I am a retired engineer seeking a happy fun loving loyal caring partner. I enjoy outdoor activities, cooking, entertaining, playing cards, gardening, site seeing, yard sales and DIY projects. My outdoor activities include walking, fishing, golf, bicycling and watching sunsets while listening to smooth jazz or classical music. Let us dance, walk in state parks holding hands, enjoy quiet night restaurants listening to smooth music soft jazz and pleasant conversation, taking fun day trips, planning vacations traveling cooking together quiet evenings going, to church and family activities. I am a Catholic with 16 years of Catholic education and attend church weekly. I have served on parish activities committiees and presently directing parish modernization. I have completed the annulment process and have been given an internal forum annulment. I learned engineering at a college in Memphis, however the finer things that Memphis offered were jazz and blues on Beial Street. BB King and similar artist practice their soul music in the cotton market. Being retired has many good points but you have an over abundant of time to explore new adventures and meet new people. Exploration is considerably more enjoyable when you have someone to share it with. I am seeking a happy fun loving and loyal interesting exploring partner that we can develop a friendship for each other, that could lead to marriage. The future can be more rewarding when exploring together. Maybe you can be the one to share lives adventure.

I was born and raised in Indiana and I come from a large, close family. I just moved back to Indiana 5 years ago after living in several different states, mostly in the South. I'm currently an Insurance Investigator for a company in Indianapolis and spent many years in the retail industry in the Loss Prevention/Security field. I served in the U S Army for 6 1/2 years and I'm currently in the Naval Reserves entering my 13th year. I have 3 years of college completed pursuing a BA degree in History and want to pursue my Masters in American Revolutionary history. As for interest, I love music (Hard Rock/Classic, Punk, Alternative and Blues), I play golf (but not as often as I used to), I run approximately 25-30 miles a week (I belong to a running club) and I love college football and I'm a huge Notre Dame & Navy fan.

Hi! I'm a big family guy who loves enjoying life and everything that comes with it. Would love to find someone to share that with. I work hard and am very ambitious to make the most of myself but also know how to have a good time and let loose. I have a big close family and cherish my friendships. I love to be active and try new things. Traveling and adventures are great, but I enjoy a comfortable night in just as much!

In my spare time, I enjoy working out during the week and taking walks on the weekends, doing maintence on my car, or spending time with friends and family.

Back when i was interviewing for my first job, a common question asked by interviewers was "tell me about yourself". Back then, i rambled on and on about my volunteer work, hobbies, and leadership style, but none of that seems to apply in this situation. I guess what you really want to know is that I have a customer service job where I am "on-call" 24/7. I don't make a lot of plans because they often get interrupted by work. I look forward to new movies that come out and dinner reservations, mostly because 2 hour movies and dinner are both situations where I can step out and answer a phone call. As far as bigger goals, I am working to get in shape for the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon next year (up to 4.5 miles, only another 9 to go). I love watching football, science fiction movies, and stupid sitcoms (i have a unhealthy, shameful obsession with these). I do play fantasy football, which essentially makes me a nerd who doesn't hate sports (however Star Trek is still pretty awesome). I bike whenever i get the opportunity to do so and i enjoy camping. I also love road trips, while hating having to drive to complete errands. About a year ago, i was relocated for work to NW Georgia. I am actively working to get back to Indianapolis full-time, but as of right now i spend about 50% of my time there. I expect to be back full-time in Indy by mid-to-late November. Now that i have rambled on for the past 1,433 characters (gotta love the character count thing on this site), i can tell you that conversations with me are fairly similar. Talking to me is a bit... erratic... but i can stay on topic if the situation calls for it. I dont really know how to end this rambling mess of a personal summary. I guess I'm done....

I'm one of those personalities that folks either 'get' right away, or not at all. My friendships are more about quality than quantity and my artistic/musical side (I play the piano by ear) is balanced by an analytical, BS-detecting left brain. Comedian Don Rickles is my hero...he is classy, but everyone is fair game. While I have some fairly deep uncertainties about whether I'm called to be a dad, I have had my fill of casual dating and am ultimately looking for something long-term. Humor is one of my best traits...but my dating etiquette does not involve games, and chivalry is neither dead nor optional in my book. If you understand all that and are capable of tossing a friendly zinger or two my way, that's a great start. If you expect to beat me in a dancing or Karaoke contest, you will be disappointed. If you can fake your way through a home-cooked meal, I'll gladly do the dishes and kill the spiders. One last note...I attended a terrific nondenominational church my first three years in Indianapolis, also was a Young Life leader in college and attended a great nondenominational camp growing up despite remaining Catholic throughout. And I was a bit uncomfortable with the number of yes/no questions regarding Church doctrine, given that I am a better Catholic due to the people and experiences in the non-Catholic-but-Christian realm. (That doesn't mean I am looking to leave the Church...).
