During my free time I like to go fishing when I can. I fill in other gaps by reading various books, and play pool. I also have developed a hobby of studying quotes and historical speeches. I have been working on learning guitar for a while now but I am determined to learn it. I grew up on a farm and I am looking forward to moving back to it one day. I work for a soil testing company and just began an attempt to write a book. I have a decent taste in music I believe. While I have found myself listening more and more to country stations. I have been known to enjoy some Goo Goo Dolls, Nickelback and a few others as well. I enjoy meeting people and love to talk and share stories. Sometimes I wonder if I should try an open stage night and see about a career in comedy. I will have to think about that one some more though. Everyone has a story to tell. I am game for meeting and swapping stories.
I realize there are a lot of "men" out there who give other men a bad name. However I think its safe to say that you would find that "[Jesus] and I would get along just fine and he would understand a heart like mine..." hopefully you will find out also!
I feel very strongly about honoring promises, and I value my family and friends greatly. I am a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus. I am traditional in practices of the church but I am not an ultra traditionalist and an ultra ultra conservative person.
Love & Live! That is my motto in life. If you live without loving then you are not living but when you love as best you can then you are truly living. That's how simple I am.
I always put my best foot forward, the first to volunteer, lead the "charge" among my friends, and strive to be honest and direct in everything I do in life.
Recent college graduate. Work in Finance in Clayton. Live across the river in Edwardsville. 24 years young, although some days it feels old. Currently fixing up a 90 year old house in my spare time. Mac and Cheese Connoisseur. Lover of Travel. Blessed to have the life I do and passionate to help those that aren't as fortunate. Live by Padre Pio's motto, "Pray, Hope and Don't Worry."
I grew up in a small town right next to Springfield. After finishing grad school, I took a job working for the state. I am the youngest of three children. I do enjoy spending time with my family and friends. When I am with my friends, we would have the occasional game night, go out to eat, or play trivia, but I do enjoy the occasional quite night at home.
Hello! I'm Patrick from a central Illinois farm town. Born and raised farm boy, but has also traveled the country for work and fun. Very Irish and tight knit family, full of rowdy boys that like to have fun. I work hard and sometimes too much, but make sure to be where I should be, sometime dirty though. I don't drink or go out these days, but unfortunately have had a drinking/drug problem in the past. Those days are over and I give thanks for that everyday. I love all people and still haven't met a stranger....stick up for anyone that needs it.....live in the country, spend most my time farming, lots of livestock, dogs, cats, horses, donkeys and whatever else finds its way here. Have a couple other jobs and small businesses.
Howdy! I'm James - recent college graduate, guitar nerd, literary enthusiast, and sports fanatic. The things I am most passionate about are music, politics, conservation, Oklahoma football, a good pint of Guinness, and trying to wrap my head around Aquinas' Suma. I suppose it's rather self evident, but I'm also very passionate about my faith. It's been a tremendous part of my life, and I love our beautiful Church and everything about it!
Hunting, fishing, sport shooting are all things I like to do in my free time, along with just driving around and working on my motorcycle.
I'm a Catholic college student dedicated to my studies. I'm passionate about my faith, family, education, and sports, in that order. I'm a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan, and plan on pursuing a career in baseball administration.
I work as a Ground Operations Agent at the airport and am going to school for Philosophy. I read alot: Dante, Charles Dickens, G.K. Chesterton, Venerable Fulton Sheen. My exercise consists of hard work and the prostrations that I do when I pray which I learned from the Greek Orthodox Church. I was baptized Catholic but my parents started attending the Lutheran church (which is what mom was) when I was 2. I was a serious Lutheran until 18 after which time I became an atheist, well pagan then atheist, then just a seeker. I have studied all the religions and experienced them but am glad to be home since October of 2016 thanks in large part to the Rosary and Introduction to Christianity by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, this conversion started in August and followed five years of membership in the Greek Orthodox Church during which time I explored a vocation to monasticism.
Growing up I was scared to death of girls and am just now learning to approach them, but I know that I want to give my heart to someone and have her to love and to hold.
