Ahhhh, the 'describe yourself' part - isn't writing that fun? What to say - what not to say - so many decisions. I'm definitely a product of my parents - and I'd have to give them the nod as being the most influential. My mother's biggest contribution was a love of classical music along with the ability to play the piano. But the ability to take the piano apart and put it back together came from dad (yes, the piano did work after it was back together). As a result of their influences, I can find something interesting about almost anything. But through it all, there was always an understanding that whatever talents and capabilities we had, those talents were God-given and should be treated as such.

I am passionate about God, my family and friends, my career, helping others, music, and sports. I graduated from the University of Arkansas and am now currently working at the Sam's Club Home Office. I love my Arkansas Razorbacks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Chicago Cubs (no I'm not a bandwagoner laugh out loud). My favorite sports are basketball, bowling, football, and golf.

I have recently retired from education after 30 years (23 as a coach and 7 years in administration). As I coach I was very successful in winning 3 state championships as well as the last overall state championship in Arkansas. My passion was to help kids develop life skills through basketball. I believe that was truly my greatest accomplishment. One drawback to my passion in my job was that I probably was too consumed with it which probably explains why I have never been married. That and the fact I am very picky and want someone with similar faith and similar values and interests. This is my first attention at a dating website so I am interested to explore the possibilities as I have retired (for now anyway). Financially I am stable and the teacher retirement is very good. Currently I am enjoying retirement and have focused on eating healthy and losing weight. So far I have been successful as I have lost 20 lbs in 3 months and look forward to continue the healthy eating and exercise that I had trouble being consistent when I was working. My favorite hobby is playing golf. The Hot Springs Village is the best value in the country with 8 beautiful courses to choose from and very affordable. I think golf provides me with the competitive challenges that I enjoyed in coaching. Also looking forward to playing tennis out there. Had a great childhood with exceptional parents who had 9 kids in 11 years. That in itself qualifies them for sainthood. Lol. Good Catholic education through 6th grade as well as weekly study on weekends throughout my high school years. Athletics also helped me to develop life skills such as work ethic, teamwork, discipline, coachability and a desire to be the best in all that I do.

The coolest thing I've ever done is fly an F16, which ruined roller coasters for me. I enjoy trying new things and am fairly open minded. I'm smart, loyal, and kind. I own two cats that I inheirited, but dogs are my true love. I love stories that feed my imagination, and as such love books/movies/games. Don't jump to a conclusion though, I also keep myself in shape and workout nearly everyday.

    31, Fayetteville, AR
First of all my name is pronounced E-sah-E-ahs (it's spanish for Isaiah) but I usually go by Izzy. My faith is greatly important to me. I strive to live my faith daily. I grew up being the oldest in a family filled with girls. It was definitely interesting and fun. As far as my hobbies go, you could say that I'm a bit of a geek. I enjoy meeting with friends to play games (Not your typical games like monopoly but thinking and strategy games). I am also a big Star Wars fan. I like to collect Star Wars things and frequently let my nieces and nephews play with them, or at least that is my excuse for getting them. Above all else, family and friends, who I consider to be family, are important to me. I like to believe that I'm artistic. I have several sketch pads and art supplies. Growing up my father was my primary influence. I look to him to try to emulate and be a better man.

    44, Fort Smith, AR
Hello, My name is Ronny. I am what's commonly known as a cradle Catholic... I am active in my Church and also in my men's group every Tuesday morning. I was involved in peer led retreats as a teen, in the Cursillo Movement as an adult and volunteered in Youth Ministry for several years to build it up for when my children were of age. I enjoy the Mass, and it's liturgies. So, I guess I am a practical Catholic. I enjoy Kayak Fishing, Camping, working on my Classic Honda Motorcycle, karaoke, cooking, a good joke, and good friends.

I want to make the most of this life by being able to give something back to my community and above all else, become the man that God sees in me. I enjoy working out/running, going to the movies, reading good books, some outdoor stuff, and spending time with my family.
