Hi. Let me begin by stating the obvious since you're on this web site. My Catholic faith means a lot to me and is a very meaningful part of my life. I would someday like to meet someone with similar feelings. I got married at the age of 36 and do not have any children of my own, but have been a stepfather or "dad" to my former wife's son throughout his childhood and teenage years. My family, friends and various colleagues have all been influential in my life at one time or in one way or another. Family get togethers at different times of the year are particularly enjoyable. I like taking pleasure rides on my motorcycle and love playing golf. I have a good work ethic, am a practicing catholic, good natured and very easy going. Born and raised in Lake Co. IN, I relocated to Porter Co. IN and love my proximity to the southern shore of Lake Michigan and neighboring states.

Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Bob and I live in Valparaiso, Indiana. I am retired from the FBI and moved back to my hometown after a 24 year career. I am a licensed attorney in Indiana and do a small amount of attorney work. Recently, I have started visiting close family in the countryside outside of Versailles, Kentucky. Usually, we go out for dinner once or twice, so I am also looking for a nice lady who would like to join us for dinner. Also, if you are a little more adventurous, we also do some campfires down there,. I also like to shoot my old fashioned bows (I don't hunt) down there. We also do a little bit of caving down there, but it is very dangerous. We could also maybe visit a distillery or winery, although I am not a big drinker. I think I will be down in Kentucky about 12/1/15, or thereabouts. Right now, I am spending some time learning oil painting. I don't know what my future plans will be. I am financially stable. I own my own house. I used to enjoy walking my dog in the evening. He weighed125 pounds and his name wasSnowy. He has gone on to dog heaven, and I miss going for dog walks. I have to admit that I have a bad smoking habit. I am a lifelong Catholic and as time goes on it has become more and more important to me. I usually attend the Bible Study classes when our church has them and find them to be mostly very interesting. I like to go out to dinner, movies now and then, and go to Chicago. I don't go to bars much because I don't need an expensive DWI ticket. If I had to pick something to drink, I guess a glass of German wine and some German food would be good. (Anybody know a good German restaraunt?) Anybody who reads I wish you the very best. (And that at least now and then, I hope we all get that very special Peace of Christ in our lives). (And I took the profile photo myself with my telephone. I hope I look a little bit better than that, but probably look worse.

Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. First and foremost, I am a dedicated Christian and seek the same in a mate. God, family, and friends are at the center of my life. I am seeking a marriage-minded, biblical relationship. Belief in and obedience to Jesus Christ is the single most important thing to me, and I am seeking a woman who believes the same. I was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana, attended college in Indiana, and attended law school in Chicago. I am now back living in Indiana. I am generally more quiet and reserved, but I certainly love to laugh and be around people! I do not pretend to be very modern or "hip," as I am proudly a conservative Christian who believes in traditional family values and the primacy of the Bible. I also believe that chivalry is not (or should not be) dead! I believe that women should always be treated with kindness, gentleness, courtesy, and respect. If you would be offended by my holding the door open for you or paying for a meal, then I am afraid I am not the guy for you. :) Although we all fall short of the glory of God, I always try to be polite, courteous, kind, respectful, and compassionate. I would say that I am gentle in spirit, but I stand firm on my convictions and faith. Although I am generally more reserved and serious, I have a good sense of humor, and I love to laugh! I love helping others. I feel incomplete or insufficient if I am not making a positive difference in others' lives. I think small acts of kindness, such as smiling to a stranger or opening the door for someone, are powerful and significant -- they are little, daily manifestations of Christ's love for us, which we are commanded to always show to others. I also love kids and am the proud and doting uncle of my sweet, little six-year-old niece and three-year-old nephew! I also worked as a camp counselor for 1st through 8th graders one summer in college, and I was a "Big Brother" / Mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Chicago. I am an attorney in Northwest Indiana. I feel very blessed to have a job, and I enjoy my work! I love the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping! In sum, God and family are the most important things in my life. My faith and attending church are of the utmost significance to me, and I try to live a genuine Christian life. I hope to one day have a Christ-centered marriage. I am Greek Orthodox, by the way. Thank you for reading my profile! God bless.

Hi gals, here's a bit about myself in a nutshell: I basically strive for simplicity in my life. Keep it simple as they say. When I say this, I mean my material, earthly life. By keeping my material, earthly life simple, I have less stress and am better able to focus on God's work and his plan that he has for me. And hey, who wouldn't want less stress in our modern fast paced world, right? Family and friends have influenced me the most and are important to me. I maintain a close circle of friends and am always looking to make that circle larger. For those off hours from an enjoyable job I'm blessed to have, I'll take in a movie, go for a walk in the park, work out, attend as well as have barbeques with friends and take one of my classic cars (I have two) to the local car shows. You'll also catch me doing an occasional home re-do project around the house from time to time. The weekly "clubbing/party scene" is not for me, but I will go out for a drink with friends during holidays or special occasions. I'm always willing to try new activities (short of jumping out of planes and bungee jumping - not a daredevil) and visit places in the continental U.S. I haven't been to yet. Future world travel is a possibility. I'm looking for that special friendship first that's the foundation of any happy marriage. Anything else you wish to know, don't hesitate to ask! Good luck in your quest for that life partner. God bless!

Hey, I'm Dan! I'm a student at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana and hail from Valparaiso, Indiana. I'm studying Biology on the Pre-Dentistry track and am interested in becoming a dentist. My interests are primarily in music. I have been singing and playing piano since I was seven years old. I'm also a huge outdoorsman. Whenever I vacation with my family, we always love going somewhere with plenty of outdoor activities to do, such as hiking, fishing, swimming, and other outdoor activities. I am also very involved in my faith. I am a choir member and cantor at my home parish in Valparaiso. While at school, I participate in the Newman Center. I attend mass weekly and will occasionally go to daily mass. I have a passion for serving others and really want to take a mission trip over the summer some time in the future. My big Lebanese family is a huge influence in my life. We are passionate about our heritage and love us some Lebanese food, dancing, and culture. I grew up with both my mother and father and two younger brothers. We were all raised in the faith and have made it our top priority in our family. I hope to find someone just as passionate about it as we are!

I have lived a somewhat of a nomadic life, moving from one place to another every several years, and now I find myself in Valparaiso, Indiana (lovely place!). The gracious Lord has guided me in my life's "tour" through the USA and has alway blessed me with abdundant graces and mercy. For many years, my demanding career have kept me very busy and before I knew it a decade had flown by me! I have been hoping to meet that "special someone" and have been praying to God about this when I came across a ad on a bulletin from a church I recently visited. So, I thought I give this a try! I am a pretty easy going guy--I think age has mellowed me out and given me some maturity and patience that I sorely lacked as a youth. Although I have much to learn about humility, I believe in treating all people with respect and kindness. I love nature and enjoy anything that has to do with outdoors, except hunting and fishing--you should see the beautiful beaches near Valparaiso!!. I like trying out and leanrning new things and visiting new places. Been to France, Peru, Korea (I was born there) and hope to visit more countries in the future. On free time, I like to exercise (go to the gym, jog, bike ect) or just relax sight seeing, watch movie. I still like playing video games, although I usually don't have time to play them :(. Although I do not have any of my own, I love children and dogs and hope to have both in the future, if God be willing.

My favorite sayings are "truth is unpopular"; "the moment you think you've gained humility, you've lost it"; "cada cabeza es un mundo" (every mind is another world); "If you can't see any light at the end of the tunnel, it's because you're on a tight curve." (That's an original). "If there were no God there would be no atheists"- G K Chesterton. I'm a freelance writer. Have lived in Mexico City, Ft. Collins, San Francisco, Phoenix, Pensacola. Born and raised in Tucson, the same birthplace of Linda Ronstadt and Barbara Eden. You know you're getting old when your barber doesn't know who John Belushi was, and when you're shopping for a transistor radio and the clerk doesn't know what you're talking about. It's true that most of the things we worry about never come to pass, yet my experience is that the worst things that have happened, were by surprise and that which I never worried about. I believe that most of us don't appreciate what we have unless we've been in a worse situation and that the longer I live the more I realize that everything happens for a reason. Other than for reasons of intellectual snobbery, I've never understood why 100 per cent of the time people will say "the book was better than the movie" but never the other way around. Or why whenever someone claims to be part Native American it's always "Cherokee", as though there are no other Indian tribes that intermarried with the white man. Hobbies: playing chess, photography, genealogy, cooking, tinkering with watches. I'm a cat person. Every other day you discover some amusing quality in their mysterious personality. I find nothing more difficult than being a practicing Catholic, and yet nothing more important nor rewarding. I'm blessed to have been raised in the one, true faith although I apostatized in my youth but eventually crawled back thanks to my mother's rosary. I wear a crucifix that was given to her by one of three Carmelite martyrs she knew who gave up their lives for the faith during the Spanish Civil War or as we Franquistas call it La Cruzada. Viva Cristo Rey!

This is a lot harder to do than it sounds. I live in Valpo and have not been in a relationship for 10 years. I guess its finally time to get out and about. I am looking for a nice looking lady who doesn't mind sitting in front of the TV sometimes. I usually attend church weekly. I also work part time, but that may end sooner than later, Maybe we can get together someday and have a good time.
