I'm very passionate about my faith. I love to attend Mass and spend time with other Catholics. I'm very open to hanging out with people of all faiths but feel a lot more comfort around those who believe in God/ Jesus. I love sports and play recently for a Catholic sports group which is great. I'm definitely a movie and foodie type as well. Cooking is also one of my favorite things to do, especially for others. I have a 6 year old son as well so a lot of my time is spent being a dad. Not being married was nothing I would've planned but made the decision to do my best and be the best father I can be. I'm very blessed to have a great family and friends.

I am a professional Catholic gentleman looking for a Catholic lady who is interested in having and raising a Catholic family. I have reached a point in my life where feel I am ready for the responsibility and adventure and effort that comes with a Catholic marriage. My faith is important to me and a lady who feels the same would be ideal. I enjoy outdoor activities as well as travel and the arts. I would be willing to travel to the ends of the earth to find that special lady.

Thanks for reading my profile! I'm originally from Maryland, and moved to Boulder to work on a PhD at CU. My faith has always been important to me, and I attended Catholic schools my whole life until grad school. I love sports, am a die hard Notre Dame fan, and am a proud uncle! Anything else, please ask!

My faith and my family are both very important to me; I was raised Catholic and have practiced my faith my whole life. Road biking, hiking, backpacking, and reading are my favorite activities. I am a Colorado native and have lived in the Denver area my entire life. Since starting college, I've lived in Boulder. I graduated from CU in Dec '13 with a MS in computer science and currently work full time as a software engineer. > Hobbies/free time activities I enjoy: - Playing the pipe organ. I've taken lessons a year and a half and practice on my parish's small organ. - Reading, both fiction and nonfiction. Anything by Peter Kreeft, Scott Hahn, and the like piques my interest. My favorite Kreeft book is "The Snakebite Letters," an acknowledged rewrite of CS Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters." I'm currently working on "Catholic Bioethics and the Gift of Human Life," "The Count of Monte Cristo," and "Scripture Matters." - Road biking - I bike to work often (25 mi round trip) and sometimes try longer rides on the weekends (20-70+ miles). I rode 3650 miles last year, mostly commuting. - Backpacking and hiking. I'm fairly convinced this is a prerequisite to living in Boulder. - Cooking/baking. I like making different kinds of breads in my red KitchenAid mixer. - Occasional photography - Digital and film black and white. I'm fascinated with developing black and white film. > Hobbies/things to do on the bucket list: - Obtaining a private pilot's license. Unfortunately this one proves to a little harder to justify. :) - I've been interested in backpacking Europe for a couple weeks to visit Rome and as many cathedrals as I can. Planning for summer of 2016, potentially also or alternatively hiking a portion of El Camino. I'm not a very big TV person. A good movie is a solid exception to this, but in general I try to avoid filling the background of my day with media. The same goes for excessive use of mobile phones and the Internet. (This is coming from a guy with BS and MS in computer science). I prefer to enjoy someone's company in silence or conversation. Generally, I'm the type to prefer taking the time to enjoy making dinner with someone vs. going out. I accept and believe all the teachings of the Catholic Church.

"Verbally there is very general agreement; for both the general run of men and people of superior refinement say that it is happiness, and identify living well and doing well with being happy; but with regard to what happiness is they differ, and the many do not give the same account as the wise. For the former think it is some plain and obvious thing, like pleasure, wealth, or honour; they differ, however, from one another- and often even the same man identifies it with different things, with health when he is ill, with wealth when he is poor; but, conscious of their ignorance, they admire those who proclaim some great ideal that is above their comprehension." Nicomachean Ethics "[M]en's spirits are susceptible to certain influences, diffused, after the manner of streams or currents, by fair things or persons visibly present- green fields, for instance, or children's faces- into the air around them, acting, in the case of some peculiar natures, like potent material essences, and conforming the seer to themselves as with some cunning physical necessity." I am happiest when everyone around me is happy. I love cooking for/feeding people as much as your average grandmother. I enjoy activities that require being in good shape. Oreos are my secret weakness. I never buy them, because I just eat the whole bag in a single go. I like my vacations only loosely planned, to leave plenty of room for improvisation. I am probably better than anyone else you know at baking pies and making paper airplanes. I'm more introverted than extroverted, but fall nearer the middle of the spectrum than either extreme. I used to be completely terrified of public speaking and of dancing, but find I am enjoying both more and more as I get older (still terrible at dancing, though). I love trying new things. My favorite hobby is collecting new hobbies. Amongst others, and in no particular order, here are a number of hobbies I really enjoy: - Skiing (downhill and water/slalom) - Running - Hiking - Backpacking - Playing Board Games - Reading (especially classic literature, non-fiction, and science fiction) - Cooking/Baking - Mountain Biking - ALL Racquet Sports - Helping Plants Grow

On a typical Friday night I am: Trying to figure out the major and minor products when 1-bromo-2-propene reacts with potassium tert-butoxide. Either that or partying like a rock star. The most private thing I am willing to admit: I wear a special cologne. Its called Sex Panther by Odeon. Its illegal in nine countriesand its made with bits of real panther, so you know its good.
