62, Branford, CTA nice guy, who looks young for my age. I enjoy sports, primarily Professional Football (Giants), Professional Baseball (Yankees), and College Basketball (Syracuse Orangemen). I enjoy competitive things, like cards, or on-line games. I am in insurance sales, and enjoy helping people. At times, I can be a home-body, and at times I enjoy traveling and site-seeing. I go to the gym regularly, and enjoy golfing, when I get a chance.
34, Andover, CTI'm a systems engineer in the aerospace industry. I enjoy the outdoors and reading a good book. Many years ago, the notion of a man and a woman meeting, befriending one another, and choosing to spend their lives together was simple, effective, normal, and just seemed right. The world has become increasingly complex in the last 50 years, and it truly is not the same world that our parents grew up in. I hold to being moral, and making right choices. It is my hope that there exists a young lady who lives in the world, but is not of the world. Someone who is active both in mind and body, disciplined, and interested in making solid life choices. I believe that God has put us here for a higher purpose than merely being born, living life, and dying. It is my hope that I have a counterpart that sees existence in a similar way.
33, Guilford, CTIt's been some time since I updated this, so here goes! My name is Andy and I moved to the Atlanta area January, 2013 and am looking to meet someone who is my "catholic- match" (corny, I know. But most women love a guy with humor ;)). I'm very interested in working with computer graphics in my spare time as well as an avid reader of theology and history. My passions lie in the arts and I enjoy getting involved with a creative project with like-minded folks who love what they do. While I'm not too big of a party-person, I do enjoy making friends and picking people's brains to see what they're about. Other interests include science-fiction, fantasy, anime, and many other aspects of geek culture. One thing I really enjoy are collecting art books that have character model sheets, concept artwork for movies and video games, etc. While I'm not heavily interested in sports, I don't mind the prospect of going to a Braves or Falcons game and enjoy playing soccer when it's not too hot out. I make it a point to get some exercise in during the week even if it's 20-30 minutes on the treadmill and typically avoid buying junk food. I wouldn't classify myself as a health nut per se, but the best way to avoid temptation is to eliminate it in the first place.
65, Westbrook, CTI am seeking a companion who would enjoy building a relationship around common interests and the desire to find support in the day to day pastimes with one another. I live in a mobile home by the sea and have had challenges with depression which is mostly under control. I am passionate about pro life interests, our faith, and writing. I enjoy yard work and going for walks. Pleasant moments include reading by the sea late in the afternoon. I enjoy gathering with groups and traveling to places like the Divine Mercy Center. You could also find me enjoying an occasional journey back to Boston, where I loved living for ten years or New York which is like no other place I've ever been. Did I say I like writing?? I did self publish a book of poetry. Participating in pro life work has been extensive in my life but these days, I tend to provide prayer support and behind the scenes support. Yes, watching and cheering for Boston sports teams is something I enjoy very much. I love the Traditional Latin Mass and find reverently praying the Mass reveals refreshing spiritual gems reverberating inside nearly every Sunday. I find, in following the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church, great solace in this day and age when our culture is aimlessly following the precepts of our fallen nature. Please respect this request. If you are divorced and your marriage has not been annulled, I hope, in charity, you will seek your annulment. We cannot seek a relationship if you do not have an annulment. God bless you and guide you and thank you for your interest in me.
55, Watertown, CTNote: I am taking a break from CM as of early September '16. I am a happy, honest person with a true zest for life. I have a good sense of humor and relish quality time spent with good friends and family. I love to swing dance, and one day will actually master it! I am well-educated and athletic. I enjoy doing many outdoor activities, listening to music, donning the duds and going out, or just sitting by the fire on a rainy day with my honey. I am a 'contented' guy, and am most happy when those around me are happy too. I grew up in a small town north of NYC and my recent relocation back to my roots in the northeast has been so great! To be back with family after 20 years in Chicago due to a work transfer has been a blessing! I've missed many years with my parents, sisters, and niblings (my word for nieces and nephews). I consider it the greatest privilege of my life so far to have been able to cater daily to my Dad as he struggled with Alzheimer's Disease three of these last years. While he is now with God, I carry his goodness and love in my heart every day. I adore the innocence of children and would so thoroughly enjoy welcoming children into a marriage. I enjoy traveling, spontaneous weekend trips (Cape Cod is my favorite), and a great variety of activities. I have been told that my youth of spirit belies my physical age, and I hope it always does. I always feel young; and I am forever hopeful and alive in life, which I attribute to my faith which guides all that I do. I have a very creative side which is where I get my drive in finding a run-down home, rehabbing it, and adding positively to its neighborhood again. My other side is my scientific side, which is good for analytics. I happily report that my creative side is where my fun, joyful, loving side "resides" - thank goodness! :) I am interested in an eventually serious relationship, beginning with friendship, and ask any ladies who might read this to prayerfully consider the same; I look forward to the time when I carry thoughts of my intended in my heart every moment, singing a prayer of thanksgiving to our Lord with its every beat, and living a life with her committed jointly toward a godly goal. At my core, I am a simple man who believes that the best way to praise God is through a life well-lived. I feel that the best in life is yet to come. God bless us on our journey!
34, Stamford, CT
26, Stamford, CTI enjoy learning and sharing my knowledge and faith with others. In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, running, hiking, traveling, breaking bread with family and friends, and discussing world events and politics. I am very thankful to God everyday for my health, the blessings of a college education and a good career, and a loving family.
62, Glastonbury, CTJust checking this site. I am a Christian and seeking a spiritual companion. I am not interested in changing my faith or asking someone to change theirs.
25, Morris, CTIf you're interested, you can read the brief write-up I have below. But I really prefer getting to know people face to face. Different aspects of people have influenced different aspects of my life. The epistles of St. Paul have given me encouragement and feelings of warmth in times of trouble: he often speaks of our union with Christ in both death and rebirth. These writings remind me to unite my suffering with that of Christ, always remembering the Life to come if I "finish the race" by the grace of God. St. Louis de Montfort, along with some other saints, present to me the idea of being a brilliant artist while being faithful to God; I have an admiration for writers and enjoy learning of their backgrounds, but often find disappointment in discovering their promiscuity and lack of Faith. St. Louis de Montfort was gifted with artistic talents (poetry, wood carving, and music) and used it for the sake of portraying the beauty of God and evangelization. Finally, I often derive inspirations of courage in fictional heroes. This may sound strange, but it is a valid point if you examine it: Spider-Man has always been a personal favorite of mine (definitely my man-crush if I had to choose one), for instance. The message of Spider-Man 2 (the film, of course) is: "Sometimes, in order to do what's right, we have to give up the thing we want the most." A very potent message to be sure, and undoubtedly relevant to a practicing Catholic in today's world. Consider another example in the character of Ebenezer Scrooge: here we find a character deeply rooted in sin and moroseness, seemingly without hope. But, by the grace of God, he repents of all his wrong-doings and focuses the rest of his life doing good. These characters, though fictional, iterate true ideals which have the potential to enlighten us in dark periods.
