33, Bristol, CTOrthodox, scholar, homebody. The main thing that I want from life is to work out my salvation, to which I think that married life can contribute. Next is to improve my intellect, to which I devote as much effort as I can, especially through reading. My intellectual activity includes my career: I am a teacher in a Catholic high school and an adjunct professor at NYU. My jobs, therefore, are not just for earning; they are a "life-work" (to borrow a phrase from Tolkien), as I go further along the path of intellectual achievement and take others with me. On a daily basis I get up and go to teach at the high school, where I often stay long after the end of the school-day because being a great teacher takes that extra effort; moreover, my commitment to doing my job well and improving every day, along with the personal satisfaction that comes from success, means that my work also takes on the nature of a very intense hobby. Accordingly the investment of time and effort that I put into my work, far beyond the minimum requirements, is similar to that which, for example, I observe my brother making on training for triathlons and marathons. On Tuesdays I go to New York and teach an evening class at NYU. On most evenings and weekends I seek the comfort of my home, especially settling myself in my library to read, or I enjoy the company of those people whom I have consciously chosen to include in my life. The number of such people is quite small--mostly family (including some cousins), a few long-time friends, and some of my colleagues--but I opt for quality over quantity in terms of my social circle. The activities that I enjoy with these people include watching movies, playing games, and simply having great conversations. I take seriously my citizenship in these United States, and with regard to politics I affirm the principles that Cardinal Ratzinger explained in 2004 in a letter on worthiness to receive Holy Communion. In terms of health my main goal is to stay trim. I value culture, by which I mean civilized culture, and so I try to avoid the more vulgar aspects of popular culture. I don't go clubbing, but I do like waltz and polka. I am not at all materialistic, and my aunt once called me "no-maintenance". Finally, if I may say so, I have a good sense of humor, which can vary from sarcastic to corny, and I can laugh at my idiosyncrasies.
34, Enfield, CTHi my name is Joe. I live in Connecticut. I work full time. I love to write, play and watch sports. I love animals especially Golden retrievers. Some of my talents are writing, fantasy sports, and anything that has to do with numbers and statistics. God is the best!
38, Ridgefield, CTAside from matters of the Faith, there are few things more enjoyable in life than making people laugh and feel good about themselves. Consequently, I enjoy being around good company. Music is an intriguing mystery to me, how we as human beings can mold sound into an art that moves people to tears or joy is simply mind-boggling. Hence, it's one of my predominant interests. I sing chant and polyphony at my parish when they need me and it's absolutely sublime stuff. So... if you're wondering why my "music" category is blank, it's simply that I believe music is so vast (as are my interests in it) that I can't possibly sum it up. My interests are rather eclectic: writing, computers/technology, video games, science, apologetics, and a variety of things in between. I'm blessed with a wonderful, supportive family and just about every other area of my life. God is good!
65, Westbrook, CTI am seeking a companion who would enjoy building a relationship around common interests and the desire to find support in the day to day pastimes with one another. I live in a mobile home by the sea and have had challenges with depression which is mostly under control. I am passionate about pro life interests, our faith, and writing. I enjoy yard work and going for walks. Pleasant moments include reading by the sea late in the afternoon. I enjoy gathering with groups and traveling to places like the Divine Mercy Center. You could also find me enjoying an occasional journey back to Boston, where I loved living for ten years or New York which is like no other place I've ever been. Did I say I like writing?? I did self publish a book of poetry. Participating in pro life work has been extensive in my life but these days, I tend to provide prayer support and behind the scenes support. Yes, watching and cheering for Boston sports teams is something I enjoy very much. I love the Traditional Latin Mass and find reverently praying the Mass reveals refreshing spiritual gems reverberating inside nearly every Sunday. I find, in following the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church, great solace in this day and age when our culture is aimlessly following the precepts of our fallen nature. Please respect this request. If you are divorced and your marriage has not been annulled, I hope, in charity, you will seek your annulment. We cannot seek a relationship if you do not have an annulment. God bless you and guide you and thank you for your interest in me.

33, Clinton, CT*Currently discerning the contemplative religious life (9-10-15)* God bless! I come from a very large family - I'm the oldest of nine children, and while we have had the typical sibling issues occasionally, I would not change it for the world. There are many things in this world that I am passionate about, but the most important thing is Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm a very traditionally-minded person, and that shows in everything I do, from the tailoring business I run, to the music I enjoy, to the way I try to live my life in general. I'm sometimes a reserved, quiet person, especially in a new social situation. I prefer to listen and think rather than have a boisterous conversation. But to those who can draw me out, I can be very humorous, outgoing, and fun. The most influential people in my life have been my friends, whom in their own little ways, have each taught me something important about myself. I believe God sends people like this into our lives to help us further ourselves, if we have a mind to. In my leisure time, I love to play and teach music, read, watch a good classic movie, or learn a new skill or hobby. Woodworking is the latest hobby. Everything is culminating to the way I want to live my life in the future - hopefully on a small farm out in the country somewhere.
51, Danbury, CTThere was a great lesson that I learned almost 25 years ago that has molded my being in ways I couldn't possibly enumerate. It was taught to me, personally, by the Blessed Mother herself. She showed me, literally step by step how to live by it. I understood it fully, and implemented it immediately. It was so simple, yet so few even consider it possible, let alone begin to comprehend its ramifications. I've gone through life with most people thinking I'm out of my mind. She taught me absolute, unwavering trust in Divine Providence. That lesson created a man who's done almost nothing in life the "normal" way by American societal standards. Details are not forthcoming in the remainder of this profile, so we'll have to get to know each other if you're brave enough to find out just how abnormal I am. Other than that, I am a very easy-going, consistent, emotionally mature, honest, open, communicative, trustworthy, loyal to a fault guy. The Lord usually gives me a high degree of sensitivity to the thoughts, feelings and desires of those I love. He keeps me stable in even the most traumatic times. I am always true to myself, regardless of circumstance. I love the Chesterton quote, "He is a sane man who can have tragedy in his heart and comedy in his head.". This section asks me to talk about passions. Aside from my Catholic faith, my greatest passion is fatherhood. You only get one chance, and a few short years to form these little souls in love. That's more important than money, career, social acceptance, or anything else the world has to offer. Sometimes it gets tiring to hear "Dad, Dad, Dad" every 30 seconds. But one day those voices will be gone and I'll be left with either satisfaction or regret. I'll win or lose. I'm a sheep or a goat. As a father, in each case, I try to aim squarely for the former. With God's grace, I hope to hit the mark more often than not. Time will tell. I'm also quite passionate about good health, though I'm by no means a fanatic. I exercise nearly every day and I'm very big on supplements. I'm rather omnivorous, as I like pretty much any kind of food, (unless it's poorly prepared). I can be passionate about food too, and am a fairly good cook. I'm also very funny, but I'm won't attempt to be here. I will invariably end up saying something that makes me sound like a tool, and we can't have that. I love photography and videography. And I love to write, thus, I'm out of spac

32, Danbury, CTHello, my name is James . I'm a traditional Catholic male from Connecticut. I'm a fun loving guy who is here searching for that special someone to start a serious relationship with that will one day lead to marriage, God willing. Please don't think I'm in any rush because I'm not but I just want to be clear that marriage is the ultimate goal. I'm a very family oriented person and would love to have a large family of my own one day. My dream is to come home every night after work to my loving wife and children and to pray the daily rosary as a family. If you share a similar dream than we might be very compatible. :-) I come from an inter racial marriage as my mother is originally from Ecuador and my father is a new yorker with an Irish Italian background. Growing up in the Bronx with the mixture of cultures in my home has made me very much enjoy experiencing and learning about all cultures. I work as teacher at a preschool full time, I also run an after school program for school age kids. I very much enjoy working with kids and look forward to having my own some day. In my free time I like to watch and play sports and spend time with family. I also love going to New York City whenever I get the chance, its one of the perks of only being 45 minutes away. There's always something fun to do in the city. I hope I get the chance to share it with somebody soon, but not my will, God's will be done. If you have any questions or wish to learn more about me, please don't hesitate to message. Good luck on your search, I truly hope we all find what we're looking for. God bless.
26, Wilton, CTHi. My name is John. I'd be so happy to meet new people who share my Catholic faith! My Catholic faith is the most important thing in my life. I've been attending the traditional Latin Mass since 2001. I graduated college 4 years ago for engineering and worked for a corporation for 2 years. I'm currently involved in property management & land use. I love children. I love being outdoors especially on the ocean. Music is my favorite pastime. I play the piano (classical and popular) and the organ for my church. Tutoring children is also something I've been doing recently. I also like to study history, science, and nutrition. My ideal date would be enjoying the outdoors - or going out for dinner to chat.
