30, Roscoe, ILI'm a devout Catholic originally from Evergreen, Colorado. I was in the Infantry for a number of years, and will be graduating from Nursing school shortly. I enjoy working out and anything related to the Faith. My family and I are very close, and my fellow soldiers were some of the best friends I ever had.

79, Hampshire, ILI am passionate about 1) Attending Mass each week and the ministries (Usher, Greeter and Eucharistic Minister) for which I volunteer. 2) My family: all 17 kids, 25 grandkids and 8 great grand kids. I enjoy being with them for all of the various family gatherings. 3) My vegetable garden and maintaining a nice yard for both the neighbors and myself. 4) The Knights of Columbus, I have been an officer since the day I joined 15 years ago. In 2016, I served on 40 Honor Guards. The most influential person in my life was my wife. We celebrated 50 years of marriage prior to her death in January 2011. I loved her a little more each day from the moment I first saw her. She was the joy of my life. She challenged me to be better and to do more. She supported me in all of our endeavors. We were there for each other in good times and those not so good. One desire of mine is to make other people smile, even strangers. I enjoy giving and receiving hugs. It is an important part of my social life. I am an excessive volunteer with an average of 30 hours per week. I want to remarry. But only the right woman.
53, South Elgin, ILIm an intense and passionate man. I work hard, play hard, and love deeply. I like to live life in "full color" and I give of myself willingly to those I care about. I enjoy many activities and interests. Among them are music of all kinds. I like pretty much anything from blues to metal to country to classical. The only thing I wont listen to is rap. I love live music and comedy shows. I enjoy weight lifting, hiking, shooting sports, fishing,Jeep expeditions, and pretty much anything outdoors, I like baseball games (Go Go Sox!!) and Bears football. I strive to be a renaissance man and pride myself on being well rounded and balanced. I can be equally comfortable in a suit and tie or shorts and a tee shirt. I have two great kids and a good career. All I lack is a partner and best friend to share it all with :-)
75, Elburn, ILHonesty and sincerity are essential ingredients for long lasting friendships. Complementary strength and weaknesses are preferred to bind the friendship indefinitely. No games, no double talk and optimistic outlook on the future. We all know the ex did not act in good faith, no need to dwell on the past, seeking a bright future. As the saying goes "mistakes are stepping stones for future victories." (Fr. Malone 1960, U of D)
39, Aurora, ILHello beautiful! There are so many great looking ladies here on CM, and you're one of them! I just wanted to let you know. Sometimes I'm in the chat room -- look for me there! Also look for me at Catholic activities in the western suburbs. And, I don't mind if you message me first! So about me. I'm a very kind, caring, and generous person with great listening skills and witty humor. I'm generally reserved, so sometimes it is hard to come out of my shell -- I usually like to meet people first in a social situation. I try to find some Catholic social groups in the area (Theology on Tap, Spirit and Truth, and some other church affiliated groups). However, once I get to know you, my sarcastic side can really pop out and get people rolling on the ground - depending on how easily amused you can be. I was generally a social outcast during my formative years, to which I decided to "tune out". I don't follow societal trends/TV/Movies/reality shows. I do follow politics, as many policy decisions have a bearing on my life and the life we are supposed to live as good Catholics. BTW, I somehow found "Ron Paul" listed as a "Reading" subject. I don't follow Ron Paul or his literature, but I thought the fact that the entry exists on CM was amusing enough to include on the profile.
36, Rockford, ILHi :),My name is Augustine -spelled as I prefer to phonetically pronounce my name.Let's be chatty and truly friendly only for now.I am only looking for what might become a true friendship.I am(edit/change-"a survivor of mental illness" to "after some thought,am in the midst of figuring out if I am bad off mentally as some have lead me to question and go throuh full official Soc. Sec. Diagnosis in my past." I am coming from a closed off life of introvertedness into a world opened up by a hope of Jesus Christ at His true church built upon the rock,Peter, where I believe true Christianity is practiced.I was diagnosed with ocd, anxiety, schizoaffective (bipolar schizophrenia mix).I am also coming from a life surrounded by protestant and non denominational church patronizing experiences.I am looking for someone who has been there, same religious background experiences and behaviours that cause our lived ones to ask us "Are you okay?","Why Aren't you hitting your milestones ?" (Maybe? Because really where should I be by this age of 36?)I believe I should have ,at least,a GED and a car.But I don't.I am stubborn to stay cobsistenly or even to rarely start improving myself all my life.In the name of The Catholic Holy Spirit,I am going to leave this profile open for 7 complete days in hope of finding only friends.I will take it down afterwards, because as I type this,I am embarrassed of my self and I wouldn't want to keep it up until I have fixed my flaws and am ready in God's casual timing as I mingle and if it feels natural and what God has put and I cant shake from my my heart and all my internal self for a special true love of the rest of my life. I can be a good listening ear to share your experiences with mental illness with. I love Jesus Christ because His power has given me faith to overcome and enter into life ready to face whatever comes my way with His wisdom to His glory. Also an edit is I believe the Church's teaching on the Eucharist and Papal infallibility. In the name of the Catholic Holy Spirit,so may this profile Glorify The Catholic Church ,and to be honest I am a day dreamer and can have an inclination to let my attention's favorite pastime abd occupation to frequent most of the time a pretty face.I really need to shape up and I'm feeling daydreamy right now.
30, Ohio, ILI am a former seminarian working in politics. I enjoy good company, going to the movies, and laughing deeply. Life is an adventure and I have had my fair share of it. I am more a collector of moments not things.
23, Aurora, ILHey I'm Tim! I was of course raised in Catholic school and I'm looking for a meaningful relationship with god as a part. I just recently graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Industrial Engineering Technology and I currently work as a machining technologist. I'm glad and thankful to be off campus and having a nice career there was a lot of sin in that school. My favorite thing to do by far is fish. I love catching bass. If you view my profile and like me please fire a message my way I'm very approachable!
83, Cary, ILI look forward to travel. I like computers. I like going and watching movies. Taking short trips and seating be the water watching the boats. I like to take walks.
75, Elburn, ILExercise, rest, travel, visit children/grandchildren and of course the internet. I simply wonder how we lived without the internet for so many years. And yes, there was what was called DARPANET and INSTANET but ease-of-use, forget it. It took forever to learn how to use the system. I am an inventor, AUTHOR, father of 3 children and grandfather of four-of-a-kind, all girls.
50, Elburn, ILI'm learning to play the cello, and I'm slowly getting better (or not as bad) over time. I also like to learn languages, and I've been studying French and German with some computer programs.
