I want to thank you for looking at my profile. I am a cradle Catholic who is the youngest of six children. I have three brothers and two sisters. Both parents are deceased. I have a son who is 22 and a daughter who is 19. I went to Catholic grade school and high school. I have a Bachelors degree from Indiana University in Business Administration. I married in my early thirties with the marriage lasting fifteen years. I appealed and was granted an annulment from the Catholic Church about three years later. My field of work is in Transportation and Logistics. I am very active in my parish being a cantor, choir member, Eucharistic Minister, Collection counter, and have a weekly Adoration hour. For fun I like to go to the state fair, car shows, trade shows, hardware stores, symphonic concerts, and live theatre. I also like to listen and dance to big band music, go to blugrass music festivals, and go to a polka fest and dance till I drop. My best characteristic is that I am flexible. I can put on work clothes and do hard physical labor or put on a tux and go to the symphony with a cocktail party afterward. I do not go to amusement parks and have no desire to sky dive or other extreme sports. Some of my goals are to learn how to cook very well, buy some acreage and have a small organic hobby farm, and pursue other hobbies and interests that time and money have prevented me from doing in the past. I am a city boy with a country heart. You can usually find me each year at the state fair in the horse barns being around the draft horses - Belgians and Percherons - beautiful gentle giants. I feel that I am a good risk for an eligible Catholic woman. I am faithful, kind, generous, hard-working, patient, and honest to a fault. I have zero tolerance for rudeness, arrogance, abuse of any kind, and lying. I am not athletic, but I keep fit by walking as much as possible, I currently do not have any pets but am open to having dogs and/or cats. My favorites are labs, setters, or shepherds. I have no desire to have exotic pets like snakes, tarantulas, etc. My biggest passion in life is music. I took piano lessons in grade school, played baritone sax in High School, and am currently taking bluegrass banjo lessons. I plan on learning how to play violin, mandolin, string bass, dobro, guitar, and return to piano.

**I am currently traveling abroad, broadening my life (and search) worldwide. Open to initial correspondence or Skype-based connections. Therefore- if you get a message from me, it is not necessarily that I did not see your location preferences. Rather, I am seeing if you are open to getting to know each other. Friends First- so feel free to drop me a chat.** 2017 Travels: -IN, USA (Jan.) -Krakow, PL (Feb.-April) -Sibiu, RO (May/June) -Bucharest, RO (June/July) -Lisbon/Fatima (July) And more to come... I have tried many dating sites. However, at the end of the day, my matches are usually incompatible with either my faith, political perspectives, or my intellectual curiosity. (I never realized how difficult it could be to create robust conversation with some people!) Simply put, I am a man who is still looking. I have dated both Catholics and non-Catholics, and been a witness to many relationships around me (good and bad). The more I have seen, the more important I think having that faith foundation becomes. I am aiming for a partner who will support me in my many interests, challenge me, and help me to continue working towards my best self. In return, I want to reciprocate; to help her grow, hopefully raise a little clan, and do what it takes to build an amazing life & relationship together. In the meantime, I am continuing to walk my path, growing and improving myself. Bonus Content: I enjoy the outdoors, but I am not a registered mountain man. My beard skills do improve year after year. I am interested lots of things including family and genealogy, history (in general), baking, food, some geeky stuff, 80s music, politics, technology, travel, philosophy, theology, and entrepreneurship. Sports are generally lower on my list but I am a ND football fan. I am a registered introvert and a part-time evangelist for introvert understanding. And yes, there is a difference between being shy vs. being introverted :) One of my ex's once commented that she thought I was both a literal and figurative gentleman (a gentle man), and I hope that is still true. I have always been a practicing Catholic, and I am thankful for that. But I also am honest about the fact that while I recognize all of Church's teachings and authority (7/7), I have had failings. After all, knowing the path and walking the path are two different things. Was that Morpheus or St. Augustine?

Hello, I am looking for a friend to share special times to keep life interesting and fulfilling. I work full time and strive to keep life simple. My likes would include most all college and pro sport events, especially football, auto racing, music and keeping fit. I like to laugh, listen to a good band and drink a tasty craft beer. I would describe my character as an average gentleman, a little bit shy, and a little quiet. A good listener. I had a wonderful marriage of 29 yrs. To find out whats special about me, get to know me.

Personality-wise, I lean toward the quieter end of the spectrum, but also get a charge by being with others, and tend to end up in leadership positions. I sometimes crave and need alone time, but I know it's life's relationships that really matter. In fact, the older and (hopefully) wiser I get, the more I think relationships may be the only thing that matters. My life goals, to the extent that I can actually reduce them to writing, don't involve career or station. The biggie is to continually strive to know, love and serve God. I also like bacon. Very much.

One thing that I kid myself about is that I say I'm a "writer." I say that I kid myself about that because when it comes to writing a profile about myself to put on a Catholic date-site, I'm almost at a lost about what to say. Of course, I'd love to say "I'm a writer" without any irony, but then again, I'd have to actually publish something big, wouldn't I?I feel like I'm not off to a great start, let's try again, shall we? I'm 23 years old, graduated from Wabash College with an English/Education degree. I swam for my school for all 4 years, lettered, and wasn't half-bad either. I'm a high school teacher and a swim coach in Indianapolis. I love teaching and enjoy being at the small, strongly Catholic school I am currently working at.

I'm a Product Designer at a small company in Indy and I absolutely love my job. I strive to be hardworking, honest, and passionate about achieving my life goals. When I'm not at work I like camping, hiking, playing my ukulele, working on art projects, and photography. I was born and raised Catholic and wouldn't have it any other way. I love going to church every Sunday.

As God desires, a man's job is to protect, defend, and serve. I take my cues from this. My goal is to marry my best friend. To protect her physically as well as protect her spiritually through sacrifice and prayer. I love movies and music. I give back to the community by coaching youth football and volunteering for church activities regularly. I work very hard and like and appreciate my job. I'm a very good listener. And understand one of my most important duties as the head of the home is to serve my beloved. Appreciate her in all she does. As well as try my best to be the man God is calling me to be. If you can appreciate these things I value, please let's take it slow. Speak over the Internet, then maybe meet for lunch or coffee. Let's allow our friendship to lead the way?

Hello! I am a Hoosier Catholic working in Indianapolis at Riley Hospital, and I am looking for someone who shares my faith and is fun! Maybe that person is you! I enjoy simple things like fires outside, biking across town, petting my cat, fix it up projects, game nights, and get togethers for any reason (or no reason at all!). Music is a hobby, and my family live in town, so we have a lot of parties and excuses to have fun. I attend St. Anthony, St. John, St. Mark, or Nativity parish depending where I am at on any given Saturday or Sunday. If you have a favorite parish, I wouldn't mind meeting you there either! I am most passionate about taking care of kids and educating families about how best to keep their children healthy. I am in a combined pediatrics and child neurology program which is a 5 year residency (and I am proudly 1.5 years done!). I still have a ways to go, but I am blessed to be able to serve in this way. I especially enjoy the preventative aspects of my job, which involves exploring morality with children and how it relates to their health at a young age, supporting lifestyle decisions for maintaining good health in well children, and palliating chronic disease to allow children to live as closely to normalcy as possible if they are given an additional cross to bear. Anyway, I guess I shouldn't drone on for too long, but, if you'd like to know more, I am happy to oblige. After all, I would like to find out more about you too and see if we're compatible enough to explore the possibility of a committed vocation together. Have a fantastic day!
