I've been described as caring, down to earth, romantic, kind, generous, confident and witty with a sense of humor, well traveled and family oriented, who like to enjoy life to it's fullest. In the evenings you might find me in the kitchen cooking a gourmet meal. I enjoy spending time on my cabin cruiser (boat). I like to go the beach Carmel is my favorite spot to be, the movies, explore hidden hole in the wall restaurants with good food, but equally happy to make it a Netflix night. I'm a down to earth, happy, active, well balanced, enthusiastic and well traveled and I search for any opportunity to laugh. I enjoy adventures, I like weekender out of town, small venues and getting outdoors in almost any capacity. That said,... "Family is very important to me". I am high spirited, genuine and honest to a fault, financially comfortable and I'm not looking for anyone to take care of me. If you're searching for qualities in a partner, look no further... who can be more romantic than an Italian man? I'm a European transplant,,, Italian is my native language, Italian & French are my primaries languages, English is my secondary language. It would be nice to find someone (woman) easy going, not difficult, go with the flow of the moment, NO stress, NO drama, NO crazy EX's have fun and enjoy life to its fullest. I have NOT yet met the one yet,... I rather be single and happy then tied up in a unhappy relationship... My motto is "Time is a precious commodity you cannot buy, save, waste or rewind". I live tomorrow today to it fullest because tomorrow is not promised"... let's find out what the future has in storage for us... How about you?

Lived the first 12 years in Iowa, then we moved to Minnesota. Enlisted in Navy after graduation. Stayed in Calif. after the navy, met wife year later. We had 3 children all are established in Calif. Married for 45 years until she passed last year. Very quick. Now I am looking for someone to share what lies ahead. Conversation, sunsets, weather, travel etc. I guess I am a man of few words as you can see.

I'm an athletically built guy in great health who is always on the go. Any sport will do, and I do consider dancing a sport. I am out of the home most of the time, except when weather keeps me away from the outdoors. I'm passionate about life, sensitive and prone to tears over sad and happy events, and like various types of movies. Since I enjoy seeing God's creation, I love being in places that exhibit His handiwork. Backpacking is great for both excercise and experiencing nature. I love to cook and enjoy most all types of food. I'm in great health, which I attribute to my all-organic diet. If I travel I usually take the opportunity to do something besides site seeing, like golf, tennis, swimming, dancing, ATV's, billiards, concerts, movies, hiking, or any other event. Since I take my faith seriously I often plan my life around matters of faith and church. I have found that life has a lot more meaning when I live this way. I am a 3rd Order Dominican, go to daily Mass, and read the Litugy of the Hours daily. I have taught Bible Studies and other topics in parishes.

-Not so recently celebrated 64th Birthday. I truly live a blessed, active an out-loud life. Blessings include excellent health, abundant energy, effervescent personality and deep intimate friendships. I continually sharpen an inquisitive mind. Having lived in the SF Bay Area nearing 40 years, I have made handfuls of friends with similar tenure. -I am interesting because I am interested; in many things. An electrical engineer by training and temperament I fix or build things. I prefer older working-things to shiny new-things; substance over flash! I'm funny, witty and reasonably well read. I've ability to express opinions about topics I've studied to know an understand. Style-wise, I seek reaching deeper into fewer things, than superficially into a multitude. Uncompromisingly optimistic, I see the glass Half-Full. -I'm an excellent listener, with well-honed communications and leadership skills from 14-years active membership in Toastmasters. I live by principal of being 'fully expressed'; saying what I mean, meaning what I say. I regret nothing spoken. I've matured from a world view of 'I think' to that of 'I feel'. Richly in touch with my feelings, I am unafraid letting them show. Caring deeply in general; family, friends and the marginal - particularly! My mantra is "People don't care how much I know, until they know how much I care." - I'm never bored, nor boring and love playing Sudoku, Backgammon and Chess. I play with and collect Lego! My favorite foods are Prawns and Real Ice Cream. I'm an excellent chef/cook, enjoying at-home culinary creativity, paired with mid-priced wines. -I have an eye for composition in digital photography as a semi-professional hobby. My new camera is now paired with my birthday gift 50mm f/1.8G lens. I read instruction manuals. -Went crazy for the Rio 2016 Olympics. Love the Tour de France, Formula 1, and MLB/NFL Playoffs. Crazy for NBA Warriors. My hometown Washington Redskins are still my favorite football team. - My Dear Mother and I are extremely close. She lives in an adjacent county, and has had most profound influence on my faith. My Love Languages are balance of Quality Time and Physical Touch. -I'm lucky to have loved, though I lost at both to heartbreak. Hoping this third time, with this strong catholic woman is blessed. The estate of love for her surpassed only by my love for/in Christ Jesus! Blissfully happy again; this time I hope, lifelong.

All of the ladies attending the ball, "May I have this dance?" I am honored that you have taken the time to view me. Yeah I get "silly". I can remember old songs and can sing them. I love corny movies shown on Hallmark Channel and also enjoy books on personal perspectives pertaining to government and social issues. My passions are playing my classical guitar, taking pictures, riding my bike around my neighborhood, hiking in the high Sierras and being on a stream casting my fly line. I love getting up early in the morning in the mountains, breathing in the fresh air, listening to the water as it trips and falls over the rocks and hearing the rustling of the wind through the trees. Oh -- I consider myself a fantastic cook. Those things are just something that love I do. Introductions are just words that cannot possibly describe who anyone is as a person. It is a start. We are all on this website to meet someone. I am a good man with strong faith in Jesus as the one who died for us so we can walk with Him in peace and love.

I've been blessed with a wonderful loving family life and looking to share this gift with new friends and perhaps that one special woman who can join me and my extended family for weekends and holiday dinners and be a part of the Love and Happiness we all share.
  • Paul, 70 from Piedmont, CA

I'm good natured, reasonably intelligent, positive, active and very curious about the world around me so I love to explore and learn. I love to laugh but its hard to laugh alone. To me a good sense of humor is the holy spirit of life. I love going on adventures ... road trips (crisscrossed the country at least 10 times, seen all but Alaska), local or distant travel, seeing museums or just a good movie. I love history as it often provides unique insights that explain the present. I enjoy staying busy and have a series of hobbies including ham radio, photography and genealogy. I'm the fourth in a family of seven so I learned patience and how to get along right from the start. My family and my Catholic faith are important to me. I'm flexible but conservative. I'm in good health and plan to stay that way as long as possible. I lost my wife of 45 years so I know how to love unconditionally and think of love as the reason for living. I miss someone to cherish with whom I can share my life, be it a local adventure, a museum, a trip to some place interesting, a movie or just the talking about the events of the day sitting close together with a book on the same sofa. I love visiting England the present home of my oldest son and his family, a delightful daughter-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters. I guess that makes me an Anglophile passport at the ready! Everyone says to stay busy so maybe you and I can meet and explore our world together. Having a sense of humor is important. I laugh at myself all the time. I want someone who lives life to the fullest, looking for new adventures around every corner. I very interested in meeting a kind, happy, confident woman with a good sense of humor who shares my values and convictions, a woman who takes an interest in her health and wellbeing and is open to intimacy that connects body, mind and soul.

I am passionate being a member of the Music Ministry. I sing on the 12:15PM Mass every other Sunday. We are gearing up for the Holiday singing of Xmas Carols. I am Japanese American in a mostly Filipino mix of men and woman. We sing with sopranos, altos, tenors and bass level singing. I am trying to improve my singing. I am also in the Knights of Columbus. We do Church Benefits, e.g., St Patrick's Day lunch, Pancake Breakfast, Crab Fest among others. I visit my mom at a private care home in San Mateo. It is brand spanking new with a lot of safety systems in place in the event someone slips and falls, etc. My mom has Alzheimer's and turned 95 yo this year. I will take her out for lunch on Black Friday. If you want to join me, I am going to Hilton Inn in Concord brunch on Turkey Day. I will cover your portion of the brunch. This is only the second time I eat by myself. When we meet, I'll explain the rest. I had my 17 yo son a week ago Friday because he will be with his mother's relatives. My other son, 23 yo this December, works for the Navy on Nuclear Reactors in aircraft carriers. His wife had her first baby on 10Sep2016. My second grand daughter, yeah!!!!!!! I'll let U know what I do on my leisure time, I'm semi-retired. Best Regards Dennis
