57, Phoenix, AZAlthough admittedly rather introverted, am seriously looking for warmth, kindness, and good cheer in people, as well as endeavoring to improve myself. In particular, am trying to simultaneously function as a Christian, member of society, and an individual. Never married; moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1997 from Illinois, where I had lived for about 25 years. Oldest of four brothers; moved around a lot (many of you know what that is like…). Mom died suddenly in 1995 at just 60; late (divorced) father was estranged from all of us. Career computer programmer (yawn), am frequently frustrated that efforts and successful results are not appreciated by those who actually benefit (i.e. “what have you done for me lately?”); oh well…. Exercise a lot (run, gym, thousands of hours of basketball). Also read many world history and pop culture books (am a pop music fanatic, with an embarrassingly massive record collection), but wish I had time to read novels, as well as listen to more classical music. (Would appreciate any helpful hints in these areas.) Have two overly independent-minded dogs, a basset hound “Sherlock,” and “Night,” a weird mix of God-only-knows what combination of breeds (the vets even disagree). In 2001, had the undeserved blessing of seeing the Holy Father in Vatican Square (when he was still healthy enough to conduct public ceremonies), have also had the privilege of visiting the UK 4 times, as well as Ireland. Deeply despise violence, such as in my lifelong, nearly fanatical pro-life position opposing legal abortion, though I always keep in mind that most “pro-choice” people are not ogres but have simply not examined the issue in any serious way. (Favorite TV quote: “I suggest that you look for good wherever you can find it.” -- Hawkeye Pierce, “M*A*S*H”.) Biggest ongoing spiritual concern is in the area of forgiveness; recently experienced confession / reconciliation for the first time in over 25 years, and thus resumed communion as well. Belief in this idea requires a leap of faith that is extremely unnatural for me, both in accepting God’s forgiveness through the sacrifice of His Son, but also in emotionally (though of course not morally) forgiving God for the state of the world and of my life. (A priest I greatly admire once declared that anger at God is “okay I think,” because “He can handle it.”) Ironically, forgiving others is relatively easy for me….
37, Gilbert, AZI am a guy with a big heart and a lot of love to give! I am grateful to have been given the chance to be here on this earth and I try to serve God every day. I hope to find my life partner from this site. There's so much to know about me, hope to connect and see where things go!
42, Chandler, AZI am work in progress able to do most things I set my mind to do. I'm a bit of a nerd and a goofball and I am ok with that. I always try to do my very best in everything I do. I have two beautiful young children that take most of my time and attention. I have high expectations of myself and others but am also realistic. I really enjoy the outdoors and health and wellness is important to me. I strive to keep God as the center of my life and try to be a good steward with all God has given me and my children.
26, Gilbert, AZHi I'm Mike. I'm in the military currently stationed in Guam and loving it. I am originally from Gilbert though. I enjoy what I do and feel very blessed for all the great opportunities that have been afforded me. My faith and my family are very important to me. I have a lot of hobbies. I enjoy woodworking, cooking, reading, playing music, scuba diving, biking, hiking, sailing, and many other outdoor activities. I am also not ashamed to admit that I still play with legos.

33, Phoenix, AZHi! My name is Adam. My friends would say I'm kind, selfless, and good-hearted. I live with my heart on my sleeve and am always very open and happy! People would also say I tend to be a bit silly at times and giggly. .... I know - silly, but it's how I choose to deal with the stress that comes with my job. I am a full-time manager/computer programmer. I have many interests, including traveling, music, and food. I have learned much traveling throughout the world - Have been to France, Italy, Switzerland, UAE, Istanbul, Namibia, Botswana, Bali, HK, and Japan. There is so much to learn by visiting these places, in terms of culture, the world in which we live, and ourselves. :) I am hoping to find someone who feels the same. In traveling, I have also developed a greater appreciation for food. Someday I would like to take some cooking classes, but for now I just make simple meals from Whole Foods. I also love things artistic... I am part of two different worship bands - one Life Teen at a Catholic Church, and another at a Contemporary Non-Denominational Christian Church. I would like to develop my piano and voice skills, and so some recording at home someday. I believe that God has a definite plan for these gifts. I have been playing at parishes for 16 years. ... I also am a pretty avid photographer, and love to capture the emotions and culture I see in my travels. :)

54, Casa Grande, AZI was in a healthy loving relationship for 21 years. But life events happen and it's time to move on. I am a friendly person with good values. I have a good sense of humor and I love to laugh.
22, Phoenix, AZI'm passionate when it comes to personal fitness and my family. Regarding personal fitness side of things, I feel that it's important for a healthy mind to have a healthy body to go with it. Now I'm not a person who is pushy when it comes to others going to the gym and I don't go to the gym every day of the week. I do it a few times a week to help keep my body and mind disciplined and healthy. On the family side, I'm number four out of eight children. My family means everything to me, and I spend the majority of my free time with them. Along with my faith they're the most important things in my life. I'm currently attending a community college to get my basic classes out of the way then I will be transferring to a university to get a bachelors degree in economics with a minor in political science. I plan on going to law school to become a lawyer. In which field of law I don't know yet. I'm politically aware in the sense that I like to keep myself informed about the goings on of our political (circus) sphere. I find it all fascinating and yet frustrating. On the faith side of things, it's the single most important thing in my life. I go to Mass every single Sunday. If it wasn't for my faith, my life would seem meaningless. I'm a firm believer that with God anything is possible. If you're interested in talking with me feel free to message me. I'm a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm more outgoing. I like to joke around and have a good time. I'm laid back and I try my best to be as accommodating and considerate as possible. I look forward to speaking with you and getting to know you.
