I am a professional Catholic gentleman looking for a Catholic lady who is interested in having and raising a Catholic family. I have reached a point in my life where feel I am ready for the responsibility and adventure and effort that comes with a Catholic marriage. My faith is important to me and a lady who feels the same would be ideal. I enjoy outdoor activities as well as travel and the arts. I would be willing to travel to the ends of the earth to find that special lady.

I am super passionate about many things including: SAILING (racing a Hobie Cat, as well as camping & cruising on a sailboat up at Lake Dillon/McConnaughy/Union/Chatfield/Cherry Creek/Carter Lake), mountain hikes, doubles sand volleyball. Because I grew up in Roxborough area which borders Pike National Forest, Roxborough State Park, Chatfield Dam, and Arrowhead Golf Course, I spent a lot of time in the wilderness- camping, hiking, and adventurous exploring. I am a great listener, very outgoing, also fearless when it comes to talking to anyone anywhere. Yes, I am super passionate about it is a thinker's sport, not unlike playing chess while in a mountain bike race. A strong faith continues to sustain me, as I explore my spirituality more deeply. I thoroughly love the outdoors...but more than just being there, but to actually stop and breathe in such intricate details as a spray of Scarlet Gilia, or a springy Mariposa Lilly. Ballroom is a blast, and brings me great joy, as well as a bit of Country, with some Swing or Jitterbug stirred in. Waltzes, Polkas, and two steps are a blast.. Would you care to Tango with me? I tend to be super busy as I am always doing a ton of different things, but find that someday SOON would like to find that dynamite woman who is thoroughly passionate about the things she loves doing in her life, to explore, marry, and be open to being blessed with building an awesome family together. I have a reasonable fluency in French as well. In terms of food, I eat just about everything out there, I'm not a picky eater, and love trying new things all the time. I've been lucky that I have a pretty fast metabolism, and therefore burn it off fast.

I teach literacy to all ages. I just resigned from my job as a classroom teacher and have developed my own consulting and tutoring practice that has freed up my mornings to work on my short story collection. But the moments with my students are still the best of my day. Of all the people in the world who know me well--and there are many--none know me better. I am self-actualized in their presence, aware of my good fortune to be in a more exclusive club than the one percenters: I am one of the very few who do exactly what they love most with their life. I am a writer. I take two hours each day to build upon the tools I acquired at the MFA program in fiction at Sarah Lawrence College, where I was blessed to learn from some of my literary heroes. While I hope to be a smashing success someday, I firmly believe that art and commerce are at war. And so, I take my endeavor seriously in the sense that I produce art for art's sake, not for the sake of my building my ego, status, or bank account. The creative process is still sacred to me, and I hope that at the end of my journey, I will be able to say the same. I am a musician, and I play out on the town frequently, though with a diminished passion from years ago. There are only so many hours in a day or week to which I can devote myself to an art form of waning importance to me. Still, I enjoy performing and collaborating with strong minds and skilled players, but more as a hobby than anything else. I am a family man, in the sense that, over my twenty nine years, I have fallen repeatedly to the common folly of thinking that anything in life besides family will remain permanent. I am in regular contact with my home base. Though it is far from here, I hold it close in my thoughts. I am a friend to many, but increasingly, I am searching for that one truest friend I hope to share my life with as I could with no one else. Hence, I am here.

My faith and my family are both very important to me; I was raised Catholic and have practiced my faith my whole life. Road biking, hiking, backpacking, and reading are my favorite activities. I am a Colorado native and have lived in the Denver area my entire life. Since starting college, I've lived in Boulder. I graduated from the University of Colorado in 2013 with a BS & MS in computer science and currently work full time as a software engineer. > Hobbies/free time activities I enjoy: - Playing the pipe organ. I've taken lessons two and a half years and practice on my parish's small organ. - Reading, mostly religious non-fiction. I'm currently reading "The Unholy Trinity" by Matt Walsh and "Theology and Sanity" by Frank Sheed. - Road biking - I bike commute to work often (25 mi round trip) and sometimes try longer rides on the weekends (20-70+ miles). - Backpacking and hiking (with an occasional 14er). - Cooking/baking. I like making different kinds of breads in my red KitchenAid mixer. - Occasional photography - Digital but also black and white film. - I'm in the Masters of Theology program at the Augustine Institute in Denver. I'm in the distance ed program so I can work full time, and I'm taking the program one class at a time. I'm very interested in traveling to Europe (I haven't been yet), with intentions to visit a litany of old European cathedrals, Rome, and hiking El Camino. I'm not a very big TV person. A good movie is a solid exception to this, but in general I try to avoid filling the background of my day with media. The same goes for excessive use of mobile phones and the Internet. I prefer to enjoy someone's company in silence or conversation. Generally, I'm the type to prefer taking the time to enjoy making dinner with someone vs. going out. I accept and believe all the teachings of the Catholic Church.

I am a Research Scientist working at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Boulder, CO. It's been fun living out here in Colorado. Graduated in 2015 with my PhD in atmospheric science. During my free time, I enjoy going hiking, swimming, skiing, playing tennis, racquetball, biking, table tennis, being with my family and friends, hosting game nights, volunteering in the community, and being involved at my church. I've recently gotten involved in teaching religious education at my church and volunteering at Children's hospitals and that has been a great joy.

I am happiest when everyone around me is happy. I love cooking for/feeding people as much as your average grandmother. I enjoy activities that require being in good shape. Oreos are my secret weakness. I never buy them, because I just eat the whole bag in a single go. I like my vacations only loosely planned, to leave plenty of room for improvisation. I am probably better than anyone else you know at baking pies and making paper airplanes. I'm more introverted than extroverted, but fall nearer the middle of the spectrum than either extreme. I used to be completely terrified of public speaking and of dancing, but find I am enjoying both more and more as I get older (still terrible at dancing, though). I love trying new things. My favorite hobby is collecting new hobbies. Amongst others, and in no particular order, here are a number of hobbies I really enjoy: - Skiing (downhill and water/slalom) - Running - Hiking - Backpacking - Playing Board Games - Reading (especially classic literature, non-fiction, and science fiction) - Cooking/Baking - Mountain Biking - ALL Racquet Sports - Helping Plants Grow

I am passionate about my faith, family, and health and fitness. I'm from a family of 7, I love to hike and be outdoors, workout, play sports, and spend time with good people. I like to go see movies, putt-putt, bowl, and all sorts of stuff like that. I am looking into becoming a physical therapist in the future.

I'm originally from Indianapolis. I moved to Colorado three years ago for an engineering job but also because I fell in love with the mountains. I'm a bit introverted and have struggled to find Catholic friends since moving to Boulder. So now I'm looking for a relationship that will strengthen my faith and bring me closer to God. I spend most of my time outside of work hiking, skiing and rock climbing.

Half coffee shop hipster, half rugged carpenter (that's right, just like Jesus). My favorite pastimes include staring pensively out of windows and charming others with a bitingly sarcastic demeanor. I have a deep love of 19th century German poetry, which I will convince you is exactly as exciting as it sounds. Few things give me as much joy as sharing a cup of coffee on Saturday mornings with my friend Dale, an elderly man that lives in my neighborhood and schools me on all things related to life and love. Also, if you aren't sold yet, I happen to have a nice bookshelf that smells of rich mahogany and has many leather bound books, which are begging to be perused at a leisurely pace.

My singular passion, so to speak, is the desire to find out how exactly we--Western Civilization, formerly known as "Christendom"--got to the point, which I call The Catastrophe, so utterly opposed to the Moral Law. I am not scholar, by any stretch, more a street fighter, of sorts, who is struggling to understand the forces of anti-logos that have wreaked such devastation on sanity and truth. Also, I like to bowl.* *not really.
