  • Robert, 62 from Valparaiso, IN

    62, Valparaiso, IN
    Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Bob and I live in Valparaiso, Indiana. I am retired from the FBI and moved back to my hometown after a 24 year career. I am a licensed attorney in Indiana and do a small amount of attorney work. Recently, I have started visiting close family in the countryside outside of Versailles, Kentucky. Usually, we go out for dinner once or twice, so I am also looking for a nice lady who would like to join us for dinner. Also, if you are a little more adventurous, we also do some campfires down there,. I also like to shoot my old fashioned bows (I don't hunt) down there. We also do a little bit of caving down there, but it is very dangerous. We could also maybe visit a distillery or winery, although I am not a big drinker. I think I will be down in Kentucky about 12/1/15, or thereabouts. Right now, I am spending some time learning oil painting. I don't know what my future plans will be. I am financially stable. I own my own house. I used to enjoy walking my dog in the evening. He weighed125 pounds and his name wasSnowy. He has gone on to dog heaven, and I miss going for dog walks. I have to admit that I have a bad smoking habit. I am a lifelong Catholic and as time goes on it has become more and more important to me. I usually attend the Bible Study classes when our church has them and find them to be mostly very interesting. I like to go out to dinner, movies now and then, and go to Chicago. I don't go to bars much because I don't need an expensive DWI ticket. If I had to pick something to drink, I guess a glass of German wine and some German food would be good. (Anybody know a good German restaraunt?) Anybody who reads I wish you the very best. (And that at least now and then, I hope we all get that very special Peace of Christ in our lives). (And I took the profile photo myself with my telephone. I hope I look a little bit better than that, but probably look worse.

    24, Griffith, IN
    Hi I'm Steven. A big part of my time has gone to charity; boy scouts, venturing(BSA), my parish's teen group and men's club, and I'm also big in the Knights of Columbus. Through all my years growing up: earning my Eagle Scout and joining the K of C were pretty profound events in my life. And through my adventures almost everyone I've met has had a significant influence in my life. I enjoy working with my hand during my leisure time. I'm currently studying to be a mechanical engineer, and I am also training to become an officer in the United States Army. I have gotten out of life and I have a lot to give back. I'm a gigantic nerd, you know star wars, star trek, lord of the rings, marvel, DC, and history are a passion.
  • Scott, 39 from St John, IN
    {%action_menu%}
    39, St John, IN
    Hello! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Scott. What can I say? I'm an outgoing, enjoy company and try-to-keep-busy kind of guy. I like to keep things simple for the most part and I'm really not that interested in keeping up with the Joneses. I generally like to have a plan, but I do enjoy rolling the dice to add spontaneity to mix things up from time to time. I like being outside whether riding the bike, doing a run or spending time in the woods. I bought a place a few months back so while I have IDD (interior decorating disorder!) I like swinging a hammer and pulling out the shovels to work around the house. Chicago has a ton to offer and it's fun to try new places for a bite, beer or show. I like to think of myself as approachable and relatable and I like to learn new things. The truth is that after a meeting or two, people generally get to know me fairly well. I look forward for the chance to share the good with someone special.

    I love learning about our faith and reading other Christians ideas on God some of my favorite authors are Peter Kreeft, Scott Hahn and maybe my all time favorite is C.S. Lewis, especially his book Mere Christianity. One thing I look forward to in the morning is getting that first cup of coffee and sitting down to read the daily readings and reflections from the Laudate which helps me to have a more positive attitude throughout the day.

    I am passionate about my kids and my faith. I was a stay at home dad for four years and was blessed with the most wonderful kids. My life has changed so I now work full time but spend quality time with my kids. I love coaching for GOTR, a wonderful organization to empower young girls. I occasionally run but have slacked off a bit. I love a great conversation and a long walk. I am blessed with friends who love and care for me as I do the same.

    I am honest, genuine and very down to earth. I always enjoy a good laugh and love to make others laugh. I work during the day in Chicago at my job of 12 years doing MRI Research. My available weekends are always open for discovering new things, enjoying old ones, or simply putting on the brakes to recharge. Playing and listening to music has always been a great passion of mine. I love playing live on the weekends every now and then and enjoy going to a good concert. I enjoy sports (Go Steelers!), being outdoors, hiking, photographing sunrise/sunsets (amateur at best), staring at the night sky (especially the Perseids meteor shower every August), etc. I also like to cook....more Guy Fieri / Bobby Flay than Betty Crocker...lol, preferably on the grill and enjoy a good craft beer or glass of wine. I try to live a well rounded life and am always open to new experiences. Definitely would like to do some more traveling. My passport is just waiting to be stamped! Life is too short....this is not a dress rehearsal, it's the real show!

    Ask me and I'll discuss with ya ;-). I'm an open man, no time for games. I'm a very non judgemental person as there's only one who can judge :-). My kids are my everything. I'm a devoted family man, devoted dad. Love seeing my kids choose their path and ride the wave of life. Honest, loyal, caring-considerate, FT employment, non gambler, analytical thinker, all in when wanting to do something. Life is too short-I don't get hung up on being offended by what society tells us we should be offended by. Lighten up a little & smile, it's much more fun and prettier ;-). I don't have time for drama in my life. Don't look for it and you won't have it. Looking for someone who is honest, I can trust with who I am, appreciative, caring, loving, who sees things from a loving caring perspective 1st rather than feeling a need to be negative. Someone who will stand by me no matter what (The Pretenders - I'll stand by you). I believe in positivity, spirituality, and my faith in God. Looking to start yoga/hot yoga. Always seeking to better understand others point of views (okay to disagree). Enjoy indepth conversations. I Have a polish background and so wish I could understand the language (mom is fluent). New to online dating and looking forward to seeing how this path turns out.
