30, Birmingham, ALI love to make people smile and laugh. I love learning about, talking about and most importantly loving God, His Church, and His people. I have recently had sort of a spiritual awakening and it really turned my life on its head. The last few months, with God's grace, I've been making huge improvements in my life and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I love working outside. Thank God for the spring and summer. I love radio. I enjoy doing voice work. I love my job because I'm on a great team doing amazing work. I am a kind, loyal, intelligent, big-hearted [and obviously humble ;)] man who is quick to smile and always looking for a chance to make people laugh. I like to sing and dance. I enjoy both far more than I am good at them! I will definitely rock any mic at karaoke and cut a rug if swing is involved, though. So get to know me. I don't bite.
55, Foley, ALI'm retired from the Fire service in Louisiana and moved to the Gulf Shores / Orange beach area 5 years ago. I was confirmed in the church in April of 2012 and was formally a Baptist. I enjoy fishing ,boating and spending some time at the gym and of course the doing the beach. I have been divorced for 9 years and was cleared by the church to marry. Turned out that the church didn't recognize the marriage because my ex-wife had been married previously. Keeping in full communion with the church is important to me. Anyway thought I'd try this because my faith is important and I see things in a different light and to be on the same page in faith is key. Besides all of the best girls I've ever met (not to mention the prettiest ones) were Catholic girls.
33, Mobile, ALYou've not met anyone like me before. Unless, of course, you've met me before. In which case, why haven't I met you? Should I be concerned? I think you owe me an explanation. Sure, I could bore you with delusions of how wonderful I am, but lets face it, I'm sure you've already read that sort of thing in all the other profiles and if that's the kind of guy you want you can message them, instead. Personally, I believe that actions speak louder than words, and you can decide for yourself what type of man you think I am. My hobbies include mountain climbing, treasure hunting in exotic locations, testing experimental aircraft, international espionage and intrigue, wrestling bears (since age 3), winning the lottery, and lying to women about my hobbies to get dates. I surround myself with optimistic people who are going somewhere in life, or at least going a little bit crazy. I'm very open-minded with an international outlook, a risk- taker who is always up for a new adventure. I love animals, movies, meaningful conversations, and self improvement. I keep very busy and I love my life. I don't have the time or inclination to date everyone under the sun anymore, and I have no problem meeting people. I'm extremely selective, and I'll be just fine if I don't meet anyone on here... BUT, if you're someone really really really special, I'd love to have you along for the ride and make our already great lives that much better. I can tell there's something very special about you. You are curious about the world around you. You can take a joke and are not easily offended. You believe that humor is the spice of life. You can spell (without using spell check), and are generally happy. You want to see the world and travel. You love to kiss. You like to relax and have fun with friends, but you're not intimidated by the deep, penetrating questions life sometimes puts in our lap. Your eyes are bright and convey the depth of your spirit. You are beautiful inside and out, and you think you can actually keep up with me. Also, you're not a blood relative, and that's always a plus! In short, you seem like someone I'd really like to meet, but since you found me before I found you, you've got to make the first move. Sorry, but that's just the way it is. I suppose you could always wait for me to find you, but I like to keep busy, and it could take awhile. Also, you take the risk that I'll meet someone else by mistake!
31, Birmingham, ALFaith has always been important to me. I went to Catholic school, and loved attending mass throughout college and professional school. Being a healthcare provider has shaped my outlook on life and molded me into a more caring person. I enjoy outdoor activities and sports especially the Atlanta Braves, New Orleans Saints, and college football and baseball.
54, Birmingham, ALHi there, do you know who Ray Barone is (Everybody Loves Raymond)? Well, I am not him, but it is the best way to introduce my name- MARON. I am unique in many ways and think that my assets overwhelm as an, "'Is he for real' moment" if a survey was taken of me, 9.5 out of 10 who know me would describe me as funny and serious, intense and laid-back, shy and extroverted, cute and handsome. Very hard to pin down! Definitively though, I am passionate, compassionate, loving, happy, tender, giving, thoughtful, a tactile more than visual. If you can handle a man with mind of an American and the heart of a Lebanese, you should give me a shout out. If you want a man whose glass is 3/4 full, then you should give me a shout out. If you want a man who puts as much energy in his downtime as he does in his office, then you should give me a shout out. Transparency, trust, respect and loving yourself first are foundations that come from faith. I also believe that environment plays a role too. My parents celebrate their 59th anniversary this year and when I am home, I see the unspoken love they still have for each other. While I will never reach their longevity, I long to grow older with the quality of their marriage. Relaxing takes many forms for me. Whether it is relaxing in the mountains or home before a fire, on the beach, cooking together with movie night, grilling, tail-gating and football, entertaining friends, dancing til my heart races, sitting with a glass of wine working on a jigsaw puzzle together, giving foot and back rubs while reading together, I am all in.
51, Montgomery, ALThe most influential people in my life have been my parents, brothers & and a couple special friends along the way. My mom modeled her Catholic faith unlike anybody else I've ever known. There have been a couple coaching friends (I coached college baseball for a few years) that influenced me greatly as well. The way the ran their programs and dealt with their players. I've had a reversion of sorts to my Catholic faith back in September/October 2010 when a special friend came into my life and modeled their faith in a very excited way that it flipped my switch to learn more about my faith. By listening to many Lighthouse Catholic Media CD's and then attending a Cursillo retreat, I've learned so much about the Catholic faith and thereby actually taken ownership of it. In my leisure time I enjoy working out and trying to stay in shape, playing golf (and trying to find my ball in the woods as a result, ;).... ), hunting/fishing, and even ball room dancing. I enjoy live music and dancing in general as well. Just in my blood. A little fyi.... For those women reading this who reject the teaching of the church on pre-marital sex, I urge you to join me in pursuing a pure and chaste dating life. And accept nothing less from the guy who pursues you! I've been committed to a pure and chaste lifestyle since November 2010 (when the fire was lit for my faith), and have never looked back. Yes, it's a battle and struggle at times, but it's so worth it. My mind so much clearer when getting to know a woman I meet for lunch or dinner, who I'm considering dating. When there's no sexual agenda, it's such a purer "get to know you session." I honestly believe us men who constantly pursue sexual favors from women when dating them have worn y'all down all these years, and thereby you've dropped your bar way down to our level. I bet every woman in the world, when younger, believe and hope the they'll be a virgin when they marry (and so will the man if they're very lucky). But at least they'll be one. And as they start dating, realize it's impossible to find man who cherishes their purity, and eventually give in. And thereby raising the chances for divorce later on should they get married. There's so much good material out there that sells the pure and chaste lifestyle. Jason & Christina Evert have tons of it. "I kissed dating goodbye" by Joshua Harris rocked my world. The best way to tame a man is by dating him in a pure and chaste manner. Aren't you worth it?
46, Florence, ALI enjoy music, cooking, biking, outdoor activities, and my children. I have 2 daughters, a teenager and a preteen. They are very special people and unique in their own ways. Please ask questions to learn more about me.
46, Ardmore, ALI have a home that was away from the glow of cities and towns. Over time, the cities and towns have been creeping out toward me...or at least the glow of the lights has. I can still see more of the sky at my house than I can at most places in the local area. The deer still roam my yard at dusk into the evening and return in the morning. Just wish the hawks would do something about all the squirrels. My hobbies and past time activities are eclectic: bowling, ice hockey, golf, collecting - some I started as a child. I also fly airplanes. I have had my license for about five years, I am working on completing an instrument rating. By trade I am an engineer. I work on the parts of rocket engines that make smoke and fire.
27, Decatur, ALHello, thanks for stopping by. I'm an introvert that is a people person and so pretty good at faking being a extrovert... I don't know how that works. I'm passionate about my convert faith and learning more about it. My Family. Music and movies of all kinds. Creative Writing and coming up with plots and stories. Asking the stupid questions that turn out not to be so stupid. I'm also an avid people person/pleaser and like to make people around me feel comfortable, usually through a wisecrack ice-breaker and humor. I also think too much and am a bit random... there are logical connections with what comes out of my mouth they're just not readily apparent sometimes to those not living in my head. I'm also enthusiastic about anything or anyone that can show me a new way of looking at things. The people that have most effected my life would have to be my parents, a whole slew of Priests, Sisters, and Brothers, and honestly several people I've met in the Average Joe work force. In my off time I enjoy reading, writing, going for walks (rain can be a plus), and watching movies (good and terrible ones for differing entertainment needs).
