My faith is a big part of my life. I am very active in my church. I also like helping people close to me, whether it's listening to them or giving advice. I am a very relaxed person and would like to enhance my life to do more activities, such as volunteering, traveling, or watching theatrical shows.

Green light, open highway, the motor's running... My friends say I redefine the Renaissance Man. I have accomplished much in life; mostly I have done these things for myself and I cannot deny it has given me much personal satisfaction. I do not want to say hindsight is illuminating and I am living with regrets, yet the open road I journey on would seem more fulfilling if there was a travel buddy. I will see the world in a different perspective. I live life using both sides of my brain. I can tell you how it feels to make music on stage, to dancing a Viennese Waltz, to performing experiments in a lab, to saving a life in the back of an ambulance. I enjoy what life has to give and for me to give back. It had been that the seat on the right is empty; would not it be much more fun if you can point out that landmark for us to see? Past journeys have taken me to many tops of the four thousand footers, living and working in five countries, two tour of duties, 26.2 mile strolls in and out of cities, and more... They were amazing experiences but unfortunately you were not there so I could share them with you. My friends and family come first no matter what! Life is too short not to make time to spend it with them or to be there because they need you. I cherish my non-work activities as they give meaning to life, these endeavours keep me inspired, refreshes my spirit and usually I learn something about myself and the workd around me through them. I've a travel itinerary, but it needs a second pair of eyes, a warm heart and an open mind to double check the route and points of interests. There may be potholes, bad weather and a traffic build-up, so what if a little detour takes us to the road less traveled? Perhaps we will discover a little diner that makes the best milkshakes? At the next rest stop, you and I are switching seats. I may be looking at the map, but I want you to get us to the next portion of our trip. At the end of it all, I would love to ask how you felt.

I am passionate about life in general, living it up according to God's will and word. My family, especially my parents and grandparents, are what shaped who I am. On my leisure time, I enjoy reading books, especially the bible. I love the outdoors and love to travel.

All of the ladies attending the ball Are requested to gaze on the faces Found on the dance cards Shuffle the deck and if you happen to randomly choose me you will find a charming although simple man who loves just being with a best friend hanging out and enjoying life as it comes through the grace and glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed me with a passion for playing classical guitar and a gift for seeing things in the world and capturing it in photographs. He has blessed me in more ways than I can count. If you chance upon seeing my dance card I thank you.

"The writer has two kinds of faith: actual writing and sitting openly. Have faith in your personal effort or sweat. And faith in God... Then the voices will come. Faith is the big deal." - Suzan-Lori Parks I'm a playwright whose purpose is to make a positive impact in my community. One way I do this is by finding humor in things and by making others laugh. I have an open mind and an even wider heart. This leads to having a deep passion for the performing arts having also been an actor, director, singer, and musician. But I'm also a techie whose full-time job is creating cool ways for people to shop on the internet. I'm also curious, optimistic, spontaneous, and creative. I'm a hopeful romantic wanting to explore the world. And I'm a person who is anxiously awaiting for the person God has been planning for me to meet. Having that kind of Faith is a big deal.
  • Joey, 49 from Antioch, CA
    49, Antioch, CA
I'm a teacher by career but really a student of life. I love to learn new things and daily re-learn about the beauty of life. I do a challenging but rewarding job of teaching students with special needs. After work, I spend my time working out, especially running. Staying healthy is my second job. I like to read and write sometimes (trying my best to maintain a blog about running and my reflections on the road). I enjoy being a dad. I have a son who's in college, away from home. He is my best friend and he matters to me a lot. It's important to him to see his Dad carry on and be happy again after losing his Mom to breast cancer 5 years ago. So I'm looking to meet somebody who values beautiful friendship that can lead to a long term relationship, enjoys the simple joys of life, likes to stay fit and healthy, and lives a prayerful life.

I enjoy the outdoors in my free time . Fishing or boating is my favorite . Aside from this what occupies my mind most of the time is working to be a kinder , more gentle person , to have true humility . I guess I want to be pleasing to God and rid myself of the intolerable me . This to me is real work and by the Lord's mercy I am moving forward but still have a long way to go .

I'm a simple guy with simple taste in life. But I've always had difficulties finding the right kind of women. They have to be a good balance of beauty, brains, and an amazing personality. What can I say, I'm a bit picky lol
