Hello, I'm 47 and the father of a 14-year-old son who is my gift! I'm positive, motivated and very caring. I do not smoke and rarely drink. Dating a woman of the same faith is important to me . I'm very simple minded and down to earth and find myself uncomfortable around people who are complicated.

I'm a busy professional who would like to meet a special woman. It would be nice to share meals, do things together on the weekends, and travel together to destinations near and far. I like going to movies (mostly foreign and independent films), dancing (ballroom, latin, swing), cooking, reading, as well as staying fit by jogging and working out three to four times a week. I consider myself to be attractive, good-natured, intelligent but not a brainiac, and a good listener (I have my flaws too). My ideal match would be a woman who has taken the time to get to know herself, is open to growing in awareness, and has a positive outlook on life. Chemistry does matter to me, be it friendship or romance. That said, I prefer taking things slowly to find out whether or not we are compatible dating partners, with the potential for building a committed relationship. Although this may sound like a clich, I have truly begun to understand that no one or no"thing" can make us content. Someone or something may increase our happiness, but abiding peace and contentment are truly an inside job. With that in mind, rather than an exhilarating new experience, I seek a companion with whom I can share the peaks and valleys of this journey we call life. I'm open to meeting and developing a friendship/relationship with someone from another state, even another country. Please include a picture/s with your profile or I will not respond.

Hello. My name is Matt. I'm a lifelong Catholic and my faith is very important to me. I believe in following the church's teachings on the major social issues. Growing up, I had two very good parents who made sure that I attended mass every Sunday. Family is very important to me. I was married once and I never had kids. I got an annulment after going through a divorce. I am open to the idea of getting married again one day if I can hook up with the right woman after dating for a sufficient period of time. In my free time I like going hiking out in nature. I also like watching movies and sports. I run on a regular basis for exercise. I love the water and water related activities. Fishing is my favorite hobby. I also like to swim, boat, and water ski. I don't get the opportunity to do the water related activities as much as I would like to. I work as a Caregiver. I have a good work ethic and I believe in doing my fair share. I expect to be working well into the future. I believe in working hard, but I also think that recreation is very important. It is important to me that I find a woman who takes her Catholic faith seriously. It would also help if she had a sense of humor and liked a variety of music. I like a little of everything as far as music goes. I have an older brother and an older sister. Both of them have had children. So the only kids in my life are my nieces and nephews. My sister and her family live out of state so I don't get to see them very often. My brother lives here in Arkansas. His kids are all grown and they also live in Arkansas. Naturally, I see my brother's kids more often than my sister's. Politically, I identify with the Republican party. I like the fact that they are pro-life and that they tend to be more conservative. They tend to have similar values to me. I just can't see myself voting for a Democrat because I think that abortion is morally wrong and they tend to be pro-choice and just too liberal for me.

Hi---What does a person say about themselves without sounding self indulging? I'm just common folk who likes to laugh and especially make the ladies "titter". Love to hear "you're crazy", my response---crazy for you! (You figure out the meaning). I'm pretty much a "homebody". Not that I'm adverse to going places, but the difficulty of getting there. I'm not much of a adventurer, but you could probably change that. Following the question guide above, I suppose I'm most passionate about my religion. I'm choir, adoration, and masses. Also some volunteer work. Another "passion" is my gardening---flowers and trees. I'm mostly outdoors enjoying all the gifts God has given me. Experiences and/or people that have been most influential in my life has been my parents and wife, but mostly our Lord. Worked hard for this day, now I must cheer others. The question on leisure time is kind of difficult as pretty much my whole life had been at leisure and still is. Suppose my "main squeeze" would be a bit of a homebody as myself though not a "porch hound". My "claim to fame" is the accusation made one time, "he really knows how to take care of his girls". (Love to see them "swoon" by my word or action). I'm not a dresser by any definition. Mostly blue jeans and t-shirt. Now I'm a bit hypocritical here. I like my lady to be a "June Cleaver" a person who knows how to dress "classy" but not ritzy nor gaudy. (I'm getting myself in trouble here----better stop while I'm ahead). One of my favorite things? Give you a big hug and a kiss while I'm all sweaty and dirty from outside. HA! Just like to add----Some ladies had problems with it-----I do have a pony tail and a diamond stud. (left ear)

The old adage says what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. I know that to be true; I was born with Spina Bifida, but I havent let that stop me. Being in a wheelchair means I am more limited than most, but keeping my body strong is a priority for me. So are my family and my faith. I am the man I am today because of the influence of both. Those who know me best see past the wheelchair to the real me. They will tell you that I am loyal, faithful, and considerate. I am well-mannered and kind, determined and optimistic. Im a true people person; I love to interact and I like to see and make people happy. I aspire to make a difference in the lives of others. My ideal match has a terrific sense of humor, strong faith, and a positive outlook on life. Im looking for someone who wants to build a friendship and experience life together.

Not looking to play pen pal with you through emails or text because I know that makes for a dull and boring view of both of us. Communication will make or break a relationship no reason to wait. I say find a person who loves you for exactly who you are. Good mood, Bad mood, Ugly, Pretty, or Handsome. The right person is still going to think the sun shines out of your ass. That's the person that's worth sticking with. I am not afraid to open doors and take coats, just say I care about the comfort of those around me. I appreciate a woman who shows she cares, but I'm not interested in being courted. l am interested in finding a partner who can slay her own dragons, pay her own bills and explore the world alongside me. In search for a woman who doesn't need me, but wants me, not for money or the happiness or a baby or a safety net, but solely for who I am. I have a career; I ride motorcycles, and very close to my family even though I don't get the opportunity to see them a lot. I am honest with myself about myself and not afraid to say I have made mistakes in life. Not just looking for a good girl, but a great woman that can teach me something along the way and share their life and qualities with me.

I am passionate about a lot of things, my faith, my family, and also my goals. I have been known to be quite the overacheiver, but that is because of the tough times I have had in my past. I used to think I was broken, but God has shown me I am perfect because He made me. In my leisure I like to watch Netflix and hang out withe my family, or read a good book

my grandmothers was the most influential. Person in y life. When I was born my mother did not want 2 sons. So I was given to her parents to raise. Life was idiliic . Then at the age of 5 I was returned to my parents who were strangers to me. My grandmother was still in my life. Especially when my mother tried to commit suicide. She would care of us until my mother got out of the hospital. Grandmother never said an unkind word to anyone. And always was dignified kind and always truthful.
