I have been told I am a generous, thoughtful, and ambitious person. I enjoy the outdoors (particularly the beach and water: swimming, snorkeling, scuba, etc.) and all types of activities and sports (my golf and tennis games need improvement). I am blessed with a good Catholic upbringing as well as the fine art of gentlemanly manners (never extend your hand to greet a lady, until she extends her hand first, never wear a baseball cap at the table, etc.). I would like to think I have a fairly widespread area of interests. I enjoy grabbing a burger as well as dining. I also enjoy going to ballgames and the myriad of festivals during our terrific Chicago summers. I appreciate going to a niece or nephew recital, U2 at Madison Square Garden, or Springsteen at Shea. I have an attraction to the arts whether it be on canvas at a museum or the symphony. I am a dog lover. I enjoy travel and hope to expand my destinations. My professional career was entirely in one industry, but I have now changed industries. The challenges are numerous, but I enjoy the new profession I have chosen. I am healthy, happy, and working on becoming wiser.

Hi, my name is Dan and I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and have always lived here. I am a practicing Latin-Rite Catholic and someone who takes the Faith seriously. I tend to be quirky, weird, kind, gentle, romantic, and affectionate. I also like to joke around, but I know when to stop. I graduated in May 2010 from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Administration and currently work for a bank. I like to read, I love art, and I enjoy the art of cinema, but my real, intense passion is for music and architecture; I am working on a solo electronic music project titled The Color Army and discerning attending graduate school to study architecture. I have also begun to dabble with DJing but I haven't started gigging yet, but hopefully in time I will. I also enjoy traditional choral music and Renaissance polyphony (I did choir all four years of high school), along with chant. I am also interested in sociological, political, and economic matters, and I take interest in social developments and movements. I currently live in Evanston, just north of Chicago. I'm also really into modern architecture...REALLY into it! If you're interested message me!
  • John, 46 from Evanston, IL
    46, Evanston, IL
I am passionate about family, especially being the best father that I can be to my daughter, staying loyal to and supporting friends however I can and (while it is straining at times) Notre Dame football. When I am home in Evanston, I am generally up for a bike ride or walk through the many lakefront parks and can often be found with my daughter on the beach in the summers or sledding hills in winter. I enjoy cooking and trying to grow my own vegetables on my patio, but generally those end up feeding the squirrels more than they do us. To relax, I spend quite of bit of time reading, honing my rapier like wit and trying to challenge and expand my learning - I probably have more math related t-shirts than any other type. If you are looking for something similar, I would be happy to hear from you.
  • David, 48 from Evanston, IL
    48, Evanston, IL
I am a clean-cut, traditional guy. I was born and raised in a small town in central Illinois. I have a bachelors degree in accounting from Notre Dame and MBA from Northwestern and have lived in either Chicago or Evanston since graduation. I currently work in consulting for a large accounting firm. I have traveled extensively for work and pleasure including London, Rome, Berlin, Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, and Sydney. I have spent the majority of my life focusing on my career--oftentimes to the detriment of my personal life. I am very close to my family and have spent countless weekends cheering on my nephews at their football or basketball games and look forward to having my own kids someday. My Catholic faith is extremely important to me, and I am actively involved in my local parish. I am looking for a long term relationship. I definitely want to get married and start a family and am looking for a like-minded, never-married SWF. If you are interested, I look forward to hearing from you.

I am passionate about my kids, my extended family, and America. My family has been the center of my life since they were born. Now that the last one has started college I'm looking to get out and do more things for me, although I still love to do things with them. I am retired from the Army. I am extremely patriotic and very conservative. I love everything American. I have a very eclectic set of interests. I like to hang out at home and watch TV, read, or work on collecting, but I also like to go out to dinner, shows or just with Friend. I also like to camp and hike and continue to work with the Boy Scouts (both of my sons are Eagle Scouts).

I am an independent person. I was raised in the catholic family with an old tradition, we have always valued certain family and tradition issues like patriotism, family values etc. I have my passions in life and have been looking for a passionate woman, with independent professional and personal/ family passions and interests. Tradition is an important value, but the most important thing is tomorrow, which I would like to share with the only one. I still believe that good things come to those who can wait !

I just joined on Good Friday and pray that I'm blessed with meeting a woman with strong morals and values. I look forward to living the rest of my life with a lady who's faith in God comes first and foremost. I enjoy very simple things in life. Love of God, compassion for others, humility family and friends are what's important. I have come back to my faith on and off for most of my life but after losing several family members and a job lose some 15 years ago I found my strength to move forward came from God. Now I pray and hope I will be blessed with the love of a good Catholic woman.

Hi! I am a friendly artistic guy. I love teaching, playing jazz piano, and stimulating conversation. I pray and read the Bible often. I also try to keep a sense of humor about things. I like most animals, but especially love dogs. I like to play spoons. People describe me as easy-going, intelligent, creative, unusual, offbeat, well educated, sensitive, spiritual, and artistic. I enjoy cooking and almost anything that is creative. I am fascinated by a wide variety and get bored easily without some form of intellectual stimulation. At times I am prone to melancholy moods, yet my playful side and enjoyment of dry wit and outright silliness sometimes surprises others so much that they often cannot tell whether I am being serious or not. I adore the feminine form and believe the female body to be one of God's loveliest, most wondrous creations. The sight or presence of a beautiful woman brings me great happiness, awe-inspired tenderness and joy that my heart leaps up within me.Surely, sexual attraction is one of God's greatest gifts, and yet I have always been shy with women, and often prefer women who are a bit physically aggressive toward me. There is nothing un-ladylike about a woman who's not afraid to pursue the first move. I have dated women considerably older and younger than myself. In general I prefer the company of a younger woman who has tender and playful qualities, as well as intelligence and a creative bent. Intelligence turns me on. Jaded cynicism turns me off. There is a strong maternal and nurturing streak in me that I have found bright younger women are more willing to accept from me as the genuine caring that it is.

I know life can be difficult and sad at times, but there is so much beauty and wonder in it... We must be thankful for it! I am so thankful for all the wonderful things I have in my life- my family, friends, neighbors, community, home, food... I hope I can share my life with someone truly special! I am so thankful for God the Father, Jesus, Mother Mary, and all the saints, and good people. We are all truly blessed! I hope to find a special woman who will love me and who will be loved by me!

I'm fun-loving, easy-going, and family-centered. My faith is very important to me but the Spirit is far more important than the Letter of the Law. I'm looking for someone who wants to go to Church with me on Sundays. :)

I've been running lately... overexerted myself for sure. Knees are out of shape... I have a fascination with math as well. I'm not currently working. I did work as a professional blogger for a while. 'Worked at a bookstore as well. I really like right now. I feel close to Lord Jesus and am not fretting too much over what I end up doing.
