I am a laid-back, easy going person; I like good conversation and am just as comfortable hanging out at home, going out to dinner or reading a book; I love to do things outdoors, especially going to any beach and beach towns; I also like to write, hike, read, study and work out. The job description did not have my category; I am an Archivist and love working with anything historical or antique such as old photographs or films. I hope that some of my answers to the faith questions are not misleading. I love our Catholic religion and it has helped me in so many ways. I am also a loyal and sincere person - that's how friends of mine have described me.
  • Dennis, 51 from Portland, CT
    51, Portland, CT
My name is Dennis. My interest are hiking, biking, anything outdoors, and camping. Enjoy going out for a nice dinner or cooking on the grill and relaxing in the backyard. I have a 12 yr old son whom is on the honor roll in his class and plays sports (basketball and baseball). I consider myself easygoing and open minded. I think I am much better in person than my profile. I am a animal lover. I have a beautiful golden retriever, one cat and a chicken. Love to try new restaurants and traveling in New England. So perhaps you may take a moment of your time and we can have a coffee or glass of wine together. Nothing loss maybe something gained for both of us.

  • David, 65 from Westbrook, CT
    65, Westbrook, CT
I am seeking a companion who would enjoy building a relationship around common interests and the desire to find support in the day to day pastimes with one another. I live in a mobile home by the sea and have had challenges with depression which is mostly under control. I am passionate about pro life interests, our faith, and writing. I enjoy yard work and going for walks. Pleasant moments include reading by the sea late in the afternoon. I enjoy gathering with groups and traveling to places like the Divine Mercy Center. You could also find me enjoying an occasional journey back to Boston, where I loved living for ten years or New York which is like no other place I've ever been. Did I say I like writing?? I did self publish a book of poetry. Participating in pro life work has been extensive in my life but these days, I tend to provide prayer support and behind the scenes support. Yes, watching and cheering for Boston sports teams is something I enjoy very much. I love the Traditional Latin Mass and find reverently praying the Mass reveals refreshing spiritual gems reverberating inside nearly every Sunday. I find, in following the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church, great solace in this day and age when our culture is aimlessly following the precepts of our fallen nature. Please respect this request. If you are divorced and your marriage has not been annulled, I hope, in charity, you will seek your annulment. We cannot seek a relationship if you do not have an annulment. God bless you and guide you and thank you for your interest in me.

As for me, I'm 60, 5' 6, 150 lbs., exercise daily, and my personality type E/INFP, the Champion/Healer Idealist (rare personality type for men, so I'm told), actually explains why I'm enthusiastic, talkative, outgoing, kind, normal, considered a true friend one can always rely on and confide in, patient, clever, curious, helpful, balanced, playful, deeply passionate, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, sensitive, loving and dedicated to those close to me, creative, thankful, resilient, original, thorough, with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men, caring, imaginative, highly innovative, resolute, optimistic, mild mannered, unique, compassionate, adaptable, joyful, goal oriented, for truth justice and the American way, open minded, resourceful, never ever give up, loved by young and old and animals, flexible in small matters, idealistic, reliable, altruistic, Team player, funny, relentless, empathic (just may be my sixth sense), handy, nonconforming, single and never married, would love to be in a forever loving everlasting relationship, modest, liberally minded, always true to myself and always true to my faith beliefs and values. Yes, all that and more! But seriously, why go overboard when I may simply quote the great philosopher, Popeye the Sailor Man: I'am what I'am an' tha's all I'am. Irish and Eastern European and have both Irish (EU) and United States (US) citizenship and passports. Born and raised in beautiful rural Northeastern Connecticut, the Quiet Corner. Lived and worked in San Francisco, California awhile ago and now back in Connecticut. Love tropical sunshine as well as the snow in the mountains in the winter and the beach in the summer time. Like to play sports rather than just watch. Really enjoy cooking. Always looking to check out what's happening near and far. Finally tonight ... Spring is coming! A time for us to get out there in the sunshine and breathe the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful weather together. 'Til then ... Peace and "Love is the answer" (Special Thanks to The Supremes, Jiminy Cricket, Nick Lowe, John Lennon, and The Good Lord Jesus Christ Himself for the use of their quotations.)

I am a mechanical engineer and I enjoy how interesting the field is and the challenges it presents. I moved to CT about three years ago for a career oportunity and really like my job so far. Family and friends are an important part of my life, and I like to stay in close contact with them. I like helping people and am always willing to lend a hand. I enjoy learning new things, whether its a new topic for work or how to refinish a wood floor. I like to think I have a good sense of humor, but I guess everyone says that. I'm fairly shy at first, but I open up the more I get to know people. I like to stay active and enjoy biking, swimming, hiking, and playing volleyball. I'm always looking for something new to try; I think it keeps life interesting. I enjoy traveling (when I have the time) and have been to Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria. I'd like to go back to Germany in the future, as well as Alaska, Australia, and a bunch of the national parks out west.

I'm an accomplished man that is looking to find someone who is my equal. I have a good job, my own house, and generally speaking a really great life. For the future, I want to grow as a person and experience all the world has to offer. I'm looking for a partner to share in this adventure. I would describe myself as a jack of all trades; half nerd / half car-guy. I am independent, driven, passionate, caring and still believe in chivalry. I am good at making people laugh and enjoy cooking. Prefer wine/whiskey over beer Born and raised in an Italian household in New York, I graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell. Moved to CT in 2010 for work and been here ever since. I love my job and the people I work with are great. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and getting back into running(form XC runner). Enjoy going for bicycle and motorcycle rides. Sad the nice weather is ending and that I have to put them both into storage soon. ENTJ
  • Andrew, 28 from Vernon Rockville, CT
    28, Vernon Rockville, CT
I've truly come to believe Christ's assurance that He wants to give us life in abundance. In Him, and in the years since my conversion, I have found more joy, excitement, laughter, and reasons to get choked up than I dreamt possible. My faith is the most important part of my life and I'm praying God to introduce me to a woman who wants to grow together in Jesus Christ. I'm looking for a partner and best friend who will be part of that three-person relationship with God. I'm also a fifth-year, high school history teacher and have worked at a summer camp for the past eight years. I love what I do. I get to work with kids and form meaningful relationships with them in our discussions about history. They've already made me want to be a father in many ways. Most of all, I am essentially paid to learn for a living, and this is what I am happy to say that I spend my time doing inside and outside of the classroom. When I'm not at work, I am learning about my faith, and my friends, and family as we spend time together. My relationships with the people in my life are incredibly important to me. I choose my settings and relationships as carefully as I can, and the people who I keep close to me are loyal, live with integrity, and yet, are some of the craziest individuals I have ever met. They inspire me in more ways than I can share by typing. When I'm not hanging out with people (and sometimes when I am) I have a few hobbies. A few are road tripping on my Kawasaki, bee keeping, skeet shooting, reading Mark Twain and Tolkien, brewing kombucha, cooking, enjoying a good drink and a conversation with a friend, hiking, swimming, and trying things that I think might push me out of my comfort zone (usually good for some laughs and a healthy dose of humility). I'm also fairly involved in the Church, helping to lead a "Young Adult Group" for adults 18-35 years old.

Hey! I'm Mike! I'm a hard worker with a strong work ethic--when I'm at work, I'm working! I thrive when I'm in a position of authority or management; I have great organizational skills, balance details and the big picture, and people say I'm a great leader. Gee, that sounded like a cover letter introduction. I'm fun too! I love bad puns, good friends, and making people laugh! I have eccentric intellectual interests like Canon Law and Metaphysics, and nerdy ones like Star Wars and House of Cards! Did I mention I love law? Still thinking about law school, but for now I do marketing, IT support, and a host of other duties. I wear many hats in my job, and I like it that way! I love being a valuable worker in all the jobs I do. I'm not really into sports. Let me rephrase that: I don't like sports. I'm very competitive in other areas, however, and I live for intellectual debates! I love politics and I keep up-to-speed on news and ideas. I think it's important to have reasons for the things we believe, and I'm always open to being challenged in my views, since it gives me the opportunity to refine my way of thinking and make corrections if necessary. I'm new to the online dating word, but I'm so thankful for this opportunity to meet a Catholic woman whom I would never have encountered otherwise. I'm very loyal and I don't like to play games with women, so if you're serious about marriage, feel free to message me! I hope that you and I soon find the ones whom our souls love (cf. Song of Songs 3:4).
  • William, 63 from Tolland, CT
    63, Tolland, CT
I am a 62-year old guy who was very lucky to experience and share a loving, supportive, and faith-filled marriage for over 27 years with a very special woman. Together we raised three "wonderful" children, two sons and a daughter. Our daughter, who was the youngest, graduated from high school in June 2012, and started college two months later. With all three kids in college, and on their respective ways to adulthood, one could say that my wife and I were about to enter the "Us Time" of our shared life, as "empty-nesters". For the first time since the very early days of our marriage, we did not have any "child-bearing", or "child-rearing", crisis or drama looming on the horizon. We could finally think about, and start planning for, what the "rest of our life" might hold, or so we thought. About 12 months before our daughter's graduation, my dear wife chose to retire from her full-time professional career in public service. After over 33 dedicated years, including a decade that had many 50-plus hour work-weeks, my wife's job had started to take a toll on her health. That year also proved to be especially important as she was able to shepherd our daughter through her college decisions.

I am a guy that is old school and traditional. I am smart, fun, active, and care about other people. I am also confident, attractive, athletic and mature. My parents are the most influential people in my life. They have been married for over 40 years and have been great role models to me. I enjoy hiking, fishing, kayaking, going to the beach in the summer and traveling to interesting places.
