31, Aurora, ILI wear many hats. For one thing, I like wearing hats. For another, I also do a lot of stuff. I'm an organist and singer at a few parishes in the area -- that's my real passion, and it makes me happy. I write marketing copy -- that's what pays the mortgage (I bought a house three years ago). I'm a fake uncle (to my friends' three kids) and a real uncle (to my sister and brother-in-law's beautiful baby boy, who is objectively the best baby ever). You better bet I went crazy when the Cubs won the World Series! And I love the Blackhawks as well. (The Bears are OK, if they were better.) I love bicycling, singing, and taking walks through the neighborhood, and I'm always up for a good game of poker or Scrabble. What I'd love to do one day: * Become a full-time church musician * Appear on "Jeopardy!" * Take a nice, long road trip out west * And, of course, get married and have kids It's a quiet life, but it's a good one. And I'd love to have someone join me in it.
33, Aurora, ILMy faith is a very important part of my life. I also like to play sports, draw, play the guitar and sing. Now that I know you've read my profile don't be surprised if you get a message from me. In that case you get an emoji! Lucky you! Talk to you soon.
26, Dekalb, ILHello!! I guess I don't really know where to start. So here we go... My parents and grandparents have influenced who I am greatly. My mom and dad have taught me to never give up and pursue your dreams, mom went back to school to become a nurse when I was in high school and both of them have supported us (my brother sister and I) in whatever we do. Grandma and Grandpa helped to show us what love and sacrifice is. They were married for over 55 years before grandma passed away, and Grandpa was the primary care giver for Grandma over the last 2 years of her life. As a side note one of the things I like to do in my spare time is work on antique tractors and maybe a snowmobile here and there. Also I am involved in the Knights of Columbus Council in my area.
33, Geneva, ILLord, I believe: I wish to believe in Thee. Lord, let my faith be full and unreserved, and let it penetrate my thought, my way of judging Divine things and human things. Lord, let my faith be joyful and give peace and gladness to my spirit, and dispose it for prayer with God and conversation with men, so that the inner bliss of its fortunate possession may shine forth in sacred and secular conversation. Lord, let my faith be humble and not presume to be based on the experience of my thought and of my feeling; but let it surrender to the testimony of the Holy Spirit, and not have any better guarantee than in docility to Tradition and to the authority of the magisterium of the Holy Church. Amen.
26, Saint Charles, ILHey there! My name is Ethan. I am what you might call an "extroverted introvert" -- a quiet character with a bit of a wild, thespian side! I enjoy trying exotic foods with names I can't pronounce, and playing my part in the theatre of the everyday (after all, as Shakespeare tells us, "All the world's a stage!"). I am a listener above all else -- I have an affinity for words and the thoughts they convey, the places they take us, the people who share them. Perhaps you will share a word with me?
21, Crystal Lake, ILCaring, easy going, loyal, and young at heart are ways that I could be described. I enjoy cooking, biking, photography and basketball. I love being Catholic and going to mass and adoration. I have had Type 1 Diabetes since I was a child, this has led me to live a healthy, and active lifestyle. Even though I have it very well managed, being a Type 1 Diabetic is not always easy, but it has made a stronger person and made me realize the importance of faith in our everyday lives. I Never let it stop me from doing anything, and I always try to make the best of it. I'm more than happy to talk more about this, so if you have a question don't hesitate to ask me. I like to help out, and always try to put others first. My family and friends would say that I'm fun to be with and that I have a good sense of humor. I'm a very family oriented person and I love kids (especially my little cousins). Biking is one of my favorite activities (casual biking, not racing). I'm also interested in photography and enjoy taking pictures outside. I always find being in the kitchen fun and I love to cook. I like to try different recipes and even make up my own, I really want to write my own cookbook someday.
21, Wayne, ILHi, I'm Joe. I'm a dedicated Catholic attending community college, and as such, has very few connections with like-minded people my age. I'm still trying to figure out if this site is the right medium for a vocation, but hey, it wouldn't exist if it wasn't possible. I'm passionate about optimizing anything and everything, which has led me to bounce back and forth between Engineering and Business majors. I have considered consecrated life and visited a couple of orders, and to some extent the priesthood. I'm not sure how to define "actively" discerning, but I will always be open to whatever vocation God may call me to. Above all, I strive to be sincere in every thought, word, and deed. I sometimes drop the ball when it comes to responding to messages. I have a tendency to try to impress people, but I'm trying to eliminate that part of me (which is harder than I thought). I try to make being a nerd cool, and want to change the world using technology. Have a wonderful day!
27, Rockford, ILHi, I am Johnny! This is my first time ever being on a website like this, so have patience as I am trying to figure out what to put on here. I love vacationing in Florida.
