32, Aurora, ILI wear many hats. For one thing, I like wearing hats. For another, I also do a lot of stuff. I'm an organist and singer at a few parishes in the area -- that's my real passion, and it makes me happy. I write marketing copy -- that's what pays the mortgage (I bought a house three years ago). I'm a fake uncle (to my friends' three kids) and a real uncle (to my sister and brother-in-law's beautiful baby boy, who is objectively the best baby ever; there are two more nieces/nephews on the way!). You better bet I went crazy when the Cubs won the World Series! And I love the Blackhawks as well. (The Bears are OK, if they were better.) I love bicycling, singing, and taking walks through the neighborhood, and I'm always up for a good game of poker or Scrabble. What I'd love to do one day: * Become a full-time church musician * Appear on "Jeopardy!" * Take a nice, long road trip out west * And, of course, get married and have kids It's a quiet life, but it's a good one. And I'd love to have someone join me in it.
33, Aurora, ILMy faith is a very important part of my life. I also like to play sports, draw, play the guitar and sing. Now that I know you've read my profile don't be surprised if you get a message from me. In that case you get an emoji! Lucky you! Talk to you soon.
26, Dekalb, ILHello!! I guess I don't really know where to start. So here we go... My parents and grandparents have influenced who I am greatly. My mom and dad have taught me to never give up and pursue your dreams, mom went back to school to become a nurse when I was in high school and both of them have supported us (my brother sister and I) in whatever we do. Grandma and Grandpa helped to show us what love and sacrifice is. They were married for over 55 years before grandma passed away, and Grandpa was the primary care giver for Grandma over the last 2 years of her life. As a side note one of the things I like to do in my spare time is work on antique tractors and maybe a snowmobile here and there. Also I am involved in the Knights of Columbus Council in my area.
29, Sycamore, ILWhen initially meeting someone, I can be a little quiet. However, after getting to know someone a little better and finding some common ground I open up a lot more. I have a good sense of humor, and can even dish out some laughs myself. Currently, I am working for an Aerospace Company as a Software Engineer. My asset from school may be programming, but my true passion is writing. I love to write stories and anecdotes, whether they be fact or fiction. Currently I am in the process of publishing a fantasy novel. My goal is to one day be able to meld my programming assets with my love for writing, in a field such as video game design. As for hobbies, I have quite a few. The obvious ones for many Software Engineers would be playing Video Games and spending some time on the computer. I also enjoy watching television and movies with family and friends; my favorite genres are probably action and comedy, but I am a fan of many other genres as well. However, I do enjoy getting out of the house. This may involve going with a group to a bowling alley, theater, concert, sporting events or restaurant; otherwise I enjoy playing Basketball, Football, Golf, Volleyball, going bike riding or taking a hike in woods or in the mountains (yeah, not too many mountains around here, so guess most of the mountain hikes will have to wait for trips). Other times, I enjoy sitting around with at least one other person and just talking for a little while, whether it be about a specific topic or just random conversations.
34, Wayne, ILI like to laugh and have fun all the time. I like to exercise, play and watch sports especially hockey. I like the oldies music and my perfect date would be a candlelight dinner with classical or Dean Martin music in the background.
23, Ohio, ILI'm not very good at these things, but I listen to all kinds of music, I love to travel, I like the TV shows; CSI, Supernatural, Bates Motel, The Simpsons, and Family Guy
25, Dekalb, ILCiao! My name is Vincent, I go by 'Vinny'. I am a history major at Northern Illinois University working towards my bachelors degree. My favorite area of study is Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, and Catholic history. Christ is an ever changing influce in my life. I was born, but not raised Catholic and I had left the church for ten years before I found Christ in ny life again. I have been on a long spiritual journey that continues to this day. I am proud to be Italian and that part of my life factors greatly into what I eat and enjoy. I love spaghetti, pizza, zeppole, cannoli, Italian music, Italian culture, Italian history, and so much more. In my leisure time I enjoy playing video games (PC and console), roleplaying games, pub crawling (I never get drunk), watching movies (Star Wars God Father are my favorite), Fencing (I am quite the swordsman), Knights of Columbus events (I am a proud 3rd Degree), and hust going out altogether.
34, Woodstock, ILI am a cradle Catholic. I enjoy listening to Relevant Radio, attending Eucharistic Adoration from time-to-time, and I enjoy nature! I find a lot of the saints to be very inspiring and I love reading about them and their lives. I enjoy reading, writing, poetry, writing poetry, going for walks, and am usually open to trying new things. I am open-minded and a great listener. I prefer to listen to other people talk about themselves more than I do talking about myself, but once I get comfortable I tend to babble and ramble. I can be emotional and sentimental at times. I consider myself to be in the process of discerning my vocation in life. I want, more than anything, to live my life the way the Lord wants. To live for Him and accept everything and anything He has in store for my life. I am always quick to jump to any opportunity to share my faith with anyone.
30, Loves Park, ILBasically i love life and i love living life. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, restaurants, laughing, going to cultural events, and socializing with quality people. Its just better living and sharing life with someone else [?]
27, Aurora, ILFaith is one of the most important things in my life, as I am a high school theology teacher. I absolutely love my career, as I am blessed every day with the opportunity to get to know some really awesome individuals, discuss faith, and hopefully inspire/support others. It was never originally what I imagined doing, but I truly believe it is where God led me in my life. My love for faith and teaching may only be rivaled by my love for baseball (as I also coach HS baseball). Most of my leisure time is often, in some way, dedicated to these things (and keeping my crazy dog occupied). Other than that, let's see...I am a picky eater. I love country music. I once won a rocker/paper/scissors tournament - just in case you're ever in need of someone for that. And I'm pretty sure I make some great guacamole. Oh, and proper use of there/their/they're is basically a deal breaker... ;) If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to reach out!
31, Elgin, ILI dont really have a passion that i can say get to know me and you will see i come frome a very close familly. Im the seven of a ten children family.
26, Woodstock, ILI consider myself to be a hard-working, God-fearing, family oriented kind of guy. I'm physically, mentally and spiritually strong and hope to find a girl with similar traits. Chivalry is definitely not dead...you will know that within minutes of meeting me. I know women are perfectly capable of doing anything, but allow me to open doors for you, carry anything just so you won't have to and throw my coat over a puddle for you to step on. I am a firm believer that hard work ultimately pays off and can be even more rewarding when you're passionate about what it is you do. I am self-employed in craftsmanship and enjoy every minute of it. (Just got on this site and writing about myself is not as easy as I thought... I will add more to my profile soon and hope that this intro meets minimum charater requirements. Yes, that was meant to be funny.). Meanwhile, I hope you enjoyed my quick read and wish you the best in your journey. Language: English and Spanish
