32, Chicago, ILI don't know what to put in here. I'm an introvert, but I know how to have a conversation. I play guitar and bass, and a little bit of piano. I'm like Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran except without the money and mobs of fans... so nothing like them :) I like movies. A lot. I have seen more movies than most people I know. I also like musical theatre and opera. I used to do community theatre and I was in an opera chorus once upon a time. If you ever want to go see something, I WILL take you. I'm always looking for partners to see plays and musicals.
41, Chicago, ILI am an introvert by nature, and probably am too serious too often, but I have a lighter side and a sense of humor once I warm up to people. I've realized the hard way that work/career is not really that important in the grand scheme of things, that it's relationships, friendships and the little things in life that really matter. Three words that would describe me: loyal, empathetic, nice.
28, Chicago, ILI will be constantly revising these descriptions, but for now I will cheat and use an essay I wrote in 2014, due to time constraints (currently not focusing on dating/courtship but authentic friendship, but acknowledging that desire, while also respecting the demands of completing my training as a 3rd year student doctor and aspiring biological psychiatrist...if youre reading this I probably was intrigued by something you wrote and/or was drawn to you in some level, so out of fairness here's a window into my own mind) January 7, 2014 I came to the terrible and awesome realization at 3 AM this morning that the best preparation for marriage is authentic friendship, regardless of 'relationship status'. You're probably thinking that this defies the laws of common sense, and if so, you're right. It would seem that dating prepares you for marriage. But there is a fine difference lurking between the lines here. Dating prepares you to find the person you will marry; it doesn't prepare you for marriage. Everything converges on this one idea that someone once told me: how you are in your first home is likely how you will be in your second home. What?! You mean that when I fall in love and get married, I won't just magically be able to start over and suddenly be the person that I am waiting till then to be? [See below for continuation....it was too lengthy]
50, Arlington Heights, IL'Not sure what to write here, anyone can make themselves sound desirable and awesome. But it takes a honest person to be humble and be who they are.... So here I go, not expecting much to come out of this but God works in mysterious ways, right? Well I am very easy going and a blue collar type of a guy who is extremely trustworthy and genuine. My family is everything to me. Just see if anyone can go out of their comfort zone without the security blanket and be what they think they are!!!....

40, Chicago, ILI'm in the process of conversion through the RCIA program and wanted to meet other like minded people. I'm looking primarily for friendship and fellowship and want to learn about what inspires others. I grew up in a secular household and did not think much about spiritual matters until I met devout Catholics in college. They were strong in their faith and always encouraged me to challenge my own beliefs and to keep on searching for answers to complicated life questions. On matters not related to faith, I really enjoy running and being outside in nature. Although not essential, I would like to be with someone who enjoys the same activities. Huge plus if you want to train for the 2017 Chicago Marathon with me!
37, Chicago, ILI am Ronald. My family calls me Jojo. I am a Filipino. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have been living and working in Chicago for almost three years now. I am passionate about my guitar and ukulele for they have been my constant companion and self-expression. Most people I encounter describe me as silent and soft spoken and serious. I am passionate about studying and reading good literature to expand the way I view the world and its mysteries. I look forward to a continuous growth of my personal and spiritual development and other important areas in my life. I am very passionate about my faith in God and consider my everyday experiences as a path towards Him. I am 37 years old. My birthday is August 14. When I was twelve years old, when I was about to start my high school life, my parents convinced me to study in the seminary, a high school for young boys dedicated to formation of young vocation towards the priesthood. The name of my school is Immaculate Conception Minor Seminary. It is there that I have learned my great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary who has always been guiding my earthly life. After graduating from high school, I continued my college education in San Pablo Major Seminary. I decided to leave my seminary formation after I graduated. My eight years of experience inside the seminary has been the most influential because I still hold in my heart the great lessons and values I have learned that helped me become what I am today. I enjoy reading during my free time. I enjoy playing music in my guitar and ukulele. I enjoy exercising my body to preserve its optimum health. I like to spend silence, solitude and meditation. I like to watch good movies. My life is simple and only centered in God. I consider myself a continuous process of becoming. I want to grow old with someone, to grow and nurture Peace, Love & Light together in our hearts. I have deep reverence for life. I love animals and nature. I believe Marriage & Sex are Very Sacred. I am looking forward to meeting a woman who believes in the sanctity of marriage; a woman who fears God, and willing to accept me for who and what I am and wanted to pursue the vocation to the married life. All I can offer is the blessing of peace in my heart, my loyalty as long as I live and my love until I die. Would you thread this difficult journey with me?

48, Downers Grove, ILi guess being simple has always been my way. I am a generous soul who enjoys many things Chicago. There are many things that capture my interest, but nothing stops me in my tracks like a Ducati motorcycle. i am open to trying new things and places. Humble, compassionate, generous and patient are words that describe me best. If these are some things you are looking for, I would like to meet. Take a leap of faith and see where it takes us. If you have an obsessive relationship with your phone outside of work, that is not going to work for me. Thanks for reading.
