I'm a native New Englander but grew up here in Oklahoma. I work in Crisis Management and absolutely love what I get to do every day! I'm also a professional opera singer in addition to singing for multiple churches and community choruses! I love volunteering and am passionate about helping the next guy out. I would love to share my faith with someone who loves not just Christ, but helping others.

I serve as a US Diplomat, specifically with the Foreign Service, so traveling and living overseas is a major part of my life. I believe I am one of those people who genuinely views life as an adventure. I figure you get one shot so you need to absolutely squeeze out every opportunity and experience, to include being a good family member and friend. My family tends to throw around the words enthusiastic, driven and dedicated when they describe me. I am very much an extrovert, but I enjoy the company of both outgoing and more introspective people. I love a good adventure or fun exploit, although I am extremely reliable. I take my responsibilities with work, my faith and my family seriously. I am highly ambitious in my professional and personal exploits, but I always try to temper that by being mindful of the most important elements of life. I genuinely love the outdoors and feel most at home when I can find an excuse to escape the city. Physical fitness is also an integral part of my life. This is an interest that I would like to have in common, as I'm happiest when I can incorporate exercise into my daily life and weekend activities. I tend to be a highly pragmatic, but I am deeply passionate about the things I find worthwhile.

Now that my love for Natalie Portman has officially died, I can join Catholic Match without guilt for my lack of fidelity. In terms of nationality, I'm a Texan; although I'm not much good at riding a horse or roping a steer and in general do my best to get out of the country as frequently as possible. I like reading books, riding trains, and taking pictures of far away rivers. I'm pretty laid back and fairly inarticulate.

Hi there. I'm a so-called "boomerang" DC resident as I left town for three years of law school, but recently returned to the area and thought Catholic Match would be a good way to meet some new people. Born and raised just outside Boston and one of six kids, I'm a big fan of camping, board games, politics, travel, history, and everything Boston sports (go Pats!). After undergrad, I worked in DC for four years- two as a first grade teacher (through Teach for America) and two at a legal think tank. And this past Fall, I returned to DC and to start work at a law firm. A cradle Catholic, I've gone through a bit of a conversion over the past few years, deepening my Catholic faith and taking its tenets (and blessings) seriously. I've been fortunate enough to work in Rome for several months and to take a pilgrimage to the Holy Land itself. I believe that a shared faith is essential in a relationship, and I hope to share my faith with any future girlfriends and with my eventual spouse.

I'm a Catholic convert since, a musician serving the Church, an uncle to three adorable small humans, an avid traveler and explorer of the world near and far, a classic introvert, a lover of the English language, and a want-to-be saint.

I went to Texas A&M University and majored in Political Science. I also taught English for a summer at Tsinghua University in Beijing. .. sadly, no I don't speak Mandarin. Ironically my current work has nothing at all to do with politics, I just like the environment of D.C. I just changed jobs and now work for a large tech comopany. I am somewhat introverted, but like to go out when the right times arise. I love museums, history, and trivia. I also love to fish and hike, but will never go hunting....always catch and release, unless I'm starving in a post apocalyptic world. Then I will eat all the animals. Don't take this to mean I'm a vegetarian, because I am definitely not, but don't care if you are. Also, I am not a huge drinker, but definitely not against drinking. Fyi, I will probably stop drinking before you do. One last thing.....the east coast is like a foreign world to me. I grew up my entire life in the south and in Texas...so if you tell me you live near ______ city, I will have no idea where it is and will have to look at google maps. (no I do not have a southern accent, my parents are from the north).

I am a graduate student studying the history of the Catholic Church, particularly the early Church. It is my greatest desire to use this education to teach, hopefully at the university level. It is my firm conviction that the literature of the holy fathers of the Church is profoundly meaningful, and accessible to the modern reader, and I hope to be able to facilitate encounters between students and these great texts which have done so much to shape and deepen our faith. It is a great gift to spend my working days immersed in the history and theology of Christ's Church! When not working on my studies, I value my friends and family above all else. Human connections always mean more than any temporal, material advancement, as humans are eternal creatures, while all the things of this world are passing away. I enjoy sports in particular, and am active in a number of intramural and recreational leagues, as well as keeping up with my college & professional teams (the University of Michigan and Detroit!). I also have a great fondness for literature, in what little free reading time I have available, and can almost always be found with a book (or two!) on my person. J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis are among the most formative figures for my imagination, but others are prominent as well. For much beyond that, you'll have to get to know me. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, and if you'd like to know more, just send me a message!

Hello, my name is Conor. I really look forward to spending time with my family and friends. Many people have been very supportive and influential in my life. I have had the privilege of meeting some amazing people along the way, as I've gone from Seminary, to regular College, to policing, to teaching. In my leisure time, I enjoy writing letters to friends, reading, drawing, playing guitar, ice hockey, and walking. Not to be redundant, but of course! spending time with friends/family is a part of this.

Hello! I'm a young Catholic who has only recently moved to the DC area after spending my entire life in North Dakota. I'm a pretty quiet guy overall, but I also love to joke around! I love the outdoors, but I am also just as happy watching documentaries about the outdoors on Netflix. Hiking is my thing, so if you're a hiker, I am in desperate need of a hiking buddy! Grad school has me spending most of my time reading, but when I do have free time I generally spend it either playing video games or messing around with a few coding projects. As a newbie to the DC area, I've also really enjoyed exploring the city a bit. I'm still very much a tourist here, so there's really nothing in this city that doesn't excite me! In terms of what I'm passionate about: I'm passionate about theology. I backed out of my career in IT in order to pursue my dream of becoming a theology professor, and I wouldn't change a thing. There is really nothing I love more than sitting down with someone like Joseph Ratzinger or Romano Guardini and working through their position on particular areas of theology.

Cradle Catholic. Looking for someone who can answer the questions I have about the faith. Every success I've ever had at my job or with the lady-folk has come from my ability to slowly and painfully wear someone down.
