I am truly a "Renaissance Man". A cultured present-day man who has acquired profound knowledge or proficiency in more than one field. A man who has a broad range of intellectual interests. ----------------------------------------------- Others consider me intelligent and confident in anything I pursue. I'm a very humble person and intellectually curious in many things. I am adventurous and like to be involved in outdoor activities. As for personality, my humor can be sometimes sarcastic but definitely funny !I can make you laugh about anything :)). Always supportive and positive. Some of my hobbies include music (I play trumpet). My taste in music is broad and diverse. Some of my interests are boating, photography, wine , mountain biking, hiking and beer brewing. I am never bored and would be great to share a new experience with someone. I am proud to have been brought up with good values. Looking for my counterpart, a classy girl with high positive energy, partner in crime. Caring and loyal. Has good self-esteem. Dan

I have been a widower for a little over two years now. My wife and I enjoyed over 50 tears of marriage, raised four children and were the proud grandparents of 11 grandchildren. The grandchildren range in age from 5 to 26. The two oldest are in college one is working on his masters and the other is completing her under graduate degree. I presently volunteer at the local hospital two days a week for three hours each and I also volunteer at local nursing home once a month for the Catholic service.

I have been away from the catholic church but I am back. I spent twenty five years in a protestant church but something was missing. About three years ago I could feel the tug of the Holy Spirit. I prayed and waited for over a year for confirmation. I started to attend mass at the Cathedral in Hartford on Saturdays while still attending the other church on Sundays. Six months later I knew i didn't belong at my old church anymore. So now I am a revert. I have a faith stronger than I ever thought I would. I always loved the Lord and He never forsake me. I just finished my first nine day Novena and WOW, was it awesome, I can't wait to do another. I am blessed with a good job. I am an IT Consultant for the local utility company. It is the only job I have ever had. I did have an Associates degree in Information Systems and I recently (five years ago now) finished up my Bachelor degree in Mathematics. You're never too old to learn.

My mom and dad sacrificed the world for me and my brothers and sisters. The most important thing to me under God are my family and friends. Coming from a family of faith has been crucial in my life, and marrying a Catholic woman and raising a faithful family is my biggest goal. Some of my proudest accomplishments have been serving in the Second Iraq War, going skydiving, earning my masters, and running 20 miles in the Ragner Relay. Right now I am working as a high school religion teacher and a baseball and cross country coach. I try to dedicate myself to that and it sure keeps me busy!

Hi there! :) I routinely participate in patriotic events, one of my most favorite and rewarding is, during the week of Veterans Day, giving presentations in grammar and middle schools. The staff and students have been are wonderful!! In 2012 I had the honor to do five of them in Shelton, Newtown and Amity. I was a volunteer for "Swim across The Sound" for eight years, a Symphony on Ice volunteer for six years and have been a Special Olympics volunteer for thirty years. Do a litte volunteering for TEAM as well I am retired from the Navy as well as a position in engineering at Sikorsky Aircraft. I try to swim 13 laps each weekday energy is taken up in working on my house and yard which there never seems to be enough time for. I can fix most things.(getting to them might be the problem!) (Sorry if this sounds too much like a resume, but I believe it gives one a basic idea who I am.) Schools: City University, Bridgeport Engineering Institute, Many military technical, management and leadership schools. I enjoy spending time with people and am friendly, sensitive to others feelings, respectful, supportive of friends and family, witty, philosophical, humorous (puns are my forte) and down to earth. At this point in life I'm letting God drive (He always did anyway) and I'm taking my hands off the wheel (for the most part) :) There are a lot more things I would like to do but would enjoy the company of a nice lady in doing them... the restaurants, social events, days trips, site seeing, boat rides, wine by the fireplace and so forth. (I have the wine ,the fireplace and plenty of wood. :) I enjoy just about any wholesome activity. (Casinos and sports are not in my interest as well too much opulence- don't get me wrong, I like the Newport mansions.). I even enjoy shopping with a woman. (To me, that is part of having a lady in one's life!!) FYI, I have no immediate family but know many people who bring much joy into my life. I was brought up by wonderful, loving parents who I am eternally grateful for. My Dad treated my mother with respect, always opening the car door for her even when they just went shopping, and walking down the sidewalk on the outside . He was a good role model for me. I am traditional and believe in old time values. Currently reading "Rediscovering Catholicism". Thank you and wish you the very best! (PS: I return all respectful emails.)

Hello, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, rollerblading, and skiing but prefer a hot shower and a warm bed at the end of the day to a sleeping bag. I also enjoy relaxing in front of the fireplace while watching a DVD. A romantic dinner for two at a nice Italian restaurant would be a great evening, but I am always open to suggestions. I consider myself to be an honest, thoughtful, easygoing person who appreciates a good sense of humor. I hope to find a fun energetic woman who is looking for a date and possibly a future.

I was born Catholic and raised strictly on the beliefs. Morals and values are a good complexion of me. Outgoing and full of life gives me positivity and motivation to better myself. Church is the foundation of a better living and surrounding yourself with similar attributes. I believe its the only way for 2 people to connect and make relationships work. God brings love into relationships and growing together with him is what I am looking for. Ultimately- the power he gives us will keep us together and leave the evil at the door.

*thinks of a witty and charming opening line* How YOU doin'?! (Sorry, I had to! lol) Hello there! My name is John and I am 27 years old and living in Connecticut. I currently work as a Deli Manager in a Fresh Market Store. I'm a Cradle Catholic, with most of the members of my Mother's family being employees of the Church in various roles. The Church is an inseparable part of my life, it helps define me to the depths of my soul. I love God, The Eucharist, Studying the Saints and my biggest Passion in Life is Catechesis, Teaching Teenagers and Adults alike about the Faith. I am also helplessly Romantic and Sarcastic, which makes talking to me quite the adventure lol. Ever since I was a young child, I dreamed of being a Strong Husband and Father. I have relied on God to build me into the kind of man to make a Lady the Husband she deserves, and He is FAR from done with me! I am also very Sarcastic and Silly, always with a quick remark or smart quip. I am quite fun loving and Genuine, What you see is what you Get. Authenticity is one of the greatest values in life, and I look for this in others. My taste in Music, Movies and Television is quite eclectic, and I'm usually scanning channels or stations not happy staying on one or the other. I do have some favorite Genres: Science Fiction, Musicals, Action, Historical Drama, Stand Up Comedy among others. That is all I got, If you are interested in learning more, feel free to message me. I Hope you have a lovely day, God Bless!

My passion is family foremost, especially my children and grand child. I look forward to being with them but also to non-family social gatherings. The people that have been most influential in my life were my parents who were brought up in the North Shore of Chicago. I also have been greatly influenced by spending my early years in the suburbs of Chicago and in a small, fairly cosmopolitan town in south central Michigan. Add to that, my service in Viet Nam, my career in investment banking and travels throughout the World. I enjoy playing golf, cooking, working in the yard and doing a variety of diy's projects around the house. Being a graduate of Michigan State University, I also follow that school's various athletic teams and attend related events on a regular basis.

Im Catholic, go to church weekly, and would enjoy meeting someone whos also into her faith. Right now Im struggling with how a divorced person fits in but I very much believe in God and His love for me and my family. I am blessed with three outstanding grown sons who are busy living their successful lives. I speak with them every week but most enjoy when all three are together with me during the holidays. The day I become a grandfather cant happen soon enough. I am a professional working for an insurance company and put in a lot of hours; work is an important part of me. For entertainment I like to go to restaurants, movies, shows, visits with friends, hosting dinner parties, taking cruises, etc. Im also OK with staying home and snuggling in front of the fireplace, watching a TV show, or just sitting and talking.
