I have a way with words. I have been called a lamp in the darkness. I am a punster, a lover of history and a lover of music. I have recorded at SUN studios in Memphis. My tastes in music are in country, Irish, Italian, those oldies but goodies. I have changed lives. My heritage is Slovak/Irish. Parish is Holy Name.

I am a 50 year old Italian man(Have been told by several people that I look and act younger than my age) who is very honest, caring, good listener, open, considerate, compassionate, sensative, helpful to those in need of help(family, friends, and strangers), a good sense of humor, and romantic(holding hands and kissing). Looking to start as friends, and possibly leading to a serious relationship.

I am truly a "Renaissance Man". A cultured present-day man who has acquired profound knowledge or proficiency in more than one field. A man who has a broad range of intellectual interests. ----------------------------------------------- Others consider me intelligent and confident in anything I pursue. I'm a very humble person and intellectually curious in many things. I am adventurous and like to be involved in outdoor activities. As for personality, my humor can be sometimes sarcastic but definitely funny !I can make you laugh about anything :)). Always supportive and positive. Some of my hobbies include music (I play trumpet). My taste in music is broad and diverse. Some of my interests are boating, photography, wine , mountain biking, hiking and beer brewing. I am never bored and would be great to share a new experience with someone. I am proud to have been brought up with good values. Looking for my counterpart, a classy girl with high positive energy, partner in crime. Caring and loyal. Has good self-esteem. Dan

Born and raised in a conservative Catholic Italian home, father law enforcement, mother very devout. Attended 10 years of Catholic School, elected class President, transferred to public in 11th year. Focused career on marine-related vocations, ultimately founded and grew companies in the environmental technology arena. Was married at age 25, raised a family with three children, all of whom came to live with me after painful divorce over 20 years ago. I'm exceptionally well traveled, love the Sea, and live directly on the beach. Family is a critical part of my life, and is first priority in all aspects of our journey. I'm a voracious reader, love movies (amateur critic), cooking, and lively intellectual conversation. Laughing and a broad spectrum of humor and wit govern my interactions unless strictly business, or during solemn events of course.otherwise ... Keeping perspective and the ability to laugh at oneself and imperfections is an intrinsic trait. I'm the ultimate protector, defender of the helpless, extremely compassionate and generous to a fault. I believe having a honed sense of propriety is important, but I never take myself too seriously. My values and demeanor with respect to my partner always places her needs and wants well ahead of my own. I always "pick up the tab" ... I give freely but accept gifts poorly. Universal respect and tolerance govern my ideology, buffered with an extremely open and adventurous mind. I need intellectual stimulation and someone with aspirations to achieve, whatever those aspirations may be. I live having dinner in great places that feature my ethnic cuisine. I'm the ultimate carnivore, and have fished and hunted extensively in this hemisphere, but now only fish. I retired at age 42, but that entire story is reserved only for someone I implicitly trust. I've lived in a ghetto growing up, and built a personal empire through business for my family. Put all of my children through school, all of whom are now accomplished and very close to me, and one another. Irish Catholic girls always got my attention, but I have no ethnicity boundaries. I prefer goal-oriented people, and believe every day is an opportunity and a gift. I am utterly fearless but very, very, gentile. There is no safer man on the planet, and I can, and do make everyone and anyone welcome and embraced for who they are. I won't abide lying, and dislike video games. I love kids of all ages, and they usually love me back.
  • Joe, 33 from Stratford, CT

I am an animal lover, and I prefer dogs. I have a black lab named Natasha. I love being outdoors, though not much in the winter. I enjoy relaxing adventures over high intensity. Sailing, camping, hiking, etc. When at home I enjoy reading, movies and video-games. I watch a lot of Netflix. I graduated with my MS in Physics 4 years ago, and I am currently teaching math at a private high school in the area. I love my job. I spend way too much time working but it doesn't often feel like it since my passion is to teach. I have always wanted to be a father, and my job has only reinforced those feelings as I look after the kids each day. Now that I am settled with education and career I think it is time I look toward the future.

My faith is a central part of my life. I am hardworking and patient. Communication is important to relationship and I prefer not to be burdened by life's everyday struggles. Joy is a quality developed through prayer, fasting, the sacraments and daily conversion to Jesus. I like to travel and explore and try each day to be an example of peace.

Well Just here to see what is out there. Can not begin to say how difficult it is to find anyone even remotely around my age that has any interest in my faith. So please, I am an open book and willing to talk about anything!
  • Dominick, 44 from Stratford, CT
    44, Stratford, CT
Divorced 43 year old Paramedic/singer-songwriter. I'm looking for someone who shares my love of music, my love of helping others, and my faith in God. I'm looking for friends first, and if a relationship develops, that would be wonderful. Being a paramedic has given me some unique life lessons and experiences, and those lessons are a driving factor in my everyday life. The most important lesson I've learned so far is easily summed up in a quote from Marcus Aurelius; "Never live life as if you have a hundred years in front of you. Live as if death is tugging at your right elbow." Music has also driven me, since I was 12 years old. The creation of sound, and the emotions that creation can bring forth in a perfect stranger drive me as a songwriter and as a musician. I am never without music. When I'm not either working or playing music, I enjoy competitive rifle and handgun shooting, movies, books, and spending time with my 2 dogs. In closing, I'd like to say this about myself. I have a very strong faith in God, but I'm no angel. I do not live a boring or ordinary life. I am intelligent, educated, and I spend most of my time flying by the seat of my pants. I have a huge personality, and a great sense of humor. I am NOT ordinary or mundane.
