    I'm a practicing Catholic who is looking for a woman who shares my beliefs and leads a moral life. I enjoy activities that allow me to be creative such as writing songs on my guitar and making independent films. I have a career as a computer programmer and recently bought a house. I take my job seriously but I make sure to separate my free time from my work time. I'm loyal to my friends and believe in the value of family. I've also read at least one Mars/Venus book and I think I understood most of it!

  • Anthony, 34 from Vancouver, CA
    {%action_menu%}
    34, Vancouver, CA
    Hello. I'm Anthony. I'm passionate about trying new things and being curious about the world. I'm a Pisces (I don't believe in astrology but I find the personality profile matches me quite accurately) and I'm an INTP in personality on the Myers-Briggs scale if you're familiar with that. I'd say a concept that generally guides my life is "WHY". In elementary, I would stare out the window and daydream, and I've always wanted to know how things fit together. I'm a deep thinker, but in addition to that, being very discerning and objective has made me very eclectic and malleable. I've never been a type of person to box myself in as an academic, or an athlete, as intelligent, or simple. When I see something or someone interesting I decompose it and try to find the causes - what makes that person like that, how did that thing get like that? And then I decide if I can/want to become that or see if I can do that. That open-minded way of looking at the world has led me to study art, philosophy and science, fire-fighting, circus arts, pole dance, motorcycle racing... and the list goes on. I do not like the idea of NOT being able to do something. In a general sense, I guess that would come across as "ambitious" - eliciting images of dictatorial or overbearing and controlling behaviors... that's not me, though. I'm as fluffy and cuddly as a teddy bear, my ambitions are more personal in that NOT being able to do something usually means I haven't tried it or haven't understood it, or I have some sort of internal fear. I think understanding yourself is the first step to understanding others. I try to learn empathy every day. I guess that's part of my catholicism... it helps me understand and empathize with others and love more. My leisure time is a mix. I enjoy video games, I love to run and ride my motorcycle. I travel once or twice a year. I like team sports but also rock-climbing and extreme sports. I love movies - especially science fiction and super-hero. Sometimes I just sit at home and watch TV. I sometimes like to eat out... but I don't usually make it a big event or take pictures of my food. haha ;)

    27, Vancouver, CA
    I am a laid back social introvert, who loves the outdoors (hiking), good live theatre and movies, trying new beers and wines, playing boardgames and I have recently started to get into wood working. I am also a major nerd when it comes to Scifi and fantasy, but this nerdom crosses over into history, philosophy, theology and everything to do with the liturgy and church teaching. I'm not the best at small talk but would rather have deep and meaningful discussions.

    Hello! My name is Mark and I'm new to this so bare with me. I've dated a few times when I was younger and it has become apparent to me the importance of finding a partner that is like minded when it comes to Him. I enjoy all things fitness and sports especially hockey. Plus I work in the fitness industry, so health and well being are a big part of my life. It should be with my partner as well. I'm interested in meeting Catholics who are open minded and are up for adventures. Shoot me a message sometime.

    I am passionate about music and film, and play guitar/sing at open mics here in the city when I have time. I am also passionate about learning about First Nations culture, a recent passion that has sprung from my current work with the homeless. I am a convert to the Catholic faith, and it plays a large role in my life. I am just looking for friends at the moment, but I am open if it becomes something more. I am currently working full time as a social worker/advocate for the homeless in Victoria and really enjoy my job. I have spent time with the Carthusians and Benedictines in the past.

    Hi! So, a little about me: I'm a substitute teacher (I know, I know, but ladies, please, form an orderly line) for Catholic schools in Victoria. I just recently got my M.A. in English, and I studied both Catholicism and English in my undergrad. I own my home and have been living in Victoria for three years--I'm originally from Toronto. My faith is really important to me and I'm looking for someone who shares those values (I don't mean that I am looking for someone who agrees with me on every single thing--just that we share common ground in terms of what is important in life). Basically, God comes first in my life and I'm looking for someone who puts Him first as well. In my spare time, I love to read. And I really do mean that--I read a LOT. I play saxophone a little, piano (though I'm way out of practice) and I can sing a bit. I am also a big fan of old movies, especially film noir, so if you like that we'll have lots to talk about, and if you've never seen one, you'll be subjected to at least one. It's probably easier to get to know each other by actually talking, so we can see if we connect. God bless!

    I haven't tried this before, but I figured, what do I have to lose? I am currently a second year computer science student in university. I work part time managing a store's website. I've been Catholic all my life, although, my faith has often went up and down. I'm a bit more introverted, and I'm not one for parties or large social events. I'm interested in shooting sports, and I try and get out to the range whenever I have time. Besides that, my only other hobbies are video games, and browsing the internet.
