39, Edmonton, CA"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13) This is one of my favorite passages because it teaches me to always trust in (and rely on) God in my life. I feel in my heart that I am called to marriage, to be a devoted and loving husband and father. I know that God has someone out there very special for me and I will be very blessed and thanking God the day I find her. I will add though, that I am happy in my life, God has blessed in so many amazing ways. Since I am established in my career, and in my circle of friends, I don't find that I typically meet too many new people, hence Catholicmatch.
44, Coronation, CAIntegrity, loyalty, common sense, a wry sense of humor, a strong work ethic......just a few of the qualities I work hard at maintaining. I also have an avid interest in politics, and how they affect our daily lives, as well as the interaction of politics and religion, and the effect of one on the other. So if you subscribe to collectivist ideals, meaning modern liberal/socialist/fascist/communist/neo-con/straussian/maoist/marxist or any other ideology that puts the collective, the herd, the state ahead of the individual, chances are we will not get along. I had a political awakening a few years ago and am not constrained by the so called left versus right power play. Plus, as a Catholic, I am not able to merit Heaven through the collective, but through my individual reception of God's grace.(See how politics and religion are intertwined?) I enjoy the great outdoors, both at work and for play. The concrete jungles of the city are not for me. Whilst the great cathedrals and skyscrapers are certainly amazing to behold, I find peace, refreshment, and reaffirment of the power of God through nature.
63, Edmonton, CAI am happy with the way my life is going at the present. People tell me I have a sense of humor. I love a good laugh. I enjoy sports. (skiing, volleyball, hockey) I have 2 grown up children and a toy fox terrier and a toy rat terrier. I treat them like my children, except they don't have a driver's license yet. I work in an oil refinery as an operator. It's shift work but gives me a lot of days off.
34, Olds, CAI am easy to get along with and always look to the brighter side of every situation. I was raised on a farm and am still involved with the family farm. I like to travel, go to hockey and football games, and concerts. Also like to go quadding, jetskiing, golfing and snowboarding in the winter. I enjoy the rural lifestyle.
32, Edmonton, CAI am very passionate about my job. It lets me help people when they are at there worst. I am also passionate about growing in my faith. In the past few years I have drifted away from my faith and have found myself feeling so empty. I have realized that I am empty because I haven't been living the life God wants me to. Now that I have come back and started to really practice my faith I feel full again, though there is still a part of me that is missing, which is the woman God has chosen for me to Honor, Respect, and Love. When I am not working I love to golf, snowboard, spend time with my family (sisters, parents, nieces and nephews), doing random road trips. I hope to buy a camping trailer in the spring so I can do a lot more camping. I play guitar, some country but mostly christian (praise and worship).
47, Edmonton, CAI am a practicing Catholic. I have worked for my present employer for the last 27 years. I enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, weight training and flying. I am honest and kind and usually put others before myself.
28, Edmonton, CAI enjoy music and literature. I refuse to watch TV or movies, though I do fall victim to youtube every once in a while. Though most of my youtube-ing ends up being music. I enjoy: John Williams Beethoven Dr dre (Surprise!) Eminem Chance the Rapper John Coltrane Art Blakey My favourite books are: A complicated Kindness 1984 The Giver Lord of the flies And anything by John Steinbeck. He is, unquestionable, my favourite author. I have a rather sever form of MS and I use walker. I am currently in my first year of law at the U of A. I enjoy smoking pot occasionally, and having a beer or two every once in a while. You're not going to believe this, but I want someone I can smoke with from time to time.
22, Olds, CAOkay, to start, will warn you, i may come across as, a bit of a depressing person. but it's greatly because i don't have much to talk about and when i get to know people, i like to talk. I'm typically pretty mellow, and other than being very lonely in life (As i have very few friends both very busy with lives) i'm content working part time leaving plenty time to work on my hobbies. i love my family of six brothers and sisters and take any chance to see them or my aunts and uncles (Which i have quiet a few of). my passions other than faith lay in righting, i would say i can write up a storm some days as i have started many book which i hope to one day publish a few. i will admit i love the toy lego, specifically the bionicle branch of it. (don't worry i only talk about it with my brothers). i enjoy making webcomics with them. i also like to draw once in a while. i am a major geek nerd and overall fanboy. i watch just about anything, but my favorite stuff i science fiction (star wars, start trek stargate. the three stars) and old shows from the seventies eighties i think (such as get smart, Gilligan's island) and of course cartoons. old Disney films rank the highest after the ones previously mentioned. i love humor, any kind, most of all bad puns. i over use jokes, constanty quote movie lines, usually to myself or around my siblings. i do not laugh easily when alone but get me in a crowd, i can be a barrel of them. i like to think i'm a funny person, though i greatly suspect my humor to be warped. so i think i just about covered everything, so if i didn't scare you just by reading this, i'd love to hear from you. even if it's just a high. as i am massively paranoid that no one want to talk to me.
25, Edmonton, CAMy name is Taylor and I'm a devout Roman Catholic. I was raised in a Catholic family and as I've grown older, I have been more interested in my faith and have taken it more seriously. My experiences attending/working at a Catholic Summer camp have helped me learn about faith and fellowship. Some leisure activities include: running, indoor climbing, music (I play lots of instruments), and singing. I also recently got into swing dancing (it's so fun!). Everyday I pray by reading the daily Mass Readings. My favorite way of prayer is Praise and Worship. I have a strong desire for the vocation of marriage, and I have joined CM as a way to meet new people that share the same faith. I take dating/pursuing relationships very seriously. I enjoy any form of exercise. I have tried to exercise everyday, but some minor injuries have required me to ease up a bit for the time being. Keeping fit is important to me. I enjoy trying new sports and watching sports. I follow hockey a bit, and am a die hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan (pause for laughter). Sports are a fun way to build community with others.
28, Edmonton, CAHey everyone! The most important things in my life are faith, family, and music. Faith is my rock and my family keeps me grounded! Music is a distant third, but I couldn't imagine my life without it. There's nothing that I enjoy more than playing my guitar, writing a song, or belting out a piece with my choir. I'm a pretty active guy and would love to find someone who shares that lifestyle. A pretty face wouldn't hurt either ;) At the end of the day though, I'm looking for someone who takes their faith seriously and is already comfortable in their own life.
28, Edmonton, CAOne thing I am passionate about is my catholic faith. At this point I want to grow more in my faith my reading and going to classes that will help me understand my faith even more. With this everything I do is really based off my faith... Being around friends that understand what I need in my faith and wanting to be on the same journey as me. On my time off I usually just spend time with my friends and family.
38, Edmonton, CAI am a serious man who likes to experience new emotions. I don't believe online dating but let's take the chance. I might become very romantic if I have a real inspiration. I hope you're my muse who inpires me in every sense. Cultural life is very important for me. For this reason, I love Europe. Actually, I've lived in Ireland, England and Norway. However, I am not restricted from this old continent and I would like to know many different places in the world. In fact, I'm living in Canada. I can enhance my hobbies and interests if you like so... Regarding to my personality, I consider that I am very honest and hate lies. I am hardworking and I like the details. Finally, I strongly believe in God and the Virgen Maria although I am open-minded person. In fact, I have friends from very diverse cultures and faiths.
