I am a hard working person who enjoys the beauty that God placed on this earth to enjoy. I love people and have an interest in various cultures. When not working I fully take to heart my quality time. I am an ardent movie watcher. I cherish the times that I have to just get away from it all.

So they say "good things come to those who wait". Well, I can honestly tell you that I would not have what I have today by sitting around keeping my fingers crossed and waiting. My Career is in construction, and there's a lot of sharks out there. As a person who knows how to act, show commitment, and stay motivated, I can proudly say that I have a great career and lifestyle, and am looking to share my life with a woman who is the same and looks for success in anything she does. I'm an excellent balance of sophistication and professionalism, mixed with just the right amount of mischief, adventure and humor. I can be a genuine gentleman, true romantic, and that's what keeps things exciting. I love the look of world during the fall, which is my favorite season-- the colors of changing leaves, cooler temperatures, picking apples at Garwood's, Bears football, pumpkin flavored latte, and the smell of a bonfire. The views from the trails in the National Park on a long hike are very therapeutic. Other seasons of the year, Ill be at the beach playing volley ball, jet skiing, walking along Michigan Avenue, enjoying one of Chicagos new restaurants, or catch the occasional program at the CSO. My friends and family are very important to me as I would hope they are to you. I enjoy good conversation on many topics and love to tell and listen to life's stories. I look forward to laughing and sharing our stories one day over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, or some other delicious beverage.

My favorite sayings are "truth is unpopular"; "the moment you think you've gained humility, you've lost it"; "cada cabeza ed un mundo" (every mind is another world) "If there were no God there would be no atheists"- G K Chesterton. I'm a freelance writer. Have lived in Mexico City, Ft. Collins, San Francisco, Pensacola. Born and raised in Tucson. Other than for reasons of intellectual snobbery, I've never understood why 100 per cent of the time people will say "the book was better than the movie" but never the other way around. Or why whenever someone claims to be part Native American it's always "Cherokee", as though there are no other Indian tribes. I have 10 grandchildren with one on the way. I find nothing more difficult than being a practicing Catholic, and yet nothing more important nor rewarding. I'm blessed to have been raised in the one, true faith although I apostatized in my youth but eventually crawled back thanks to my mother's rosary. I wear a crucifix that was given to her by one of three martyrs she knew who gave up their lives for the faith during the Spanish Civil War or as we Franquistas call it La Cruzada. Viva Cristo Rey!
