34, Huntsville, ALI enjoy any type of activity that engages my mind. I don't consider myself a bookworm, but I'm trying to read more; mostly nonfiction. I enjoy any type of outdoor activity. When the weather's nice, I enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, biking & ultra races. I recently went skydiving for my 32nd birthday. Although I don't have a pet now, I'm an animal lover. I volunteer every Sunday with the high school youth at my church. I love working with kids of all ages & feel like I learn more from them than they do for me! I'm open to most types of music. Basically, anything that inspires or elicits emotion. I see my Catholic faith as a daily journey toward Heaven. I believe that Jesus left us the perfect Church & the tools that we need to obtain holiness. That's my goal. To get to Heaven & bring as many people with me. Ultimately, this will mean leading my wife & children to Heaven, but for now, it's striving for sainthood by attending daily mass, the "hospital for sinners". Although I long to be in a committed relationship, my goal is to find completeness in Christ and total dependency on him.

29, Opelika, ALI am a convert to the Roman Catholic Church as of Easter 2013. I am am also a graduate of the Masters of Public Administration program at Auburn University. 51, Montgomery, ALThe most influential people in my life have been my parents, brothers & and a couple special friends along the way. My mom modeled her Catholic faith unlike anybody else I've ever known. There have been a couple coaching friends (I coached college baseball for a few years) that influenced me greatly as well. The way the ran their programs and dealt with their players. I've had a reversion of sorts to my Catholic faith back in September/October 2010 when a special friend came into my life and modeled their faith in a very excited way that it flipped my switch to learn more about my faith. By listening to many Lighthouse Catholic Media CD's and then attending a Cursillo retreat, I've learned so much about the Catholic faith and thereby actually taken ownership of it. In my leisure time I enjoy working out and trying to stay in shape, playing golf (and trying to find my ball in the woods as a result, ;).... ), hunting/fishing, and even ball room dancing. I enjoy live music and dancing in general as well. Just in my blood. A little fyi.... For those women reading this who reject the teaching of the church on pre-marital sex, I urge you to join me in pursuing a pure and chaste dating life. And accept nothing less from the guy who pursues you! I've been committed to a pure and chaste lifestyle since November 2010 (when the fire was lit for my faith), and have never looked back. Yes, it's a battle and struggle at times, but it's so worth it. My mind so much clearer when getting to know a woman I meet for lunch or dinner, who I'm considering dating. When there's no sexual agenda, it's such a purer "get to know you session." I honestly believe us men who constantly pursue sexual favors from women when dating them have worn y'all down all these years, and thereby you've dropped your bar way down to our level. I bet every woman in the world, when younger, believe and hope the they'll be a virgin when they marry (and so will the man if they're very lucky). But at least they'll be one. And as they start dating, realize it's impossible to find man who cherishes their purity, and eventually give in. And thereby raising the chances for divorce later on should they get married. There's so much good material out there that sells the pure and chaste lifestyle. Jason & Christina Evert have tons of it. "I kissed dating goodbye" by Joshua Harris rocked my world. The best way to tame a man is by dating him in a pure and chaste manner. Aren't you worth it?

36, Birmingham, ALI have two children and value every moment I have with them. Time with family is very important to me. I enjoy just about anything outdoors, from hiking to bicycling to camping. I also teach art, so anything to do with drawing, sculpture - anything cultural- museums, galleries, architecture, design. any of those things are fun too. I'm looking for someone who shares a similar set of values of course. I've had family members whose faith was significant in their lives, and who were strong examples to me growing up. I try to live out this example in how I raise my children and take care of them. Anyhow, I'm looking to meet some new folks here in town. It'd be wonderful though to have someone special to share experiences and happiness with as well.
