I think I consider myself as a caring, generous, loyal, honest, healthy, active, and a true person. Some things that inspire me are the lessons and the experiences of learning about my faith, personal developement, business and management. The outdoors are a great source of recreation for me where I am often fullfilled and spend a portion of my free time. I like to hike, cycle, ski, and scuba. I try appreciate and enjoy life and look to see the presence of Jesus in those I encounter.

I like to travel. I regularly attend cultural events; the symphony, plays, concerts. I have been widowed for 8 years.

After reading about the Church for several years and attending Mass for two years, I entered the Church on the Easter Vigil 2007. My friends and family, mostly evangelical, are having a hard time understanding this, but I hope they will come to understand it soon. On to more mundane things. Some of the things I like to do are read, play golf, and play tennis. (Mostly I read Catholic stuff: Ratzinger (now Benedict), Hahn, Ronald Knox, John Paul II, etc.)

These "Tell Us About Yourself" are always interesting to fill out! I'm 27 and I work for the City and County of Denver in the Department of Aviation doing Airfield and Runway Maintenance. Aside from that I'm also a volunteer firefighter in Elbert County and hope to serve in the Public Safety Field someday. I'm the oldest of 3 and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for my family or friends. I've spent the last 13 years being involved with youth programs either with the Boy Scouts as a Camp Staff Member or through Youth Ministry as an adult leader at the Church I attend. In my free time I'll go backpacking, mountain biking, or a ride on the Harley in the summer months, or skiing or snowmobiling in the winter (I'll try snowboarding if someone is willing to teach). I'll do almost anything once, if it was fun I'll do it again. If you want to know more......all you have to do is ask!!

I like to read, play my guitar, sing, ride my motorcycle, hike, kayak...especially playing guitar and singing! I love to watch people. I am honest and fun loving, looking for fun and adventure wherever I find myself. I love to help others, nurture their spirits, help them to see the good in themselves as well as the good all round them. Like many fortunate others, I am Catholic by choice as well as birth. I can't imagine being anything else. I'm fairly literate, imaginative, have travelled to other parts of the world as scholar, soldier, and tourist. My favorite role was that of scholar. I feel like I have been blessed with the seven greatest children in the world!! I like children and teaching and nurturing them...challenging them to think...facilitating an appreciation of true humor in life! (OK, so occasionally I throw in a little warped irony.) If my partner wanted to have another child I would be open to it. I enjoy immensely making my partner happy!! And really a person is responsible for their own happiness, but we can help create the contexts and share in the experience. I LOVE live theater!! Especially musicals!! I like concerts of all kinds, and have an affinity for all the arts. It would be fun to find a partner who might be interested in taking some acting lessons, or singing lessons, or perhaps dancing lessons together. I like to write and am working on a book of my life to leave as a legacy to my children. As I started it, I just couldn't resist putting down the sense of adventure that greeted every day, every experience. Being the people they are, I think they will readily understand! Three of the four oldest have made their first sky-dives! I love old movies, shared moments by a fire when the wind is blustering outside. As I have mentioned, one of my passions is MUSIC! I had the experience of a lifetime a couple of years ago with my daughter meeting and sharing his birthday with Randy Sparks, Director and founder of the New Christy Minstrels. We were 2 of the four people sharing the entire weekend! If you aren't familiar with his music, please give me the pleasure of introducing it to you!(Think, "This Land is Your Land" or "Green, Green"!) I really, really do love music...of all kinds...folk to classical! Have to warn you, though. I think I've discovered I'm a hard core romantic and a real sucker for musical theater, especially the classics!

Hello, I am a pretty easy going person and can be quiet at times. I was born and raised in ME and have moved around a bit. I have been in the Denver area for just under 2 years now. I'm always looking to meet some new people. I feel all good relationships start as friendships. If things turn into more in the future, that is great! I work for an airline and love to travel. I am often working long odd hours and when I am not working I tend to be traveling. I just got back from an overnight trip to London, and I am always planning my next get a way. One of the perks of the industry i guess! If i am not in a random city, you can find me home relaxing. I like to ski and am really enjoy watching hockey, on TV or in person. I hope to get to know you!

My relationship with God is always evolving, changing, growing,I know that God has a plan and purpose for me. I'm still searching to find just what that is, but isn't that part of what life is meant to be. I have a mild case of Cerebral Palsy and I believe in being upfront, open and honest about this from the start. I use a wheelchair and crutches or a cane to get around. I am still very active and have never let my CP get in my way. I can be a little shy at first but will usually warm up to you quickly. I am really open to getting to know new people and welcome any questions. I am a social person and I can handle doing many different things , everything from church pinics to candle light dinners, fundraisers to a quiet night at home. I hope you take the time to know me better, you wont be sorry, Peace

Always have a lot to say about everything I guess! Life thus far has been a interesting journey with ups and downs. I've made mistakes in my life, but then again no one is perfect. I did the full parochial tour from 1st grade though high school. I have had many inspirational teachers and priests instill ideals I still hold on to even in this day. I have had faith, lost it, and have come back around again. It seems talking about God or Jesus seems taboo anymore. I ain't a bible thumper or Jesus freak by any means. Free time and enjoyment is a odd experience for me, as for many years it was clouded by pleasures of a sinful life. At this point I enjoy goofy simple things like walks, adventure drives, and just good meaningful conversation. It seems that my next calling in life is to increase my faith, and hopefully enter relationship having a mutual catholic faith as the cornerstone of it.
