I am a gentlemanly, good-natured, kind-hearted,good-humored, and never-married (yet) single man. I believe and support all that Christ's Church teaches. I worked in computer programming for the same company for 36 and 1/2 years, and I just retired as of 02/01/14. I enjoyed my work and the people with whom I worked. I have a very active sense of humor, and I like to try to make people laugh (and perhaps some day I'll succeed.) I have a great appreciation for the gift of the Catholic faith which God has given to us.

Hello ,and thanks for visiting my short profile. I am currently able to maintain two lives- one in Naples ,Fl.and one in Chicago area. I enjoy golf a lot and visit the gym routinely. I would love to share quality time and fun , with long term goals in mind, with a lady who will become my best friend and confidant. I am retired, but love to walk the beach, have a glass of wine, enjoy unlimited conversation, and am thankful for this great time of life. Still act like I'm 30 half the time, but I guess one has to act young to stay young. I suppose that's enough rambling.... Thanks

I retired about a year ago and I now do part time consulting work for an engineering firm in downtown Chicago. I enjoy working with technology and consider myself a geek! I even own several pocket protectors! (If you dont know what a pocket protector is I will explain it to you.) I also enjoy walking and cycling.

Hello to all who read this. Best wishes and I hope you all find love and happiness in your lives. I have a pretty interesting and full life. I am from a big Irish Catholic era family. Grew up with in the 60's and loved it. So glad I saw the Beatles at an age when I was starting to have interest in both girls and music. They had a big influence in my life. I love music. Raised in the church, strayed from it through my 20's, but came back to the Church in my 30's. I have such an appreciation of the richness and depth of Catholicism that I didn't have as a kid. My faith is everything to me. I went back to school and became an Architect, which I still do part time. A few years ago though I had a sense of being drawn to ministering more directly in people's lives. So these days I teach full time during the school year, part time in the Summer combined with doing Architectural work. I have a good life and appreciate it these days. The one thing missing is a good Godly funny sort of quirky woman to share my love and life with. Oh that would be wonderful!

My background is a little different. I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin north of Milwaukee. I am a graduate of Marquette University with a B.S. in Business and an Accounting major. I am a retired C.P.A. and really enjoy that kind of work. I lead an active life style. I stay fit by gardening and doing my own yardwork. I have solid family values but also like to be playful and have a good sense of humor. I have 5 children who are all happily married and 14 grandchildren. I like to travel and have been to Alaska, Poland, Hungary, the Cech Republic, Chile and Germany. German is my second language. I have worked extensively in Europe in the financial area. I like to hunt and fish. I have gardened for many years and raise vegetables, peaches, pears, aspargus and black and red raspberries. My ideal spouse would be a practicing Catholic who attends mass on a weekly basis. She does not have to have the same opinions regarding contraception and sex. I would hope that she is a reasonably good cook since I am not. She should like to travel but also feel comfortable just enjoying a glass of wine by the fire. If she likes to garden, that is a plus. Since I am a gardener, I would hope that she would enjoy using the products of my garden. I am planning to down size my house and yard so that I can engage in other activities. I expect that my gardening activities will be reduced when this occurs. I like to engage in outdoor activities including fishing and hunting. If she likes outdoor activities, that is also a plus. Last but not least, I would hope that she is particular about her appearance and looks.

I have always had a lot of fun and meet some very interesting people. I pray hard...laugh even harder. I have a very electric, fun, witty, intriguing, extremely interesting, etc, personality. ( confident ) haha ...... I stay very active which includes racquetball, jogging, biking, golf, etc. Would hope some of the same is an interest to you. God does throw you a curve ball sometimes. And in my case, I was starting to think that it was the only pitch He knew....The answer is to be ready for it. I'd say the help I had from the Mercy Nuns ( Is that an oxymoron? ), Jesuit priest and the Marine Corps gave me the strength to get through those times. My Catholic faith is very important to me. Practice it daily. I'm a strong conservative and live my life accordingly : ) The two most important days in your life are... The day you were born and the day you find out why...... God Speed, Yea...I'm just a kid with a dream: )
