70, Newport Beach, CAI am a person of varied interests: bridge, tennis, gourmet dining, football fan, long walks, water aerobics, tutoring elementary school kids, active in my community activities. As a Catholic my effort have been to bring my alma mater University of Santa Clara back to being a Catholic school instead of a secular Berkeley. It was revealing that at the Walk For Life in San Francisco, I found a group of students from UC Irvine, but no group from Santa Clara. The politicization of the Church educators reached locally when Fr. Vincent, the Religion Dept chair of JSerra high school, was a visiting priest at my chapel's Sunday Mass. His sermon blithely equated Walmart's use of non-union workers to abortionists and pornographers. Fr. Vincent did not respond to my email protesting this political use of the pulpit .
31, Newport Beach, CAI like to get the most out of everyday and be as good of a person as possible. I don't believe in being negative, I'm the most positive individual you'll probably ever meet. I'm originally from Florida but moved out to California three years ago. Things about Me: I love my Catholic faith, I love the Sciences, I love moving/traveling to new places, I'm big on outdoor activities (fishing, hiking, running, snorkeling, spear-fishing), I love going to mass, praying, cooking, coffee, BBQ's, working out, and living life. My faith? Well, it's an enormous part of my everyday life. I love everything there is about my Catholic faith and God is constantly on my mind. "I am nowhere near perfect, but I wake up every morning with the intention to be"
47, Newport Beach, CAFrom the midwest, most of my family is out here. Pretty straight forward alpha male but with few twists. Love the arts from my Mom side(I took tap/dance lessons from my mom). I also teach a class here and there as wel. The reason I'm on this site is because my faith is very important to me, but I don't get get caught up in dogma, I believe God dwells in each one's heart. Spiritualness is fine with me. Through the mistakes, heartbreaks and through the tough times you leaned on the Big Guy up above to get you through it. What it comes down to for me is building a genuine relationship on friendship and respect for who that person is, and not basing it on where the next vacation is or what fancy material things you can posses (although I like those things-just not basing a relationship on them). There is no doubt I'm the King who builds the castle for the Queen. I know that I'm here to find someone special that I can cherish and build a family with. Additionally I would like to find someone who can let their wild-side out. Someone who is sexy, confident, sassy, knows how to have fun, takes cares of them self, live's a healthy lifestyle, likes the outdoors, drama free, who values honestly, loyalty and communication. Lastly this might sound insensitive to some, but I have to put some disclaimers out there to save us both time. I'm looking for someone between 5'5-.5'.9, Caucasian/Mixed Caucasian, workouts, physically fit (slender- tone) and whose in their child bearing years (under 40)....and knows what they want. Family is essential, typically have dinner with my immediate family every sunday. Dig hiking, catching a baseball game, dancing, beach sports, concerts, bottle of beer or a glass of wine. Love my career, challenging and rewarding. If you would like to learn more...Lets talk. P.S. I am looking to have my own family
54, Newport Beach, CAAlthough I enjoy being actively involved in my church, both in Eucharistic Ministry as well as activities with our Catholic Singles group, this is not enough to define me as a practicing Catholic. Striving to live our faith on a daily basis, or more accurately, continual basis, is what motivates me in my relationships with family, friends and at work. I especially enjoy the company of those with a positive, optimistic outlook who are lead by their faith, find it easy to smile, and have a caring heart and concern for others. I also enjoy maintaining health and the fun of a variety of outdoor/athletic activities.
34, Newport Beach, CALife is not meant to pass by, but to be enjoyed along the way. With this said, I am an avid skier and golfer, I try to travel as much as possible, which is usually once a month, even if it is a quick weekend trip. I try to spend as much time with family and friends as possible. I am active in my parish, as a member of the Knights of Columbus, Pastoral Council and volunteer with Youth Ministry. And I am a big Notre Dame football fan.
64, Newport Beach, CAI'm passionate about everything Catholic which is the centre of my life. My pilgrimage to Medjugorje 8 years ago changed my life and brought me from Liverpool UK to California In my leisure time I enjoy eating out and live music. I married outside the Church and after returning through a series of Godincidences my former wife and I took separate journeys. Eventually when j realised I'd never be alone I separated after 43 years of marriage. To be honest I'm wary of online services and rely on my first impressions gave to face in seeking companionship leading to solid friendship and true love of the other person. God has shown me my strengths and weaknesses and I continue to try and be the best I can Let me know if you're a Medjugorge fan or want to know how it might help getting closer to JOY and Peace in your Heart

27, Newport Beach, CAPassionate about happiness. Sounds cheesy, but I'm generally happiest around happy, good-natured people. My parents are the most influential people in my life. I'm binge-watch and play sports in my leisure time. Nothing beats a Saturday of watching college football and dinner/wine with a significant other to cap things off.
56, Newport Beach, CAI am passionate about utilizing the gifts I have been provided by God, to the fullest. I have been most influenced by the Catholic education I received from junior high school through college. I enjoy using my mind solving the challenges in my financial services career, my body in most athletic endeavors, primarily tennis and cycling, and my soul, simply bringing joy to those I encounter.
27, Newport Beach, CAI enjoy music and going to concerts. I like to cook and listen to music and dance while the chicken is cooking. I like waking up slow and listening to velvet underground and alt -j records. I play disc golf or work out on my days off and watch movies and tv shows. I also like to make puns and jokes about nothing, kinda like jokes on Seinfeld.
32, Newport Beach, CAI hike every weekend and am a lover of anything outdoors. I try to cook nearly every meal myself so I've become quite handy in the kitchen :) I'm a huge fan of anything cultural and love to explore the ins and outs of new areas, cuisines, and meet as many people as possible! In my spare time I love to watch film, go to the beach, get together with friends, and am also fairly active in politics as it used to be my career. I became Catholic 2 years ago after going through RCIA and it was the best decision I've ever made. Since then, I've become very active in my Parish and I host my own Small Faith Group, do Knights of Columbus, I still go to RCIA and sponsored someone this last year, and I'm on several core teams at my Parish so I feel like an integral part of community which is wonderful. I'm looking for a girl that has a great sense of humor, appreciates life, is motivated, and can nerd out close to as much as me as possible. She has to be kind, sincere, responsible, and have a good head on her shoulders. Taking life too seriously is not a good quality, so a girl that can relax and be herself is very important!
