I really enjoy meeting and talking to new people no matter where are you are from. I would really love to meet a special woman to be my wife someday. If you just want to be friends as having the same interests or are looking for something more, either way feel free to message me. I graduated college from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a bachelor's degree in Criminology, and a minor in Psychology. I am from the Pittsburgh area . I am a big fan of sports. I watch a lot of baseball and football games, and enjoy watching movies. I also like to lift weights and travel. I was very active in my church group on campus. I was a Eucharistic Minister, Bible Study leader, Altar Server, and Catholic Student Association Vice President. I went to World Youth Day to see Pope John Paul II, and on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. It was amazing and I really enjoyed the experience there. Since then, I have been praying the Rosary a lot more. I also went on the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP), where I built houses for families in poverty, during my spring breaks at college, because I enjoy helping others and working with people. I also just went on a trip to Rome for Holy Week and I really enjoyed it. I got to see every Pope in my life, John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and Francis I. I also previously went on a trip to Lourdes/Fatima. I am very thankful I have had the opportunity to travel as much as I have, and see the various apparition sites I visited. I also have friends in Harrisburg, and Philadelphia I visit quite often, so I am willing to travel to those areas for meeting people.

Hello! Thanks for looking at my profile. I moved to Washington, D.C. in August 2015 to teach at a Catholic prep school as an English teacher. Philly, Roanoke, and the Hudson Valley (where I grew up) have also been home, along with the past five summers working at a boarding school close to Newport, Rhode Island. I like to think I am an easy going, intelligent guy, and my faith is an essential part of my identity. Although I do enjoy quiet time alone, I like to meet new people, and I always enjoy great conversation. I'm a former cross-country coach who hasn't been the most disciplined athlete recently, but I try to eat healthy and exercise every day. Live music is also something I enjoy, so at the very least a new concert buddy would be fun. I have a bit of a Netflix, Apple Music, Amazon Prime media habit that can be a welcome distraction to grading essays. As for a little personal background, my parents divorced and later had their marriage annulled when I was very young, but I am thankful I had both of them in my life. Neither remarried, so I am an only child without any siblings. I am very independent and used to being by myself; however, I do enjoy time with friends and family. I am far from perfect in so many areas of my life, although I do make a habit to pray the rosary (nearly) daily, along with keeping up with the Liturgy of the Hours. I spent a year (2008) with a community of priests in Philly trying to discern if I was called to brotherhood/priesthood with them. I am now here instead. :)

Hi there. I'm a so-called "boomerang" DC resident as I left town for three years of law school, but recently returned to the area and thought Catholic Match would be a good way to meet some new people. Born and raised just outside Boston and one of six kids, I'm a big fan of camping, board games, politics, travel, history, and everything Boston sports (go Pats!). After undergrad, I worked in DC for four years- two as a first grade teacher (through Teach for America) and two at a legal think tank. And this past Fall, I returned to DC and to start work at a law firm. A cradle Catholic, I've gone through a bit of a conversion over the past few years, deepening my Catholic faith and taking its tenets (and blessings) seriously. I've been fortunate enough to work in Rome for several months and to take a pilgrimage to the Holy Land itself. I believe that a shared faith is essential in a relationship, and I hope to share my faith with any future girlfriends and with my eventual spouse.

Love is God's gift of Himself to us. We come to know Him by prayer. I am just here to learn pray with the singles' community right now. I hope my prayers to Him to bless and fulfill all your wishes for love and the sacrament of marriage are fulfilled.

    61, Washington, DC
Well, hello there. My name is Rick, and I'm new to our Church, having come into it just this past Easter. It was one of the very best things I ever did - after attending Mass regularly for many years without becoming "official." I have been in DC for almost 30 years - yikes - and for most of that time I have been a lobbyist in the energy and nuclear power fields. Originally from New England, I grew up in Connecticut and Maine, and went to college in Massachusetts. Later in life, with too much weekend time on my hands, I trained as an actor at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. It was mostly just a hobby. I have been single for a long time (itself a long story), and spend a lot of time with my 23-hr-old son. He lobbies me a lot to have someone in my life, perhaps because I crimp his style and social schedule.

I love philosophy, the fine arts(especially literature, poetry, good film, symphony concerts, museums), nature, healthful living, Catholicism. I spend spare time reading, conversing with friends, exercising, appreciating nature. I try regularly to read The New Yorker and The NYRB. I am pursuing a PhD in Philosophy at CUA. My faith is at the center of my life, and my fundamental formative years in the faith occurred in St. John Fisher seminary in Stamford, CT.

My name is Joe. I'm from DC but until recently have been stationed in San Diego CA. I graduated from The Catholic University of America in 2011 with a bachelors degree in math. Yes it was a silly idea. I played tennis in college but I enjoy just about any form of physical activity even if I'm bad at it. I'm the second of four siblings not counting the dogs.

Hello! I'm a young Catholic who has just moved to the DC area after spending my entire life in North Dakota. I haven't had much time to socialize, as school and work take up most of my time, but I'm hoping to meet someone who can show me the ropes of big city life! I'm a pretty quiet guy overall, but I also love to joke around! I love the outdoors, but I am also just as happy watching documentaries about the outdoors on Netflix. Hiking is my thing, so if you're a hiker, I am in desperate need of a hiking buddy! Given that we're on CatholicMatch, I think it goes without saying that my faith is very important to me. I was only received into the Church this past Easter, but that reception was the culmination of a very long spiritual journey that took me from Pentecostalism and through Atheism before I finally came home! I never miss Sunday mass, and I try to make it to daily mass at least once or twice a week. I also never leave the house without my rosary! For some educational background, I just received my BA in Theology, and am now working on my MA, with hopes of continuing on for my PhD. I also work in IT as a Systems Administrator (managing servers, databases, and other back-of-the-house stuff that most people never see), which has been my job for the past five years. My MA is what brings me to DC, and I'm super excited to not only take this major step in my academic life, but also to be migrating to the big city! I've never lived in a major city for more than a month or two before, so it's both terrifying and exhilarating!

Cradle Catholic. Looking for someone who can answer the questions I have about the faith. Every success I've ever had at my job or with the lady-folk has come from my ability to slowly and painfully wear someone down.
