56, Middletown, CTI have been away from the catholic church but I am back. I spent twenty five years in a protestant church but something was missing. About three years ago I could feel the tug of the Holy Spirit. I prayed and waited for over a year for confirmation. I started to attend mass at the Cathedral in Hartford on Saturdays while still attending the other church on Sundays. Six months later I knew i didn't belong at my old church anymore. So now I am a revert. I have a faith stronger than I ever thought I would. I always loved the Lord and He never forsake me. I just finished my first nine day Novena and WOW, was it awesome, I can't wait to do another. I am blessed with a good job. I am an IT Consultant for the local utility company. It is the only job I have ever had. I did have an Associates degree in Information Systems and I recently (five years ago now) finished up my Bachelor degree in Mathematics. You're never too old to learn.
32, New Haven, CTI am a genuinely passionate guy who loves learning and discovering new things! I love nature and the woods, but I'm obsessed with all things cultural and I love traveling. Basically, I want to see beauty everywhere :) I'm from an Italian/Sicilian family, and I'm an open-minded spiritual person. I love everything classic- if it withstands the test of time (especially a really long time), I'm fascinated by it. Deep down, I want to live in a cozy old house in the country and be able to live off the land- but I also want to travel the world and be a part of a different culture. I sing, play guitar, sax, and pretty much dabble in every other instrument, and I work as a music teacher when I'm not playing gigs. I get paid to play games and instruments all day! I'm looking for another beautifully open-minded person who likes discovering new things, loves people, and wants to work together to make life better for everyone :)
32, Danbury, CTHello, my name is James . I'm a traditional Catholic male from Connecticut. I'm a fun loving guy who is here searching for that special someone to start a serious relationship with that will one day lead to marriage, God willing. Please don't think I'm in any rush because I'm not but I just want to be clear that marriage is the ultimate goal. I'm a very family oriented person and would love to have a large family of my own one day. My dream is to come home every night after work to my loving wife and children and to pray the daily rosary as a family. If you share a similar dream than we might be very compatible. :-) I come from an inter racial marriage as my mother is originally from Ecuador and my father is a new yorker with an Irish Italian background. Growing up in the Bronx with the mixture of cultures in my home has made me very much enjoy experiencing and learning about all cultures. I work as teacher at a preschool full time, I also run an after school program for school age kids. I very much enjoy working with kids and look forward to having my own some day. In my free time I like to watch and play sports and spend time with family. I also love going to New York City whenever I get the chance, its one of the perks of only being 45 minutes away. There's always something fun to do in the city. I hope I get the chance to share it with somebody soon, but not my will, God's will be done. If you have any questions or wish to learn more about me, please don't hesitate to message. Good luck on your search, I truly hope we all find what we're looking for. God bless.
23, Jewett City, CTHey! I'm Mike! I'm a hard worker with a strong work ethic--when I'm at work, I'm working! I thrive when I'm in a position of authority or management; I have great organizational skills, balance details and the big picture, and people say I'm a great leader. Gee, that sounded like a cover letter introduction. I'm fun too! I love bad puns, good friends, and making people laugh! I have eccentric intellectual interests like Canon Law and Metaphysics, and nerdy ones like Star Wars and House of Cards! Did I mention I love law? Still thinking about law school, but for now I do marketing, IT support, and a host of other duties. I wear many hats in my job, and I like it that way! I love being a valuable worker in all the jobs I do. I'm not really into sports. Let me rephrase that: I don't like sports. I'm very competitive in other areas, however, and I live for intellectual debates! I love politics and I keep up-to-speed on news and ideas. I think it's important to have reasons for the things we believe, and I'm always open to being challenged in my views, since it gives me the opportunity to refine my way of thinking and make corrections if necessary. I'm new to the online dating word, but I'm so thankful for this opportunity to meet a Catholic woman whom I would never have encountered otherwise. I'm very loyal and I don't like to play games with women, so if you're serious about marriage, feel free to message me! I hope that you and I soon find the ones whom our souls love (cf. Song of Songs 3:4).
25, Morris, CTIf you're interested, you can read the brief write-up I have below. But I really prefer getting to know people face to face. Different aspects of people have influenced different aspects of my life. The epistles of St. Paul have given me encouragement and feelings of warmth in times of trouble: he often speaks of our union with Christ in both death and rebirth. These writings remind me to unite my suffering with that of Christ, always remembering the Life to come if I "finish the race" by the grace of God. St. Louis de Montfort, along with some other saints, present to me the idea of being a brilliant artist while being faithful to God; I have an admiration for writers and enjoy learning of their backgrounds, but often find disappointment in discovering their promiscuity and lack of Faith. St. Louis de Montfort was gifted with artistic talents (poetry, wood carving, and music) and used it for the sake of portraying the beauty of God and evangelization. Finally, I often derive inspirations of courage in fictional heroes. This may sound strange, but it is a valid point if you examine it: Spider-Man has always been a personal favorite of mine (definitely my man-crush if I had to choose one), for instance. The message of Spider-Man 2 (the film, of course) is: "Sometimes, in order to do what's right, we have to give up the thing we want the most." A very potent message to be sure, and undoubtedly relevant to a practicing Catholic in today's world. Consider another example in the character of Ebenezer Scrooge: here we find a character deeply rooted in sin and moroseness, seemingly without hope. But, by the grace of God, he repents of all his wrong-doings and focuses the rest of his life doing good. These characters, though fictional, iterate true ideals which have the potential to enlighten us in dark periods.
53, Chester, CTMy parent and grandparents provided me with a solid foundation for what really matters in life: family and the church. My parents did not spoil us like we do today with our kids, we always had dinner together as family unless we had sports always doing things with relatives and friends. I enjoy being outside walking or working in yard, beach, concerts, hockey, football, baseball
46, Manchester, CTI'm Italian raised on Long Island, but now living in Conneticut. Taking life one day at a time. Searching for one good romantic partner to enjoy fun times. My hobbies are writing and photography. I cook french toast, pancakes, chili, stroganoff, buffalo wings and love to bbq. I like watching movies and tv shows. Being outdoors in the good weather. I love swimming. Listening to classic and hard rock including 80's music. If you get to know me you'll love me. Get in touch...I'm a great Catholic man.
24, Simsbury, CTSome of my interests include learning about foreign cultures, learning foreign languages, and watching films. I also like having conversations about political issues and current events.
48, Farmington, CTLife has blessed me in so many ways, moving through this life working to maintain core values, with a sense of awe, adventure, purpose and gratitude are central to my existence. How I spend my time, when indoors- I enjoy writing of various kinds- I aspire to play and write on keyboard/piano, short stories and poetry. Outdoors- I cherish outdoors, hiking, being at the ocean, exploring mountain trails, playing golf-nature has a way of bringing balance, peace and connection with the heart. For a little extra thrill, motorcycle rides in the country are adventurous, and lots of fun! I am definitely a "doer" and will create projects and mini-hobbies for the fun of it, to keep me grounded and provide new and different experiences. I would like to meet someone who is essentially fun, kind, has an adventurous spirit, can laugh at themselves, finds meaning in things that matter beyond the material, and values connections of the heart over all else.
