I'm A 32 year old Chicano born and raised in Los Angeles. I also lived in Mexico City for a few years growing up. I consider myself a good person who likes to help out friends, family and my community. I feel I've reached a point where spirituality and family come first. I've been working as a pharmacy tech. for the last 11 years. On my free time I like to go on road trips, hiking or do anything outdoorsy. I also like to pick fights to prove my manhood. You know feel macho. The ladies love it and I'm darn good at it. I'd like to meet somebody that emotionally and verbally abuses me. It makes me stronger. Just kidding.

Originally born in OC, lived in Louisville, Ky till I was 12, then St. Cloud, MN till 18, and finally back to LA for college and post college life: There's a lot to get to know. Between food, music, sports, work, business, family life, home life, we'll have plenty to talk about.

So the site says to "introduce yourself", yet I find it difficult at times to find the words. What I've come up with is going into more detail about what I am looking for to help you undersand me. Here it goes: Are you Extraordinary? That can be taken in several ways, as in Extraordinary looks, Extraordinary personality or just full on Extraordinary! Is it wrong for me to desire the latter? So what I feel would be extraordinary in a woman could be different from what the next man thinks. You see, we are all individual's with personal likes and tastes. These are mine: Be thinner so I can wrap my arms tightly around you. Be without too many tatoos, for I wish to see your natural beauty. Be under 5' 8" so that I can look into your eyes and not up to them. Be a lady so that I can feel good about treating you like one. Be loyal because I am loyal. Be between 30 and 50, as I am in that bracket. Be fun, because spending time with someone who is not only brings the mood down. Be Christian, as I am. Be willing to cook, for the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Be real in your profile, for when we meet, the truth will come out. Finally, be understanding that these are things that I feel would make the woman for me Extraordinary! If you do not fit this, it's ok. Do not feel bad. Other men are looking for you and you just need to find that one special guy. I know what I am looking for and that is good. So please don't make me wrong for knowing what I desire. Thanks for reading and good luck in your search. Blessings!

I am, probably, most passionate about my politics and the state of the nation. Though Catholic, the person who has been most influential in shaping my world view, beyond my mother and some teachers, is Dennis Prager, a conservative Jew. I sing and write in my leisure time.

I am an academic who does not bury himself in a pile of books but in the world around him. "It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing......"

  • John, 34 from Culver City, CA
    34, Culver City, CA
Hello y'all (don't know why I y'all came out - I'm from NY) I'm John. A pleasure to partake on this awkward yet necessary way of meeting people in the 21st century... online dating. I pay my bills, wear matching socks, and love my mother. All kidding aside, my faith is the single most important thing in my life. Like some Catholics, I did my own thing for a while then realized that everything that made me who I was; my church, faith, my beliefs - was missing from my life. But as Dante said, "you must travel through the depths of hell in order to understand the greatness of heaven." My sidetrack wasn't that dramatic but you get the picture. So now, more than ever, my trust in Him is what drives me every single day. Love road trips. Experiencing everything life has to offer. I eat healthy, workout, have biceps, incredibly charming blah blah it's what's on the inside that counts, right? Continually trying to make a difference in this life. I stumble... often... but praying that I meet someone so when I do stumble off track, they hug me, push me back on my path, and tell me to stop being a dumb@ss.
