39, Rock Island, ILI'm person who likes to help people, almost tripping over myself ;-). I have a full time job doing web/multimedia for a catholic organization. I help out in my parish and KofC. I also volunteer at my old college. I do challenge people to think. I always see the best in people and hope in the best.
30, Macomb, ILI graduated from college about 4 years ago. During college, I became active in the church for the first time. I grew up Catholic, but I wasn't very involved until I started attending the campus Newman Center. Today, I still regularly participate in my parish and I like to volunteer with different groups in the area. Some of these groups include rummage sales, soup kitchens, tutoring, etc... I'm always open to helping out a new group (when I have the time - sometimes I get pretty busy). Outside of Church, I enjoy reading and working on the computer. During summer, I also like taking walks, playing badminton, and riding bicycles. Professionally, I work in the computer field specializing in websites, database design, and Java programming. I'm hoping to someday complete my Masters degree in Computer Science, but I haven't been able to start yet.
65, Peoria, ILi'm a young 58 year old male who enjoys walking, running, going to movies and just being with people. My favorite thing, i enjoy ,is traveling, seeing places with a lot of history. I'm crazy about sports,my favorite sport is baseball. I enjoy going to the peoria chiefs minor leauge games. I also enjoy going to the dinner theater.
53, Princeton, IL8/11/15 - My favorite You Tube videos will tell a lot about me: 1) Yann Dall'Aglio: Love -- you're doing it wrong 2) My Last Days: Zach Sobiech "Clouds" Celebrity Music Video 3) Blind Boys of Alabama: There Will Never Be Any Peace 4) Homily: Desert and Living Waters 5) Michael Coren: Why Catholics Are Right 6) Fr. Tito: The Lamb of God I could probably list a thousand more videos. I spend much of my free time on You Tube, watching clips of Jesus of Nazareth; listening to Fr. Barron, Ted talks and lectures by Wes Cecil (Google him - if you like his style you may like me), among others; and lots of music. I recently watched some videos with Michael Coren and I think his Catholic views mirror mine. Who am I? I really Identify with the Matt Damon character in the movie "Good Will Hunting", except as a philosopher seeking "the Truth of the matter ", not a mathematician. Like Socrates says, "the unexamined life is not worth living." Being true to Our Lord and putting our complete faith in Him, is more important than money or honors. The Lord teaches us, "Seek the Kingdom of Heaven first, and everything will be freely given to you. Suffer and let it be so. Love your enemies. Bless those who curse you. Do good to those who hate you. Pray for those who persecute you." God wants to write the law on our hearts. Until we change within and God's Love in us becomes as natural as breathing, we have fallen short of seeking to be perfect like our Father in Heaven is perfect. I long for someone in my life who shares a deep desire for wisdom in order to glorify Our Father in Heaven. I am intense and serious about theology, philosophy, history, English, and a healthy-ish lifestyle. I don't laugh easily, kind of like Mr. Kotter from "Welcome Back Kotter." I'm also very observant (like the TV show "Monk" but without the eccentricity, okay I guess that's somewhat debatable); a bit of a body language expert (like the TV show "Lie To Me"), and I obviously like to reference pop culture in order to illuminate my point. To sum it up, I'm an extreme, but I think sensible, INFJ, according to the Kiersey temperament test. Introvert (not that I don't get out, I'm just very selective in my speech and actions); Intuitive (I see details like few others, high on the ESP scale); Feeling (I'm very compassionate, usually rooting for the underdog); and Judging (Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa.) May the Good Lord bless you and may peace be with you always.
30, Peoria, ILOkay, just the facts, no crazy/unreal story. So, here it goes. I am somewhat of a science/history nerd at heart. No fear, it's nothing obsessive, I just enjoy occasionally watching shows related to each subject. Like the Discovery and History Channel. I am definitely not a huge sports fan, but I don't mind watching a game from time to time. I am kinda shy at first, but with a little time I open up and I think you'll find me to be a pretty fun and interesting guy to be around. I really love making people laugh. On the job, I am a hard worker and I take pride in what I do. In addition, I am a true believer in living life to the fullest. I am always up for trying something new. With that all said, I believe I have a lot to offer a girl. One thing I really look for in a girl is personal confidence. So, if you're a confident, fun to be around girl and interested or have any questions/comments, just e-mail me and we'll see where things go from there.
26, Champaign, ILHi! I am a graduate student at the University of Illinois, working toward a PhD. In faith, as in academics, I try to remember that I always have more to learn, and strive to make the small improvements that will amount to a big difference. I hope to find someone who shares my desire to make this journey of self-betterment in which heaven is the final waypoint, and that we can spur each other on and help each other up on the narrow way.
26, Normal, ILI'm Jared. Anyone who knows me will find that I am extremely easy to get along with (I can be a people pleaser). People that know me rarely see me without a smile and I will get along with just about anyone. I am great at making friends. I am also a hard working individual who is extremely loyal and will work to become a better individual. As for liesure, I really enjoy just about anything from going out to watching a sporting event at home. Some things that I enjoy are cooking, music, outdoor stuff, video games, movies and TV.
31, Geneseo, ILA little bit about me... I am a confident, fun-loving, Catholic who is passionate about my faith. I am laid back and can be witty at times. I am probably one of the most genuine people you will ever meet if you get the chance. My faith is something that I strive to live everyday and is a quality that I look for in a future spouse. I have a deep love for family, and God-willing, I would want a big family. If you aren't open to the possibility of a big family, then we probably would not be a good fit. While technology is great and has its place, I still prefer to get to know people in person. I am the type of guy that would like to meet you in-person sooner rather than later.
40, Galesburg, ILI don't know what I am most passionate about. Currently I am returning to school to seek a degree in radiology technology, but have a degree as a school psychologist (not currently practicing). The most influential people in my life have been by parents and sister. In the leisure time that I have I enjoy watching movies.
51, Knoxville, ILNot real sure what to say. I'm not one who likes to reveal too much information online. Since I am just getting started, I will edit this in the near future. I am one who will speak my mind, though.
27, Lincoln, ILI'm the oldest of 10 kids, family is very important. I work a lot, and I don't have any designated leisure time. When I do find a minute, I like to visit with friends and family, play some disc golf, or work on personal goals. I was born and raised Catholic I consider myself extremely fortunate to have such a great example from my parents. I'm a people person, and enjoy logic and analysis. Fun!
26, Tremont, ILHello, my name is Johnny and my biggest passion is my faith in Christ! I am a gentleman and I believe that I should have been a part of the WWII generation, I am old school haha. My dream is to have a big, traditional family and a home full of love, kindness, and laughter. I have received my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and I have experience working in the construction industry as well. I currently have two jobs: I work for Hampton Inn & Suites in East Peoria and also for the Tremont Area Park District. I have passed the examinations to become an electrician's apprentice and just have to undergo the interview process. I believe that I am going to pursue that endeavor. I want to be able to provide for my family in the future and being a licensed electrician will ensure me to do so. I was baptized and confirmed into the United Methodist Church and in the past year have decided to solidify my faith in the Holy Trinity. I attend Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and I feel like I have truly found my home in the Lord! God Bless us all and I hope to gain contact with the right woman that God has in mind for me!
