34, Huntsville, ALHello! My name is Brian. I live in Huntsville, Alabama. I am an Athens State graduate with a B.S. ED. in Elementary Education. I'm teaching at a local Catholic school. Life is busy, but also it's good. My faith is important to me. It has gotten me through tough times. I find the more I trust in Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to act the more my love for him grows and the more my mind is at peace and my heart at rest. I learn that while I suffer I am able to count the blessings in my life. It is my hope to offer all my work, joy, pain, sorrow, and prayers to the Lord and Author of Life who transforms lives, forgives, and shows mercy. I actively service my parish in several ministries, such as, religious education (I teach juniors in high school), youth ministry (middle and high school), lectoring, and as an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. I enjoy the outdoors, playing sports, and reading spiritual books.
45, Madison, ALI am passionate about my faith and I am passionate about my family. I am very blessed to have very supportive friends and I do my best to be good to them and those around me. Like most people I am usually running around with work and family commitments, but I always make time for my faith and my folks.
40, Semmes, ALI have grown up on the Gulf Coast, and attended a Catholic High School and Jesuit College in Mobile, Alabama. I live in a home in Semmes, Alabama (a country suburb of Mobile-close to work). I am a genuine, truthful, and purposeful young professional. I have an open mind to different experiences. I enjoy one-on-one conversation. I spent much of my teens and twenties in school for my career, and have been engaged once without success. I am also sensitive to the needs of others.
50, Madison, ALI blessed the rains down in Africa on a safari, hunted with the lions, strolled with majestic giraffe, rumbled with the rhinos, wildebeest, and hippos..."Dined" in a herd of 50 hungry elephants, sprinted with the leopards and hung out with the monkeys...And I got away with the video!...Played at Sun City and went on a hunt with a pride of lions and watched them devour their kill--the hyenas waiting on the sideline. I'm grateful for past adventures and excited for the new ones ahead in life! Some include more travel, weekend get a ways, a concert, hiking, camping...I just moved-in to my home and love the new place. Guess it's time to throw a house warming social. ;) I am passionate about life and faith and about helping the needy regularly with more than food-with hope also. I believe in giving back and areas where I've helped are in pro-life and evangelization and with his grace I'm grateful for having been able to contribute to the lives of others. I have traveled abroad and seen many a great sunset and my heart is truly grateful for that gift. I want to stay close to God and the Church. My parents are happily married over 40 years. Recently I sat next to a couple at Mass and noticed they held hands the whole time and have been married 30 years.Their care for each other and closeness is inspiring. I am seeking my special someone and we will see if she is here. If you want to discover more about me send a message and just ask.
54, Foley, ALI'm retired from the Fire service in Louisiana and moved to the Gulf Shores / Orange beach area 5 years ago. I was confirmed in the church in April of 2012 and was formally a Baptist. I enjoy fishing ,boating and spending some time at the gym and of course the doing the beach. I have been divorced for 9 years and was cleared by the church to marry. Turned out that the church didn't recognize the marriage because my ex-wife had been married previously. Keeping in full communion with the church is important to me. Anyway thought I'd try this because my faith is important and I see things in a different light and to be on the same page in faith is key. Besides all of the best girls I've ever met (not to mention the prettiest ones) were Catholic girls.
47, Montevallo, ALI love Christ, family and martial arts. Much of my life can be summed up in this statement. I am a convert to the Church, and accept the teachings--though, I do have issues with some. I am becoming a great admirer of Thomas Merton and C S Lewis.(and, yes, I am aware CS Lewis isn't/wasn't Catholic):)
59, Mobile, ALI am the Father of three wonderful children. They live in Nashville, Virginia Beach, and Newport Rhode Island. I like to visit them as often as I can. I love my dogs and my hummingbirds and cardinals. The beach is my destination about four times a year. I am not looking for perfection as surely I am not! I Love going out to movies, dinner, and live concerts. I love my Church!
44, Montgomery, ALMy introduction is I am an Air Force brat. I am kind and giving person.I love college football and history. Enjoy traveling different parts of the world exploring the different subjects I learned in school and college. Therefore, I am a shy person, and enjoying cooking different foods. Love to learn about different people and cultures. Looking forward to meet someone is kind and a beautiful smile.
21, Birmingham, ALMy name is Jonathan, but you may call me Ishmael. The creation of beauty, the pursuit of beauty, the apprehension and comprehension of beauty---these are the things that are most important to me. I consider myself bound by Love of God to seek out beauty wherever I can find it, which means that I try (and do not always succeed) to love everyone and value everyone. I am currently a student at the University of Alabama, where I am pleased to be. I am majoring in English with a concentration in Linguistics. I get asked a lot what linguists do. Probably the best way to explain is to say that we are "language scientists." Linguists are interested in explaining the cognitive/psychological basis for human language production. If i said any more, i'd probably go full nerd and bore you to death. I am fascinated with the operations of the human mind and with language in particular. I am fluent in French, and can pass for a native if need be. Bilingual children are awesome. I seek a life-companion who is not objectionable to looking for God in unusual places, someone who who would be willing to raise as many children of beauty as necessary. I love to write and to burst into song at random intervals. I often mildly annoy my family by spontaneously reciting passages from Moby Dick or bursting into "La vie en Rose" I am looking for someone who loves God through His creation, who would like to have children, and who would join me in playing on the piano, or who would harmonize with me in song, or who explored dark caverns by my side, or who bandied deep philosophical speculations with me, or who would love the grossest slug as much as the prettiest flower and would help me write a poem about it. Physical appearance matters not one whit to me. The heart and the mind and the soul are the most important. And everyone is beautiful in their own way, whether or no they conform to standards of beauty.
27, Decatur, ALHello, thanks for stopping by. I'm an introvert that is a people person and so pretty good at faking being a extrovert... I don't know how that works. I'm passionate about my convert faith and learning more about it. My Family. Music and movies of all kinds. Creative Writing and coming up with plots and stories. Asking the stupid questions that turn out not to be so stupid. I'm also an avid people person/pleaser and like to make people around me feel comfortable, usually through a wisecrack ice-breaker and humor. I also think too much and am a bit random... there are logical connections with what comes out of my mouth they're just not readily apparent sometimes to those not living in my head. I'm also enthusiastic about anything or anyone that can show me a new way of looking at things. The people that have most effected my life would have to be my parents, a whole slew of Priests, Sisters, and Brothers, and honestly several people I've met in the Average Joe work force. In my off time I enjoy reading, writing, going for walks (rain can be a plus), and watching movies (good and terrible ones for differing entertainment needs).
27, Pelham, ALIm Sam. I graduated from Auburn University in 2011. I work full time. I enjoy hanging out with friends and traveling. I am a hard worker, but like to relax also. I'd say I'm outgoing, responsible, determined, laid back and a people person.
45, Montgomery, ALI am a laid back guy who takes life for what it is. Being a bar manager I have met people from all walks of life. I am a member of the Knights of Peter Claver. I also like to play golf , cook , fish and like a good movie from time to time.
