I am a hardworking, responsible and reliable guy. I like to keep a neat appearance and try to keep up in athletics when I can. I enjoy golfing as it is mentally relaxing as well as physically. I haven't traveled that much, but I'd like to. I enjoy concerts especially pop/rock. I really am not into adventure like skydiving or going on safari. I like simplicity and surprises. I have my own faults too, but am trying to block them out. Ha! Our Lady of Guadalupe that was blessed by Pope Benedict and travels the world was just at my church in Newhall in 2012. It's a remarkable image as I could see with great clarity details of the image, even though I was in halfway deep in the pews. I did not know until after the image left about the Eyes of Our Lady. Her eyes reflect the scene of St.Juan Diego as he showed the bishop the flowers and image on his tilma. It's only with today's digital enhancement that this has been revealed. So, I guess it was meant for today's times. She sees Everywhere. What a blessing! Our Lady strengthens me when I doubt and inspires me to pray the Holy Rosary everyday possible. Plz look it up on the internet! It's very inspiring.

Because of a life circumstance (taking care of my folks for the interim, at least) I hope to find a friend whom I can share some of what Cali can offer. I enjoy a variety of activities, and prefer not to limit myself to specifics, but I do have favorites. I enjoy a challenge, so I like to be active, physically, intellectually, and spiritually, and seek them out. I've found that compatibility has to be more than a shared faith, though foundational, it's always nice to have common interests. Even though I grew up in a large city near LA in Cali, I prefer spending time outdoors (hiking, fishing, camping, hunting, etc) and would eventually like to live in a rural setting (with my own pond/lake) or near the beaches. What truly would be nice is to meet a friend/wife to travel with (hopefully to areas with good fishing). I'm also somewhat of a quasi political advocate (at least currently), not because of any great love for politics, because I truly believe we must stand for the tenets of our Faith, and other values we hold dear, both for ourselves and our children. I'm also very grateful to have lived very near to Franciscan University of Steubenville, because of the spiritual opportunities that the University offers. The conferences throughout the year are outstanding, and the Catholic community here is solidly rooted in fidelity to the Magisterium. I'm also continuing a last-chance-at-getting-in-real-shape-before-I-get-too-old exercise program, P90X. It's been good even though I am currently recovering from a boating accident through PT. My bucket list would include traveling to Rome, Catholic sites in Europe, Japan, Hawaii, upper Canada/Alaska, and sky diving....

i am a practicing catholic (practicing most likely because i don't know i'll ever get very good at it) active in my parish. i don't require that a partner share that, altho it would be nice, only that she accept it, as i will her beliefs and encourage and support her in them as long the behaviors ours manifest are not in conflict. i don't quote scripture nor wear my faith on the outside. i just try to live it albeit with inconsistent success. on that i heard a jesuit say, faith like all truth, is a journey not a destination. i am an adult, with a youthful outlook but not frozen in perpetual adolescence. if a harley-riding eternal teenager inhabiting an adult body dressed in denial and festooned with tats (nothing more richly ironic than a permanent commitment to a passing fad) and pins is what you seek, move on; what others do to their bodies, well, the key word is others. but such adornment on a lady is not a bad thing, subtlety is key; the jewelry and any ink should never distract, rather enhance. the lady should wear it not vice versa.. i believe in personal honor, mutual respect and common courtesy, all increasingly uncommon in today's world. i believe in the same sort of kisses as crash davis. copia de pesce

I am enjoying my career in financial services where I have been CEO of two, billion dollar national businesses during my career and I currently enjoy working full time. . I helped raise a family of seven children (all grown) and the family is close. My Catholic faith has been very influential in my life. I am very young thinking and active although I enjoy leisure time and I'm an avid reader. I appreciate quiet dinners in lovely settings and I enjoy talking about virtually all subjects in all categories. I am also as they say...... a hopeless romantic..... and I write poems and songs and I'm a gift giver and a lover of people. Doing God's will is what we have been sent to this place for and I work hard to try to accomplish just that.

Just a point of clarification regarding having children. I put that I don't have any children because I don't have any of my own. However, through marriage, I have a step-daughter and step-son of whom were already 25 & 18 years old when I got married. They both are now married for many years and I have 5 grandchildren. Even though they live near by, since my divorce in 2012, I don't see very much of them or even get a call from them very often. This is not of my choice but I guess their busy lives etc. A little about me, I am 4 generation Polish, the oldest of nine, two sisters and six brothers. There are now eight of us. As far as what I am passionate about, God always comes first in my life, so I'm passionate about God and my relationship with Him. I'm passionate about God's calling for my life--to use the skills He has given me not only in the work I do but in being to help people with projects repairs etc. I am fortunate enough to be quite handy at fixing things, remodeling etc. Also, I am passionate about Health and fitness although in the past couple of years I haven't been as active as I would like but that is changing as of now. I love my 2 dogs, Bailey a Bichon Frise and Bogie, a Golden Doodle. My mate must also like/love dogs. I love nature and its beauty and am passionate about caring for God's creation. Besides my parents, especially my mother, may they RIP, my Grandparents had been a big influence in my life as a child and throughout my school years. I probably spent more time with my Grandparents than at home. As far as what I do in my leisure time, I spend time taking care of things around my home, try to catch a movie when I can and also watch feel good movies at home. I am back to working out at the gym 3-4 days a week. I want to get back into riding my mountain bike, doing a little golfing and going for hikes. I would also like to get back into going up to mountains doing some fishing etc., I like doing outdoor activities.
