I am currently a teacher at a middle school, and I coach baseball at a local high school. I enjoy going to dinner and attending sporting events and concerts. I also enjoy running six times a week, fishing, golfing, and the beach. To me, family is the most important thing in life.

I have two loves of life; my six year old son, who lives with me half of the time, and the game of golf! I enjoy dining out frequently, as I was in the restaurant business for over 25 years. I am retired now, but if the right scenario would come along, I might just jump at it, and return to owning my own business. I love traveling to south florida, especially in the cold months, and I do not care for cold weather at all anymore. I love the beaches in south florida, and the many golf courses that the state has to offer. South Florida also has literally hundreds of awesome restaurants, which I love to try and to find new ones with unique dishes and cuisines! My son and i enjoy each other immensely. He is now enrolled in lacrosse for six year olds, and he has made lacrosse his favorite sport; or at least his favorite until the next one begins. We just spent our Easter break visiting Disney world in Orlando, where he wore me out at the water slides. He truly is an awesome gift from God. I most especially enjoy our Catholic faith! I had the occasion of traveling to Rome in 2000, which was the last "Holy Year", and it was incredible. Seeing Pope John Paul II was an experience that I will always treasure. Having been single since 2007, I think I am ready to move forward in life and hopefully find a partner who is Catholic, and whom I can trust wholeheartedly!

Life is an adventure and a blessing from God, and I fully trust in him as I take steps along the way. I aspire to work in politics, and the path I have taken has had its fair number of adventures. It has taken me from my hometown of Florida to working on a presidential campaign, fighting for the conservative movement across the country, running a political non-profit in D.C, to continuing on to graduate studies at Regent University in Virginia Beach, then back to Florida where I ran for office and run multiple businesses. My faith journey has been similarly circuitous, and I only converted to Catholicism in 2011 (although I have become fond of the Byzantine rite). Whether in my faith or my career, I'm passionate about what I do; I desire to do Gods will, and I seek the truth. My sense of adventure is fueled by my outgoing nature and slapstick sense of humor. I love to be around family, friends, and others, and I'm not shy to talk about religion or politics, nor do I pay much mind to being politically correct. Although I'm strong in my convictions, I enjoy talking big ideas and being tested in my beliefs. I have my Masters in Government with concentrations in Public Administration and Political Theory, and I run multiple businesses. My schedule keeps me busy, but I still find time to read and go out with friends. I don't know the next step in my life yet, but I am confident that God has great plans for me and am excited to serve him.

Dear Fellow CMer (unfortunately, I don't know your name to give a proper salutation), My friends tend to describe me as a good listener, trustworthy, devoted, compassionate, and fun, with a dry sense of humor which sometimes gets me in trouble at times. My profession is important to me; however, faith, family, and friends are the most important things to me. I have a wide variety of interests: sports, chilling at the beach, fitness, foodie, travel, singing (not just in the shower), and dancing (hip-hop and swing). I am, however, mentally ill in a few ways: I am currently seeking help and taking medication for my obsession with U2 (the rock band, not the Cold War spy plane), all things automobiles, Ruf (many of you may be wondering what this is; I highly recommend a google search; your life will be the richer for it). I also enjoy philosophy, theology, bioethics, and great jokes. I'm both old-fashioned (in terms of courtship, love of Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and old movies) and modern (i.e., not boring--of course you always have to worry when someone feels the need to say that he is not boring :). I have friends of all ages--kids and seniors alike. I'm definitely a romantic, and know how to make a woman feel special and loved, and I actually do listen. I'm a stickler for buying the right flower at the right time. I love my friends and family deeply, not afraid to express my emotions or have deep conversation, I enjoy chick flicks as much as seeing things blow up on the movie screen, can pick a fantastic bouquet and make a gourmet dinner, open doors, pull out chairs. Finally, please do not commit age discrimination. It is against the by-laws. Plus, just ask yourself, "what would Jesus do?". I'm really young at heart. Unfortunately, I have had some rather frustrating experiences with long-distance relationships; therefore, I strongly prefer more local CMers, unless God appears to me in a dream ;) ... I suppose I have to be open, despite my natural inclinations. .... I just don't want to be misleading in any way.... Cheers JD

Well, I am a practicing Catholic, born and raised in the Catholic faith and a native South Floridian. Despite knowing many people, I just find it hard meeting the right people for dating. I'm not a club person nor am I the type to stalk the produce section or laundry aisle of a supermarket in search of my match. I like exploring new and different restaurants, wine bars, wine tastings, movies, fairs / festivals...pretty much anything fun. I know it's cliche, but it's's not so much the activity as it is the person you are with. As long as I enjoy the person or people I am with, I can have fun pretty much anywhere doing just about anything.

As I navigate the waters of life after my wife's passing, I find myself somewhat lost at sea. I am a Pisces and love the water. I love sailing, fishing, and cruising on the inland waters of the midwest. I also enjoy cruising and fishing in the Bahamas. I love cooking, but trying to be creative for one is difficult. Some pictures included here "show off" some of my so-called skills. I retired from an active architectural practice some time ago at 56 years of age - so my time is free now. I do however keep my hands and mind active for my friends should they need my help. The yard work maintaining several acres can be a full time job certain times of the year. I now share my time between Lauderdale By The Sea FL. in the winters; Kentucky Lake KY, along with the Lake Country area of SE WI. in the summers. I am hoping that my new soulmate would like and share my choices of where I (we) choose to lay our heads at night and awake in the morning. I enjoy the sunrises and the sunsets, but a full moon rising over the water is my favorite. There is something about sharing the beauty of God's creation in nature with that someone special in your life - arm in arm, hand in hand, just feeling the glow. My late wife was my best friend, and I truely miss the affection we shared for each other, whether it be watching the moon rises as I just mentioned, or just sitting on the couch watching TV or reading our seperate books knowing that the other was right there. I love touching and being touched, "good morning kisses" were a "Must Do" every morning, just a kiss anytime to let her know that I loved her or she loved me. I had 5 years to prepare for her passing and her wish for me was to move ahead once she was gone. I have just described my past with my departed soulmate. Is this something that you would like to share? My New Time is here now, and I look forward to sharing the love and caring for each other I had learned previously with a new partner. Could she be you? I was born and raised Catholic, found a New Faith in the Church thru the help of my late wife. I do hope and pray to be able to find that special person with whom I may be able to enjoy walking into God's house hand in hand, and get down on our knees and say "Thanks for Our Many Blessings" and pray for those less fortunate than us. Can I get an Amen? Terry

Hi, I'm a fairly reserved person, I do tend to be a bit on the quiet side. I love animals, although I can't have pets in my condo. I enjoy travel/museums/national parks and theater/movies. Local outdoor festivals are great as well.
