I spent 25 years as an aerospace engineer. I also spent 5 years at my old college teaching in the Business Department. I like to travel both in this country and abroad. I enjoy sports but it's lots more fun with a partner. My son and I purchased a home together and I live up while he lives down. I attend mass weekly and served as an usher at my last church for many years. I like to sit with someone in the living room, talking and listening to good music.

After being on another web site, I decided that my faith is extremely important and I want a Catholic woman in my life, preferably nearby. That being said, I have an goofy sense of humor and can laugh at many things. Music, reading, writing, selective TV watching, movies, and yard work occupy my time. A lifelong exerciser (now mostly walking), I have been limited lately due to back issues, which I am addressing soon. It is good for us to both have our own interests so the time spent together is special. I am big on, not just conversing, but meeting face to face. Out of state relationships are not for me. Even the drive to/from Denver is getting to be uncomfortable due to the numerous texters/phoners on the road. My wife of many years came down with early onset Alzheimer's, and for 10 years, my life was devoted to making her as happy as possible. For recreation, I did a furniture drive for the poor and sent 94 trucks full to Pine Ridge/Rosebud Reservations, then for the local poor. We (The Little Woman) and I sang in church for decades, weddings, but mostly funerals. People were dying to hear us sing. (Uff dah!) Since she has been gone, I sometimes sing in restaurants. Oldies, country, classics. I trip the light fantastic - and I also like dancing, but it has been some time. A Medjugorje pilgrimage changed my life, and I try to get to daily Mass and pray the daily rosary - and more. Ideally, the woman whom God brings to me will have her own interests to pursue, so that when we come together, we can share those things. I am generally a night owl, but my wife was a lark, so it worked well. I had my quiet time at night and she had hers in the morning. Whatever. Long distance relationships are out of the question; and I only consider profiles with photos. Sorry for being shallow, but there must be some physical attraction. God Bless.

Hi! I am a semi-retired business professional, having grown up in a small Catholic farming community in the Midwest. I migrated to Colorado for education and career and over the years raised a family of six, mostly as a single parent. I am healthy, fit and energetic and enjoy having and seeing friends, laughing, and spending time with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy sports and getting outside taking hikes or going to the mountains. I have a strong interest in history, love to travel, and have a desire to visit all of our nation's National Parks and Civil War battlefield sites. I would like to take a cruise now and then and visit foreign countries. I want to share these things and my life with an honest, sincere, compatible and loving Soul Mate.

I moved back to Colorado one and a half years ago. I live with my granddaughter who is the most important person in my life right now. I enjoy going to church every Sunday and then going out to Lunch with Sarah (granddaughter). I like to watch Football on Sunday afternoon but can give it up if something better comes along. I come from a large family and enjoy spending time with them when I am able. I have worked in restaurants all my life and continue to manage a restaurant. I enjoy movies and books.

I am a Cradle Catholic who lives in a lovely home close to my parish. The St. Paul parish welcomes a variety of Catholics and I attend 8 a.m. Mass each Sunday. What I enjoy most is the camaraderie of my fellow parishioners and the very excellent members of our clergu.

I like my work and get a high just talking to people, very easy going, again love talking to people, i like everyone, never hit a women or talked bad to them. Looking for someone that full of life, thinks of the glass being half full, likes to smile and treat all people like they would be wanted to be treated. Did like reading the self help books over the years. Not as much leisure time as i would want.

I'm a revert to the faith and since returning 10 years ago, my faith and involvement in my local parish are a big part of my life. I am involved with a number of ministries including teaching RCIA. I have adult step-children from my previous marriage and am involved in their lives although only one still lives in Colorado. I go to a lot of concerts usually at Red Rocks and the Paramount, like watching movies either at home or in the theater and like road trips.

I have traveled the Western US as well as the western provinces of Canada extensively. Most of that travel involved RVing and camping, which I still hope to continue. Currently I spend a great deal of time fishing at areas near my home. I always have one or more books I'm reading--usually fiction. Doing the daily Sudokos and crossword puzzles help keep my mind in what I call the " middle/old age" phase. I greatly enjoy outdoor concerts, festivals and watching sporting events either on TV or in person. Golf has consumed way more of my life than perhaps any other activity although I'm just now trying to get back to it. My loving wife of 57 years was by far the most influential person significant in shaping my adult life. As a high school student I maintained friendships with several of the priests who taught in the high school I attended. Their influence molded me into a "Catholic for life"![?] I retired from a position in education in 1992. Since then I've been splitting time between an Arizona winter home and a summer residence in Colorado. My dear wife developed Alzheimer's seven years ago. Due to her fairly recent death I've gone from being a 24/7 caregiver to currently unemployed. I feel I'm coping fairly well with my mourning process, but as expected I have those occasional lapses of sadness or perhaps better stated, despair. God has blessed me with a tremendous array of loving family relationships. I've been equally blessed with relatively good/great health although I am the proud owner of four phony joints. I don't consume alcoholic beverages, but I don't mind others who enjoy social drinking. I do however find smoking irritating at best and unacceptable at worst! I think I tell way too many " fascinating" stories about happenings in my life--some of which are actually true![?] A priest friend from my youth always reminded me to"Keep The Faith" -- consequently I encourage you to do so also!
