36, La Mesa, CASo, this is my list of things I'd rather be doing than writing about myself: having a good beer, chopsticking sushi, listening to an orchestra or good band, engaging in deep thoughts, watching a good movie, sauntering in a foreign place, gazing at a distant landscape, holding my baby niece, playing cards with my parents, cooking an exquisite meal, playing football or soccer or tennis or tetris, rummaging through a farmers market, kneeling before the Blessed Sacrament, finishing off the bottom of an ice-cream cone, flipping animal flesh on a barbeque, talking philosophy/theology with a priest, rationing out a bag of wonderbread to the ducks by the lake, feeling the texture of an antique, debating something important, enjoying a coffee at a table with friends, swing dancing, hiking, laughing, and so on and so forth. I'm a web manager for a Catholic organization, I sing bass in choir and teach catechism. I exercise often, I'm sort of a health nut and try to eat organic, though I occasionally indulge. I love learning and spend a lot of time studying history, philosophy, design, technology, and many other subjects. Though I study not just for the enjoyment and wonder, but also to be able to engage with others and poignantly share my beliefs. My faith is not just a part of my daily life, it defines me. All my desires refine to one: to become a saint: to know, love, and serve God. And all these words are a sort of message in a bottle addressed to someone who will help me fulfill this one desire. My life would be recompense to her.
35, La Mesa, CAI'm always striving to doing my best in everything, being my best for God, myself, and all the people in my life. I am passionate about growing personally because I believe you can't give what you don't have; at the same time you can only give what you don't have in the sense that everything we have is from God. I'm living one day at at time, embracing my crosses and in my heart to God I ponder the poetry of St Augustine "Late have I loved you, Beauty so ancient, so new". It's a story of a man who laments because he did not finally yield to faith and baptism till his thirties. While God has given me the gift of faith early in my life I feel I can relate as I feel God is changing my heart for his purposes. I want to be in relationship with a woman, at the same time, my need and ultimate desire is relationship and communion with God - and these two need not be mutually exclusive. While words are important, I believe actions matter more than words, and it's important to be able meet to spend time together. Some things I enjoy: trying new things (e.g. learning swimming/dancing, food), spending quality time with people, engaging in deep conversations, music and singing, yet sometimes quiet time (e.g. retreats) Some interests: being out in nature, Volunteering, martial arts, reading (e.g. saints, philosophy, psychology, personal development), journaling, amateur gardening

58, La Mesa, CAYou have gotten this far so I would like to share a little of me and my story. I have lived a life that is open to interpretation for sure. All my good, bad and ugly I have turned into life's experiences. As one man sad ' I am who I am" I love life, enjoy and look for the simple pleasures of life. I like to get out and about, ride my bike, go to a sporting event, arts, street faires, movies - on and on. I go to the gym 4-5 times a weak...not to be muscular but to be healthy and slow down the aging. Plus, I feel good. I'm easy to please for sure. I am wrapping up my career as a public lawyer and looking forward to another chapter in my life. I have no fear of being bored for I have plenty to do and plenty of dreams to pursue. I am fortunate in that I have no money issues so I can pursue those dreams. My children are 11 16, 19 and 36. All are super who provide me with so much happiness. But, as they grow they move on to their independence and it is now my time. I hope to find someone similar to me but different in ways that adds to my life. I am drama free and look for the same. Lets have fun, go places, do things or do nothing - but together. If it sounds like something you are interested in...please let me know I
35, La Mesa, CAI'm a devoted Dad, son, brother, and friend. Work weekdays and live it up on the weekends. Likes; farmers markets, art walks, boating, surfing, dining, movies and all things San Diego has to offer.
24, La Mesa, CAHello, my name is Kevin and I feel that i'm a pretty down to earth and easy going person. Other than that I don't really know what else to say about myself. Some of the thing I enjoy are hiking with and training my dog Chloe, Listening to music and playing soccer.
58, La Mesa, CAThe seemingly endless bloodshed in the Middle East has to come to an end. History tells us that the native peoples of the Holy Land have lived in peace when not being harassed by other nations. From the Greeks to the Romans, the Crusades, the British Empire and now the Americans and Russians we have seen war. Hashem will protect the Jewish people and eretz Israel as He has for nearly six thousand years. If the foreign interests leave there will be peace and all of the children of Abraham will be free. When not pontificating my political views, my passion is cooking. Making stocks, baking breads and developing recipes keeps me busy. Music is also something important. Roy Orbison, Gordon Lightfoot, Tony Bennett and Dinah Washington are some faces, but some days AC/DC or ZZ Top may be blasting.
37, La Mesa, CALooking for someone to complete me and I will complete her. I like to cook, to travel, to speak, to help and to be partner. I'm volunteer in the hospital.

35, La Mesa, CA"When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story." -Barney Stinson Kidding aside, I think this is the third time I have rewritten this summary. I guess I just find it weird to write about myself. So back to awesome, well that's my family. My family has a lot to do with who I am, so I couldn't say much about me without including them. We all get along great and I'm very blessed to have them in my life. I enjoy exercise; primarily running, cycling, and swimming, but definitely not limited to those. Healthy body, healthy mind. It's a great time to organize my thoughts too. I love to travel, seeing new places, and experiencing different cultures. I've been lucky in that I was able to travel quite a bit because of previous jobs. What's better than being a tourist on the company's dime? Moving on... I always enjoy a good laugh. I'm not a comedian by any means, but I have my moments. Even if it means laughing at myself. I consider myself pretty easy going and low drama. There's no point in getting all worked up over stupid stuff. As I mentioned, I like being active, but I also don't mind hanging out and watching TV or a movie. Everything in moderation.
