Hi! I was born and raised in Israel. My parents are Canadian and are Christian Missionaries. I moved to Canada about 5 years ago and discovered the beauty of the Catholic Church. I became Catholic and my relationship with Christ has since continued to grow. I love being Catholic. I work with a great ministry called Catholic Christian Outreach. I get to produce videos that reach university students for a living. I love it. I also love music. I'm currently working on the final touches of an album - acoustic folk stuff. Most of all I just want to do God's will in my life.

No matter the situation, you can always count on me to give you a shoulder to lean on.I may not be the perfect prince for you. However,My promise to you is that I will give you the best things in the world, spare my best time to be with you and share my whole life with you. In return, all I need is your love. Talking about myself as a person,I work as an engineer for a lumber company here in Alberta. My life experiences do not begin in Alberta however but span 2 continents.Ethnicity wise, I have a Portuguese-Indian background.I never lived in India but instead spent my entire childhood in Dubai, which is in the United Arab Emirates(There is a catholic church over there that I used to go to).Once I turned 18,I studied in the U.S. for 4 years before arriving in Canada in 2012.Since 2012,I have been moving from Ontario,BC,Saskatchewan and then finally Alberta.I do want to make Alberta my home and I am trying my best to do so. In my free time, I like to go swimming,in warm waters and usually these days,I swim in indoor pools. In my spare time I like to learn new things(like computer languages) and learn about the history of different peoples and cultures(Nowadays I do this by watching Netflix and you-tube documentaries). There was a time, when I read a lot of books and I loved to read the works of Thomas Aquinas. This was the most important influential figures that represented my catholic faith. The history and biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer is another piece of literature that I loved reading after seeing a documentary about him on Netflix.

I work full time operating our family farm. I enjoy family gatherings & dinner functions, etc.I play music a couple of hours each week at nursing homes. I play the fiddle & enjoy listening to country music. I am hoping to meet a young lady, who would like a future life in the country, on a farm. I love the farm life. What I know, I have self taught myself by listening & watching my father, my grandfather & others. I enjoy hunting whenever I can. I also continually serve on the altar at Sunday Masses. I have been doing so for over 16 years. I enjoy being there & have taught a number of young servers as well. I strongly believe & trust in God, Jesus, & Our Blessed Mother Mary who is always with us. I go to church every Sunday & other special church days. I do call on Jesus, to help me with my work & I know that He does answer me .With farming I put a lot of faith in God. I have blue eyes & dark wavy hair. I am half Polish & half Irish descent. Everyone says I look much younger than I am. I am honest, sincere, hard working & enjoy company. I would like to meet a young lady who would become a true friend. I want to marry a girl who does have a good prayer schedule & help me to remain strong in my faith too. It is hard to know what else to say about myself. I am easy going, fun, hard working, loyal, dedicated, honest. If want to know more about me please email me.

There's a story about St. Augustine, who while contemplating the Trinity, ran into a kid on a beach trying to pour the entire ocean into a little hole he had dug in the sand. The saint, when told by the boy what he was doing, laughed and told him that he was nuts for trying, only to be zinged right back with 'so, what then, makes YOU think you can fit the mystery of the Triune God into your small mind?' (spoiler, the boy was an angel, and God is the master of one-liner comebacks). I've always liked this story, because in many ways, I often find myself trying to 'fit the whole world into my head', mostly because my hunger for new understanding, knowledge and skills sometimes turns me into a scatterbrain who buys too many books on subjects such as avian architecture, film noir posters, Russian prison tattoos, medieval illuminations, the history of beer, childhood linguistic development, and Japanese heraldry, all the while trying to learn woodturning, jewellery making, or metalworking in my spare time. I love offbeat TV comedies, cerebral sci-fi, dystopian dramas, 80s action flicks, documentaries and indie films, and everything else in-between. Underneath it all, however, I love that veiled mystery of the Divine that has been at the core of every creative endeavour throughout the endless ages, that drives me to understand it better, and through it come to know God the Creator of all, and every person made in his image.

Hello! My name's Michael. I'm a recent graduate from McGill University working at a high-tech firm in Ottawa. I'm very passionate about the Catholic faith, and strongly believe in living a Christ-centred life. I was fortunate enough to live for several years at the Newman Centre, the Catholic chaplaincy at McGill University. giving me the opportunity to live and grow in faith with fellow young Catholics. I was deeply involved with the Catholic community at McGill; for example, I used to serve as president of McGill's Catholic students' association, the Newman Catholic Students' Society. I find the Church's intellectual tradition very appealing. I enjoy learning about theology and moral philosophy, and I'm currently reading a book on the thought of Aquinas, my favourite saint. I am fascinated by technology. I started programming at a young age and my interest only grew over time. My degree is in computer engineering and I will be working as a software developer after I graduate. I often work on personal programming projects in my spare time. I have a strong interest in politics and world affairs. I used to participate in debate, public speaking, and model UN in high school, and I still enjoy debating with others about, well, pretty much anything. :) I enjoy watching movies and television, especially science fiction (e.g. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, Firefly), witty comedies (e.g. Frasier), and action-adventure (e.g. the Indiana Jones series).

A few random facts about me: -#family_above_everything -bringing the best out of everyone is my #1 goal -when I'm passionate about something, I gotta own it. I never betray my goals. -I put kale in everything -I know every line in the Fresh Prince of Bel-air -a pretentious princess is my all time greatest turn off -I can be an extrovert given the right conditions, but really I'm a forever introvert -I'm an Architect and I don't need no woman to pay my bills I don't expect much from this site. If you're the opposite from me but have the same values, I'd be quite drawn to you. If you're down to earth, happy being who you are, and can bring the best out of me, holla and I'll try my best to bring the best out of you :)

I am a bit of a wanderer, and to date have lived in Africa, Europe and North America. I like the idea of having the freedom to go anywhere, and pursue new things, but also have a place with deep roots to call home. My passions are sports, business/economics, design, and people (not in that order). I am definitely a glass half full guy, and am always looking for opportunities to fill that glass up. I really enjoy the process of getting to know someone, so I won't say too much on here, but whatever it is you have to say, I'm probably interested to hear it.

Globetrotter - I have loved travelling the world since I was four years old. My parents are both immigrants and settled in Canada from far-away places. They understood that travel as an experience was as educational as anything learned in a classroom. As a result of their teachings, I travel as often as I can and, while this means I do not have much money, I believe it builds character, empathy, and adds life to my years. Islander - I live and work on beautiful Vancouver Island in the Pacific Northwest, an excellent backyard to play in. Islanders are laid-back and therefore enjoy the simpler things in life. If you ever decide to visit, be sure to bring a good rain jacket - umbrellas do not work here! Teacher - I am a secondary school humanities teacher. I love teaching and strongly believe that it is one of the most rewarding jobs ever. My religious views are liberal and my faith is powered both by an intellectual curiosity, as well as a traditional upbringing. If you have any further questions, send me a message!
