Hi, after many years in the Faith, and after having read many books on the Faith, living the Faith has become very simple. I do take my Faith seriously though, it figures in all the decisions etc that come along in life. I feel that our most important job in life is to get our souls to Heaven, and if you are married, to assist the souls of your spouse and children, if any, to also get to Heaven. I love to laugh and make others laugh. Obedience is probably one of the most important words in the Faith, since once you are obedient, then God can work His miracles within you. It's not so much what you do, it's simply a matter of getting out of Gods way and let him rebuild you. As St Paul says, what do you have that has not been given to you. This abandonment to the Will of God, and living in god's presence, is what brings ongoing peace and happiness. I regard myself as creative, reasonably patient, love children, have a rather active sense of humour, but can also be very serious. Have travelled a bit in Europe, really enjoy a good movie (clean), but I think my favourite past time is simply to sit down with friends over a meal or coffee and talk. You don't get a lot of genuine friends in this life so I do enjoy the few good friends I do have.

I am easy going, fun loving (in my own low key way ) professional man -curious about our world ( I am a scientist after all !) who is an active Catholic interested in the important spiritual issues of life. I am loyal and supportive to my friends and relatives as they are a very important part of my life. .I like to have fun by occasionally trying new things as well doing some old favourites. I particularly like walking in the bush and by the sea - its great when I can combine them in one walk. I also like to swim and practice Catholic meditation.Chess has always been a favourite hobby (don't be fooled- its a brutal mind game not for wimps !) . I love going to the movies and particularly like inspirational films such as "Chariots of Fire" and "Take the Lead" ( it's worth watching just for the sizzling tango scene alone !) I read a great deal - biographies, autobiograhies, science and science fiction are particular favourites as well as subjects dealing with health, body and self development . Music favourites are Crowded House, Simon & Garfunkel, Enya,Elton John, the Beatles, Rita Coolidge and classical(particularly Baroque style).I like dancing (salsa and ballroom) and wish i had more time for it (maybe one day!). I am interested in personal development and have tried to improve myself by being involved with public speaking (Toastmasters) as well as attending workshops dealing with communication and leadership. My work has taken me to many interesting places around Australia and across the world. I have rested on the banks of the Nile river in Sudan, followed zebras across the deserts of Kenya and chased camels across the Gobi desert in Mongolia and sampled a glass of Beer Lao on the banks of the Mekong River in Vientianne . The best part of all of this is meeting the people in these and other countries. I have found that people are the same the world over once you get past some cultural differences. It has made me appreciate what a great country Australia is.

I am a country boy at heart, living on acreage close to the Gold Coast. I work for myself, the job is physical and keeps me very fit. I play tennis when I can and my musical taste is what ever is on the local FM station.I consider myself to be successful but what is that if you have no one to share it with? I like to live in harmony with nature and am actively seeking to incorporate my business activities with my farming practices in an environmentally friendly way. We have only got one world and I feel that God has only given us custody of it.

Hi there. I'm a devout Catholic of Spanish/Filipino descent, who enjoys the company of friends from both within and outside the Church. Besides my work as an electrical engineer, I keep myself occupied by singing in a church choir and catching up with friends. I love travel and have recently completed an epic pilgrimage to Lourdes, Santiago de Compostella, and Fatima. I like to expand my networks and meet new people and share knowledge and experiences. I also like to engage in subtle evangelisation and bring people to the faith by whatever means possible.

I have autism spectrum disorder and a physical disability, so I use my faith as a coping mechanism - and am passionate about helping young people with autism. My parents and other family members have arguably been the most influential in my life. I grew up with adults, not peers, so my understanding of a relationship is based on observing companionate marriages. I value companionship above all in a relationship. understand marriages by observation and I understand romantic relationships to some extent although cannot relate to that experience. I also cannot pretend to have known how to relate to my peers properly before I was 23 (when I learned some conversational skills from a speech pathologist) - I don't have the same experiences as them. Because of this, my having related better with adults, I am looking for someone who can be a companion to me before she is anything else. As I have been celibate for over half my life (due to rejection), I enjoy solitary recreation such as reading, practicing the guitar and walking/exercise. I am celibate at the moment although open to what the Lord provides.

I am a health professional and studying for my graduate degree. Because of my study, I only work part-time at the moment. School time ranges from 3-5 days a week and I work 2-4 accordingly. Yea, my schedule is fully packed, but I enjoy the feeling of serving the community and being away from the boring study temporarily. Everybody around me thinks I am joyful (and sometime too joyful). I hope I can meet someone who car share the joy in my life.

Hey I'm Sean, I'm 25 and am currently working as a cook but studying to become a Personal Trainer. I like cooking, sports, exercise, cars, rock music (cool with most genres), fishing and chilling with Friends and family. I like going out socialising and having a drink occaisionally but would take a drive to the coast or a walk through a rainforest or hiking over drinking myself sober anyday!! I am shy at first so I can seem a bit tame, but get to know me and you will see my wilder side!!!

I love work and having a variety of things on the go at any time. When not working down time often means adventure of some sort that usually entails seeing new places. Enjoy reading and sports. Have been influenced by (often without realizing it at the time) a large eclectic number of people and events.
