57, Redondo Beach, CASo Im a catholic . . . not exactly a poster child, considering I am a divorced father of 4. Regardless of that contradiction, I still have a strong faith. So Im a dad . . . . an active one, that enjoys those days in the stands watching them play sports or having a houseful of kids playing video games and eating pizza. Now theres only one left at home, so opportunities for a little me time are not as sporadic and unpredictable as they once were. Nevertheless Im a man . . . . one who lives in the present, enjoying the sweetness of whatever life has to offer. I prefer playing sports to watching them but theres nothing like playing golf on a challenging course or watching the Super Bowl at a packed sports bar in Las Vegas. Reading is one of my passions, I go through a couple of books a month, everything from serial murder (my personal choice) to an occasional chick book (Devil Wears Prada) just to catch a glimpse of what the other gender is thinking. I have to warn you, being a man, I hunger for that physical affection, if you dont like touching or being touched both of us are probably going to be annoyed. As much as I love riding the Matterhorn, its a lot more fun when youre not riding alone.
61, Covina, CAI'm rather conservative and old-fashioned. (Can't help it...I'm from the Midwest. ;-) although I am generally open-minded. Everyone has their short list of deal breakers, and so do I. I've spent most of my career in the computer field, but I have never considered myself as a guru or geek. I'd like to think of myself as an individual, although sometimes I'm sure I'm considered weird or unusual. I am also honest to a fault. ;-) I consider myself an intellectual, and am educated beyond what the degree says. I believe in lifelong learning, not necessarily structured or formal, but an education all the same. My nature is generally quiet and introverted. Sometimes that scares folks. They don't know how to deal with someone who isn't always trying to jam a word in edgewise. I DO talk though, once you get me started. Sometimes too much. I am able to carry on a conversation on just about any subject except sports. I don't mind a hockey game a soccer match, or minor league baseball, but I never really understood the rest of the sports. Dirt clod fights?...That I understand. I don't like cards or board games (or any other kinds of games for that matter.) I guess I became burned out on games. Probably too many winters in the basement, when there wasn't anything else to do. I can't play Trivial Pursuit because people get irritated me...I know most of the answers. I am very laid back. I'm a bit of a social clod, but I clean up well. (When I was in junior high one of my friends said that I was "socially retarded". It was probably a true statement, at least at the time.) Also. I am funny, with a dry sense of humour. I am essentially an introvert with extrovert tendencies. I'm more of a listener than a talker. I have been active in the Los Angeles/Orange County/Toronto Irish communities and music for a long time, serving on the board of directors the Los Angeles Irish Fair. I started up bagpipes again a few years ago, and I'm also involved in Scottish tradition. I regularly attend cultural events. Theatre (season tickets to La Mirada McCoy Rigby series), orchestra, live music of all types except rap and heavy metal. I live at or below my means. I am very easy going and accepting, and my expectations are not restricting. But I'm not desperate. ;-)
43, Arcadia, CAI am a fun loving Catholic guy who enjoys movies, plays, good restaurants, and good company. I value family and want to have one of my own some day. I have a good sense of humor and often make people laugh. I am the type of guy people enjoy being around.
60, Lakewood, CAI am 5' 11" at 171 lbs. I have brown eyes, dark brown hair, and my physique is regular to slim.. I am at an ideal weight basically. People have exclaimed to me that they thought I was much younger than my actual age.Whew! I thank God for these genes! I am low key, at first shy, but can warm up quickly with the right person. People have described me as sincere, considerate, respectful, friendly, loyal, a man of his word. In private, I would add that I have a big heart. I am compassionate. I sacrifice myself for the sake of others. I also happen to be very passionate in whatever I apply myself to. I fiercely believe in love that is patient and kind and always forgiving... For love is not a feeling. Love is a choice! I like to laugh at funny scenarios and absurdities in life but never at the expense of hurting the feelings of others. I believe in chivalry and romance. I believe in opening doors, etc. I hope to find someone who I mutually trust and admire. Honesty of oneself is critical to understanding and loving one another. When one is honest with oneself, then one can be honest with the other. Honesty begins with self. This is Really BIG for me! I pray to do the right thing in the present(God's Will). I am not judgemental about others' past, for we are always God's people in progress. By working on ourselves who has time to be judging others? In a word, I guess what I am saying is... that I am looking for someone who is sincerely working on themselves daily. Faith and commitment to follow Christ through the Catholic Church's teachings and practices is a requirement for me. I will explain more in private how I make this happen. If you already know it's grand importance and have this in place in your life, then I would love to hear from you!!! Now for interests, activities and hobbies...I am very flexible in doing whatever my special someone would like to do or does already. I like to do all activities where our senses meet the wonders and the natural beauty of the world around us. So, use your imagination! Insofar as type of food... I love Thai and Chinese. I am open to all other types of food as long as it's not squiggly or looks at me while I am eating it!!! (LOL) In summary, I am looking for a long term friendship with someone who has been looking for a guy whose heart and soul is in the right place, where God is placed first in the relationship, where our love and faith is spiritually nurtured.
27, Monrovia, CAMy name is Seth, I suppose the best way to explain me would be someone who was born out of his time. I belong in the 1920's as a young man Or a young man in the 1860's It is hard figuring out how to use the keyboard to explain who I am, I would rather just tell someone then have them read it. But I guess I will just have to try... I am 26 years old, and I was born and raised in Southern California. I have traveled allot in the Continental United States but finally I am settled back in So Cal. I work a full time job in the field of Marketing, and honestly I enjoy it allot. I want to travel, but I have decided to wait until I have someone in my life who I can make memories with rather than tell memories to. Message me or reply to a message I send you :) that is all I can ask for.

In my family we have Old World lineage and had some Priests that worked for the Vatican. Ignatian retreats prove I don't have a Vocation, but to Matrimony. Unfortunately, I have not met the right woman for Holy Matrimony so far! I'm into alternative medicine, so younger women, please don't be worried about my age, it is that of a younger man lol Hopefully you are into alternative medicine too, so we can stay YOUNG and avoid diseases! I'm a church musician, organist, choir director. I also teach music and am a singer/instrumentalist. I play various instruments, bass, guitar, trumpet, keyboards, accordions, and perform various genres: sacred, classical, international, jazz, country, pop and blues.
