A student of communication trained as a soldier, actor, and educator. Possesses the ability to understand and synthesize information into a useful message that can be utilized by others. Able to verbally translate written text and human behavior with a strong verbal skill set. Experience in education and performance, strengthened with a natural curiosity of environment. At least that is what I put on my resume. I call myself a former actor although, I have not yet let that dream die just yet. I did just enough stage, television and film to call myself an actor. It was that life that sort of pulled me away from the Church. After many years of searching and contemplation I found out I am now and always will be Catholic. I returned eight years ago and have over time confessed all my sins from my time away. I attended Christ Renews His Parish team 2 of St Catherine of Siena and found that my story is not that uncommon. A lot of brothers out there went through some trial or another. Saint Genesis pray for us.

I am grateful for the way that God manifests in my life, through nature, through music, through art, through the mysteries of the universe. I have a special devotion to our Lady, and am inspired by the words She spoke to Juan Diego: I am your Mother. Do you need anything else?

-I truly live a blessed, active an out-loud life. Blessings include excellent health, abundant energy, effervescent personality and deep intimate friendships. I continually sharpen an inquisitive mind. Having lived in the SF Bay Area nearing 40 years, I have made handfuls of friends with similar tenure. -I am interesting because I am interested; in many things. An electrical engineer by training and temperament I fix or build things. I prefer older working-things to shiny new-things; substance over flash! I'm funny, witty and reasonably well read. I've ability to express opinions about topics studied an understood. Style-wise, I seek reaching deeper into fewer subjects, than superficially into a multitude of them. Uncompromisingly optimistic, I see the glass Half-Full. -I'm an excellent listener, with well-honed communications and leadership skills from 14-years active membership in Toastmasters Intl. I live by principal of being 'fully expressed'. Saying what I mean, and meaning what I say; I regret nothing spoken. I've matured from a world view of 'I think' to that of 'I feel'. Richly in touch with my feelings, I am unafraid letting my feelings show. Caring deeply in general; family, friends and the marginal - particularly! My mantra is "People don't care how much I know, until they know how much I care." - I'm never bored, nor boring and love playing Sudoku, Backgammon and Chess. I play with and collect Lego! My favorite foods are Prawns and Real Ice Cream. I'm an excellent chef/cook, enjoying at-home culinary creativity, paired with mid-priced wines. -I have an eye for composition in digital photography as a semi-professional hobby. My new camera is now paired with my birthday gift 50mm f/1.8G lens. I read instruction manuals. -Went crazy for the Rio Olympics. Love the Tour de France, Formula 1, and MLB/NFL Playoffs. Crazy for NBA Warriors. My hometown Washington Redskins are still my favorite football team. - My Dear Mother and I are extremely close. She lives in an adjacent county, and has had most profound influence on my faith. My Love Languages are balance of Quality Time and Physical Touch. -I'm lucky to have loved, though I lost at both to heartbreak. Hoping this third time, with this strong catholic woman is blessed. The estate of love for her surpassed only by my love for/in Christ Jesus! Blissfully happy again; this time I hope, lifelong.

I'm a chill guy and down to earth. Like working hard to achieve my goals. I love the Church and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I am consultant by trade and am a life and athletics coach (my real passion) on the side. I have the coolest taste in music (maybe eclectic), ranging from classical to jazz, Dave Matthews to country, and latin to middle eastern music. I like traveling and have a long list of places I want to go. Spirituality, prayer, friends, family, fitness, reflection, and fun are very important to me. Right now I travel a lot during the week, so I am looking to start as friends and progress from there.

Probably the central tenet of my Catholic Christian spirituality is extrapolated from John's Gospel, Jesus' teaching that we all --i.e., each and every human being--are inherently united as one in Christ. The implications of this belief touch everything . . . yet it is a life-long journey to increasingly understand and live this belief out in daily practice: To love self and each person we meet in each situation. This admittedly very challenging to do. Yet I would want my partner in life to at last share strong overlap of this approach to spiritual life so that we could support each other on our life journeys.

"The writer has two kinds of faith: actual writing and sitting openly. Have faith in your personal effort or sweat. And faith in God... Then the voices will come. Faith is the big deal." - Suzan-Lori Parks I'm a playwright whose purpose is to make a positive impact in my community. One way I do this is by finding humor in things and by making others laugh. I have an open mind and an even wider heart. This leads to having a deep passion for the performing arts having also been an actor, director, singer, and musician. But I'm also a techie whose full-time job is creating cool ways for people to shop on the internet. I'm also curious, optimistic, spontaneous, and creative. I'm a hopeful romantic wanting to explore the world. And I'm a person who is anxiously awaiting for the person God has been planning for me to meet. Having that kind of Faith is a big deal.

I am a special education teacher and a Big Brother volunteer. My dream job would be running an orphanage one day. I love board games so I hope you do too :) It took me a while to find my place in the world. After undergrad I was a substitute teacher and studied economics. Then I enlisted in the US Army and fought in the Iraq War. After being honorably discharged, I went to seminary and interned as a Catholic hospital chaplain. I received my teaching credential from USF and love working with kids with disabilities. I believe in courting a woman, and taking things slow. I believe in acting like a gentleman and treating a woman like a lady.
