65, Manzanola, COIt may not be as important what describes my likes, dislikes, experiences, and accomplishments as much as it is that, through the course of about six decades of life, I, as you, have survived the ups and downs of this Journey! Most of my adult life was spent in the service of others as a therapist in a psychiatric hospital, on an acute, locked evaluation team. (Have been hit, bitten, spat upon, lost teeth from being assaulted, and have had every bodily fluid one can think of thrown at me!) " Retired" now, just trying to stay afloat in these times. As a child, 'army brat', I traveled and lived with my family from Colorado, to Germany, to South Carolina, to Missouri, with several returns to, and grounding myself in, Colorado. The rhetorical question of the day, 'Do I wait at the top of the Empire State Building, hoping for my Love to meet me there? . . . Do I have the patience of St. Monica to know Cary Grant finally ended up in the arms of Deborah Kerr? . . . Or, not?' Not in the habit of taking pics of myself, so may update with some more later. Although starting as a blonde, hair color now is a mix of blonde, gray, dark, and 'balding'! For-the-record, if I haven't noted before, if I don't answer any messages asap, do not think me disrespectful. My monthly budget determines my active/paid status herein. So, emotigrams are not a sign of carelessness, but rather that I'm not currently paid up. Thanx and Prayers!
46, Grand Junction, COI'm a statistics professor at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Co. I grew up in St. Louis and went to Vianney High School & St. Mary's University in San Antonio. I'm a well rounded individual. I played college soccer, play the piano, and enjoy campus ministry work. Currently I play lots of golf in the summer while ski in the winter. I help with the Newmann Center at Colorado Mesa. I try to be a roll model like the brothers, priests, and lay Marianists (Society of Mary) were to me. If you live in Denver I'd love to meet halfway on the slopes in Vail or Beaver Creek! I do travel to the front range as well as Salt Lake so don't let distance be a barrier.
28, Alamosa, COThis is not the first time I've tried using CM. I'll be honest, I haven't had the best experiences on here. I've learned that are some disadvantages to the online forum, but there are some good components as well. So why am I back? Good question. Leave it to say that God hasn't given up on me, so I am trying to act in kind. Second, I live and work in a small town setting. There are definitely pluses and minuses to living and working in a rural area (I have lived in both the country and city). That said, it is rather difficult for me to meet single women, especially practicing Catholic women. I will be upfront and just say that I am first and foremost, looking for like-minded friends. If romance blossoms, fantastic, but that isn't the end all be all for me. I am at least committed for a year or two to my current geographical location for employment purposes. Third, a little about me: I am a Southern California transplant living and working in Southern Colorado (Southern Colorado was not my first choice, I was trying to move to the Denver/CO Springs area, but God has a funny way of only opening certain doors. However, I have been pleasantly surprised living 40 miles outside of Alamosa). I decided to move to Colorado for several reasons, one of which being my passion for the great outdoors. Hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, etc. I plan on starting fly fishing soon. I've never hunted before, but that is next on my list. I grew up in a small mountain town then later on a vineyard. I attended college in Los Angeles where I majored in English (so yeah, I'm an English nerd. But hey, it's better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit, right? haha). After college I attended law school in Orange County. Some other random facts: I have a Basset Hound named MacDuff, I brew beer, and like to work on muscle cars. I taught guitar lessons professionally while in college and still like to play today. I also enjoy cooking, especially Italian (Ok, I admit I am also Italian but cooking is one of the best stress relievers out there!) There is always more to say, but I think that is enough for now. Cheers!

52, Grand Junction, COI am charming man, with very humorous and happy character, very communicative and friendly. My nature is giving, energetic, opened and very loving. With people I am warm and sincere, I turn things into joke, but can be reserved when situation requires. I have agreeable character but with some spice. ;-))) I am very masculine and they say it is everywhere about me. I value friendship and real relationship most of all. I am romantic and believe in true romance and love from the first sight. Sometimes I might be very naive as a man. I am looking for someone who is genuine and sincere and wants to build a relationship; someone who is dependable. I am open minded when it comes to the right match for me as I think if we have similar values and outlooks on things that is key to making a relationship work. One thing that attracts me to a person is if they are a good conversationalist and intelligent. I like someone who is a good listener and wants to hear my point of view. We may not always agree on things but that is okay and actually I find that a bit challenging in a positive way. I also think if my match and I have good conflict resolution skills that are key. Getting along and resolving arguments positively are critical I think to any healthy relationship. In my spare time I love watching movies, television, listening to music, singing, reading, writing poems, swimming, i also love to play golf and some field games too, camping and watch sporting games and a whole lot other things to make me busy and don't lonely. I like to travel and i think i have been a good traveler and better one. I also love sitting by a fire and watching the night sky. I love to cook all types of food but I have no one to share a meal with, so I cook only when I have to. I'll stop here for now and look forward to communicate with you after reading.
