not 300 pounds, but I'm just not where I would like to be health wise. I also like to play musical instruments for my own amazement (can't claim that quote. Saw that it on a sign - perfect description for me). I can also say that I have a sarcastic wit, sometimes to a fault, though I tend to hold back and feel out new friends before I open it up. I'm addicted to other people's smiles and laughter, I have to say. Obligatory Catholic interjection here: Joking aside, I am completely committed to my Catholic faith; I feel like it is a definite positive when I share that aspect with someone else. Kinda like a club, especially in the southern U.S. where it's only about 3% Catholic where I live. Secret handshake here. To wrap this package up: If you are looking for someone making 6 figures that wants to be a CEO of a Fortune 500, I'm afraid that's not me. If you are looking for someone that places importance on family, abides by "pray together, stay together" mantra, and is proud to be Catholic, maybe we might hit it off. It's not ideal, but if I find the right person, I'm willing to try long distance. Also, is it one space or two spaces after a period?

I am looking for someone with whom to connect.. I find writing about myself difficult. I think getting to know me would be more successful via conversation and meetings. I enjoy local travel to see, enjoy and learn. Current interest is learning to ride my horse and trail riding. I am a good guy looking for a good girl.

I enjoy any type of activity that engages my mind. I don't consider myself a bookworm, but I'm trying to read more; mostly nonfiction. I enjoy any type of outdoor activity. When the weather's nice, I enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, biking & ultra races. I recently went skydiving for my 32nd birthday. Although I don't have a pet now, I'm an animal lover. I volunteer every Sunday with the high school youth at my church. I love working with kids of all ages & feel like I learn more from them than they do for me! I'm open to most types of music. Basically, anything that inspires or elicits emotion. I see my Catholic faith as a daily journey toward Heaven. I believe that Jesus left us the perfect Church & the tools that we need to obtain holiness. That's my goal. To get to Heaven & bring as many people with me. Ultimately, this will mean leading my wife & children to Heaven, but for now, it's striving for sainthood by attending daily mass, the "hospital for sinners". Although I long to be in a committed relationship, my goal is to find completeness in Christ and total dependency on him.

I am most passionate about being a father to my eight year old son. I coach youth hockey, youth soccer and am also a Cub Scout Den Leader so I am always on the go. I have been employed as a financial advisor with the same firm for 17 years but my job does not define who I am. Rather, my love for family, my service to others and my faith in Christ offers my best reflection . In my down time, I enjoy kayaking, camping, pets, fitness, taking care of the yard and just goofing around. I strive to begin and end each day with a gentle heart, a loving spirit and a balanced countenance.

I guess the thing I spend the most time dealing with is a computer. If I'm not writing code for work I'm writing something in my spare time cause I think it'd be neat. "Always learn" is my approach to this and most things in life and I've learned a lot via computers growing up. When I'm not coding I'm watching sports (Roll Tide), playing games, or hanging out with family/friends. I really like trying new things whether it's a new place to eat or taking a class or some other new activity. I'm pretty easy going and I'll try most anything once, but I have to admit I'm pretty terrible of coming up with ideas on what new thing to do. Usually it's kinda random. Like that one time I thought it'd be neat to learn how to build furniture. I'm pretty short comparatively speaking at 5'3", but all my life that's something other people have been bothered about or noticed more than I ever have. So if it's not a big deal to you it's not a big deal to me! Wear all the heels you like.

Hello, thanks for stopping by. I'm an introvert that is a people person and so pretty good at faking being a extrovert... I don't know how that works. I'm passionate about my convert faith and learning more about it. My Family. Music and movies of all kinds. Creative Writing and coming up with plots and stories. Asking the stupid questions that turn out not to be so stupid. I'm also an avid people person/pleaser and like to make people around me feel comfortable, usually through a wisecrack ice-breaker and humor. I also think too much and am a bit random... there are logical connections with what comes out of my mouth they're just not readily apparent sometimes to those not living in my head. I'm also enthusiastic about anything or anyone that can show me a new way of looking at things. The people that have most effected my life would have to be my parents, a whole slew of Priests, Sisters, and Brothers, and honestly several people I've met in the Average Joe work force. In my off time I enjoy reading, writing, going for walks (rain can be a plus), and watching movies (good and terrible ones for differing entertainment needs).

I am a pretty simple man. I like to watch movies, go out to eat and a good red wine. It would be great to find someone to share things with. Hope to retire in three years but may work longer.
