53, Littleton, COI am a devout Catholic who is involved in high school youth ministry and Respect Life activities. I have also been very involved in music ministry. I love to sing praise and worship songs, play volleyball, and watch football on TV. I have never made the time to have a steady relationship, mainly because I've never settled down in one place long enough to develop that type of relationship. But I have found the place I would like to raise a family, and am looking forward to the search for a suitable life-mate.
60, Littleton, COWhere do I start? Living the Word of God is the driving force in my life. Sound extreme? How can we ever love our Lord too much? Has He limited his love for us? Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. ~ Ps 37:4 RSV I am most passionate about living the word of God. I yearn to overcome the allure of sin and not loving my fellow man to the fullest extent. If you want to partner with me in our pilgrimage to be with Jesus so we can elicit more living the Word of God from each other, together being better disciples than either could unilaterally, respectfully & reverently join me in our pursuit to be most obedient to the Holy Trinity! I'm blessed to have two Perpetual Adoration Chapels equidistant from home before daily mass. I have quite an allegiance to Our Lady & pray the Prayer of Consecration, Chaplet of Divine Mercy & meditate on Her rosary numerous times daily. That notwithstanding, I am a self-employed day trader previously educated with an M.B.A. with Finance emphasis and an undergraduate degree in accounting. Previously lead a team of financial analysts in formulating the 5 year monthly financial forecast of the income statement, earnings per share, balance sheet, & cash flows, all the while reporting said items to the board of directors on various financial and operating scenarios for one of the top ten utilities in the States. I have been divorced 17 years after which the marriage was annulled by the Judicial Vicariate of the Archdiocese of Denver. I have been involved in 8 or 10 ministries & graduated in 2008 from the Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Biblical School. Marriage is my goal but only to that 'special' person. See below. My recreational activites are predominated by alternately swimming and biking. I bike mostly indoors now but I have biked all over Colorado including the Ride the Rockies as well as biking up to Wyoming. My winter activites, in addition to indoor biking and swimming, include snowshoeing. I used to be a telemark instructor but in deference to my knees which have been operated on 12 times from an old football injury eliciting 2 menisectomies when I was fourteen, I now enjoy snowshoeing with my boys.
48, Aurora, COI was born and raised here in Colorado and I'm the youngest of six kids. My brothers and sisters would say I was a bit of a mama's boy, and looking back now, I guess I was. I just prefer to think I was just being agreeable. :) Either way, as an old priest once told me, how men treat their mothers is a good indication of how they will treat their wives. I am very faithful to those I love and I am attracted to people who share this ideal. I've never been married and I do not have any children, but I would like to have a few...children, not marriages. :) I enjoy watching sports (especially the Avs) and going on day trips. I'm quite involved in my parish and my faith is very important to me, but I also have a strange (some would say warped) sense of humor. I suppose some would say that is an odd combination, but it works for me. I'm new to this internet dating thing, so I may need a bit of a nudge to get the ball rolling.
69, Tabernash, COI am a Catholic Widower. My wife passed away 6 years ago. We were happily married 36 years and have 5 children. I have a 15 year old son at home that home schools. I enjoy reading the works of GK Chesterton and others. I enjoy praying the rosary every day and attend daily Mass when I can. I enjoy model railroading and go for walks in the woods. Carol and I taught, Natural Family Planning, (NFP), for nine years, until she died in Jan. 2010. She was 55 years old. NFP teaches true Catholic Marriage that we are to help each other to Heaven, and are to Love each other as God Loves, and that we are to be bi-subjective to each other. Plus lots more.
48, Denver, COI like to cut to the chase and leave the rest to God because honestly the Holy Spirit knows best for me: -- I believe in all of the Church's teachings including being open to starting a new family. -- I am a God fearing gentleman that has faults however each day He helps me to overcome them. -- I don't believe that what we have "in common" is as important as what we want together. People change and so do their tastes in things over time. A vow, however, is a lifetime promise. -- I love my job in HealthCare -- it is a ministry and not just a job. -- I am a traditional family man, analytical, and yet have a creative writing side. -- If you love road trips adventures, hot springs, hiking, wine tasting, sushi, or snow boarding (still learning). we are going to be the best of friends!! -- I can't build a house from ground up, but I am a "jack of all trades" and can do or fix just about anything intellectually obtainable especially in the area of technology. -- Humility, beauty (the good made visible!), and a feminine grace are, among others things, attractive in a woman to me. -- I enjoy cooking healthy dishes especially with seafood. On occasion I do enjoy dining out. I will eat just about anything or at least try it once. I am not picky and enjoy an occasional abstinence or fast particularly during seasons of the Church. -- I would hope for a women that does not mind a balance of intimacy and humor with a guy that is equally serious at times regarding those things that impact matters of family, politics, and the general "good will" of our country. -- I live a simple and humble life. My life is in order and I have no "baggage" or drama holding me back. -- I have a 28 year old son and a couple of beautiful grand-daughters. They live out of state.
26, Boulder, COMy faith and my family are both very important to me; I was raised Catholic and have practiced my faith my whole life. Road biking, hiking, backpacking, and reading are my favorite activities. I am a Colorado native and have lived in the Denver area my entire life. Since starting college, I've lived in Boulder. I graduated from the University of Colorado in 2013 with a BS & MS in computer science and currently work full time as a software engineer. > Hobbies/free time activities I enjoy: - Playing the pipe organ. I've taken lessons two and a half years and practice on my parish's small organ. - Reading, mostly religious non-fiction. I'm currently reading "The Unholy Trinity" by Matt Walsh and "Theology and Sanity" by Frank Sheed. - Road biking - I bike commute to work often (25 mi round trip) and sometimes try longer rides on the weekends (20-70+ miles). - Backpacking and hiking (with an occasional 14er). - Cooking/baking. I like making different kinds of breads in my red KitchenAid mixer. - Occasional photography - Digital but also black and white film. - I'm in the Masters of Theology program at the Augustine Institute in Denver. I'm in the distance ed program so I can work full time, and I'm taking the program one class at a time. I'm very interested in traveling to Europe (I haven't been yet), with intentions to visit a litany of old European cathedrals, Rome, and hiking El Camino. I'm not a very big TV person. A good movie is a solid exception to this, but in general I try to avoid filling the background of my day with media. The same goes for excessive use of mobile phones and the Internet. I prefer to enjoy someone's company in silence or conversation. Generally, I'm the type to prefer taking the time to enjoy making dinner with someone vs. going out. I accept and believe all the teachings of the Catholic Church.
57, Denver, COI'm unique in that I will not waste time with "shallow" interactions. I'm only open to meaningful, honest, and exclusive relationships with like minded people. I'm not concerned with having tons of friends. A few good friends is all I need. I know it's hard to get to know someone by just a few photos and a couple of paragraphs, so if you want to get to know me better you should message me.
36, Parker, COHello There! So I moved to Colorado 12 years ago from the great state of Ohio. Most of my family is still back there but I have really been blessed and I have a great group of very close friends here. I enjoy the outdoors (camping, hiking, fishing, skiing), cooking, trying new restaurants and new foods and I am long do for a road trip to nowhere in particular. I love music and depending on my mood, I can appreciate most genres.
52, Littleton, COGod is first in all things and with God all things fall in place. I'm happy, confident, active and outgoing. I've weathered both the sunshine and storms in life and know I am more compassionate and appreciative for the experiences. I like to cook, travel, watch movies and spend time outdoors. I'd love to discover someone who is truly seeking a LTR. I pray for the partner to extend myself and enlarge my life to do the same for her. Truthfulness and sincerity are of the greatest importance to me. I am a Denver native and love living here.
28, Denver, COI am passionate about surrounding myself with people who build each other up. I believe that though life can be unbearable, surrounding oneself with those who inspire, support you, then happiness follows. I am influenced by family members & friends who embrace the outdoors. Can't turn down hiking, biking, running at Wash Park, slinging a frisbee if you have good hands, or banter with peeps at outdoor rooftop patio socials. I happen to attend Immaculate Conception cathedral on Sundays when possible & that Salve Regina rendition is not bad at all. It can give you goosebumps at the end of mass, until you open the front door. Socializing at happy hour or a more intimate setting works both ways for me, basking under the Colorado sun, absorbing vitamin D or watching the sunset together.
48, Boulder, COMy singular passion, so to speak, is the desire to find out how exactly we--Western Civilization, formerly known as "Christendom"--got to the point, which I call The Catastrophe, so utterly opposed to the Moral Law. I am not scholar, by any stretch, more a street fighter, of sorts, who is struggling to understand the forces of anti-logos that have wreaked such devastation on sanity and truth. Also, I like to bowl.* *not really.
24, Denver, COI love the country, being outdoors, sports, and being active. I grew up in the mountains and will always feel right at home in them. I work in finance, if you want to know more, just ask!
