52, Morrilton, ARAhhhh, the 'describe yourself' part - isn't writing that fun? What to say - what not to say - so many decisions. I'm definitely a product of my parents - and I'd have to give them the nod as being the most influential. My mother's biggest contribution was a love of classical music along with the ability to play the piano. But the ability to take the piano apart and put it back together came from dad (yes, the piano did work after it was back together). As a result of their influences, I can find something interesting about almost anything. But through it all, there was always an understanding that whatever talents and capabilities we had, those talents were God-given and should be treated as such.
26, Rogers, ARI am passionate about God, my family and friends, my career, helping others, music, and sports. I graduated from the University of Arkansas and am now currently working at the Sam's Club Home Office. I love my Arkansas Razorbacks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Chicago Cubs (no I'm not a bandwagoner laugh out loud). My favorite sports are basketball, bowling, football, and golf.
31, Bentonville, ARHello there! I have a wide variety of interests, including kayaking, reading, breathing fire, politics, mixing drinks, fixing up houses, backpacking, and pretty much anything that is awesome. However, being that I'm a white male computer programmer, I do not have the ability to dance, so that one's out of the picture. And of course, God is the most important thing in my life (at least I try to make Him so!). I am in love with the Catholic faith. It invigorates me to know that I can spend my entire life learning about and practicing Catholicism, and not even scratch the surface. One way I feel especially called to live out my faith is in the pro-life arena. I have seen so many lives shattered by abortion, and am very passionate about doing everything I can to help out pregnant mothers in tough situations.
60, Jonesboro, ARHi, My name is Joe and I became widowed about a year and a half ago. My wife and I had many enjoyable times and adventures for over 20 years. we have two great children out on their own and, for now, two wonderful grandchildren. Now About myself. My most enjoyable thing that like to do is Travel to different areas and experience new cultures, customs and countries. Museums of most any kind, especially the Smithsonian, New York history, Chicago museum of science and industry. These are among my favorites. I like classical music, history, science, business, geology, nature, knowledge, occasionally eating out, movies, and am open to new activities.
31, Little Rock, ARI like to think of myself as upfront, approachable, and loyal. I am the kind of person who likes to try out everything life has to offer. I love to learn new activities while also constantly honing the talents that I was blessed with.
28, Fayetteville, ARI am Robert. I live and work as a nurse in the ICU in Fayetteville. I grew up in Prairie Grove where my family still lives now and I enjoy spending time with them about once a month. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in nursing but then followed a call to discern priesthood and enter the seminary. After four and a half years and a very short stay in a monastery I decided that holy orders was not for me. Instead I believe that God is calling me to married life. I pursued marriage even to the point of being engaged and planning a wedding. I am grateful to have been with her and I am ready to start looking again. In my free time I enjoy spending time with and calling friends and family, reading, cooking, and taking walks and hikes.
53, Little Rock, ARHello! My name is Howard, I'm a software engineer in Little Rock. In my spare time, I work on my house, read, try to cook new things (but it's hard to cook for just one!) I like to drive to Northwest Arkansas to see my daughter and her family. I enjoy going out to eat, concerts, movies, junk/antique shops. Not into the bar scene at all. It's been years since I dated, and I'm trying to figure things out (lol).
63, Rogers, ARHonest, loyal, financially and emotionally stable person. Have preferrances but open to suggestions. Family is very important but doesn't consume my entire life. I enjoy outdoors including golf, boating, fishing and being around others.
46, Center Ridge, ARI am a loving caring father , son , and friend I love to make others happy and I work hard to give hope and happiness to those I care about the most. I am lost at the moment life just changed and I am a little down on myself but I know I have allot to give and a lot of life left to live just need someone special to help me threw the rest of my life
31, Fayetteville, ARFirst of all my name is pronounced E-sah-E-ahs (it's spanish for Isaiah) but I usually go by Izzy. My faith is greatly important to me. I strive to live my faith daily. I grew up being the oldest in a family filled with girls. It was definitely interesting and fun. As far as my hobbies go, you could say that I'm a bit of a geek. I enjoy meeting with friends to play games (Not your typical games like monopoly but thinking and strategy games). I am also a big Star Wars fan. I like to collect Star Wars things and frequently let my nieces and nephews play with them, or at least that is my excuse for getting them. Above all else, family and friends, who I consider to be family, are important to me. I like to believe that I'm artistic. I have several sketch pads and art supplies. Growing up my father was my primary influence. I look to him to try to emulate and be a better man.
34, Little Rock, ARYes, I'm divorced... No, I don't believe in divorce, at all, and I fought to stay married. My wife divorced me when I discovered she was living a double life and hiding cocaine and pill addiction, abandoning our child, and was having affairs. I believe all problems can be solved, and tried hard to find any sort of solution or set of solutions. Having said that, I couldn't change things, but I feel like that's the first thing I have to admit. I'm a true Southern Gentleman. I was raised and educated in Catholic schools, and went to a great liberal arts college. I work for my family business, and have a son who just turned two. His mother left us, after being exposed to cocaine and pharmaceuticals, cheated on me with drug dealers, and would not accept love or forgiveness; and we had to learn to live without her. Half a year later, we're stable and building life back up, and my priest advised me that it's okay to find female companionship, at this point. I don't believe in divorce, and fought hard to save my son's mother, but we cannot control others. I try to be a good person, good father, and think of myself as a great catch, who ended up with the wrong person... I hate that I'm a divorced man, and spent my youth trying to avoid this situation! I need a "reset" button.
33, Rogers, ARCalifornia transplant who has been involved in the church since 2nd grade. First as a an altar boy, later in youth groups, and now as a lector. Through my faith I've learned to humble myself and give wholeheartedly. To not judge others for their actions or lifestyle choices, but to love and to build community. I enjoy giving back by being involved in youth sports and coaching soccer and helping to grow both skills and self esteem. I also enjoy spending time with my dogs out in nature; whether going for a run with them or heading to the river. I am looking for a partner who wants to establish a foundation with the lord as our center and strength and who wants to work toward building a family. Of course a friendship must be developed first and foremost as I am also looking for a best friend to walk beside me in this beautiful life God has granted us.
