57, Grimes, IAThru no choice of my own, I 'm now living in a single person's life. I have a demanding job that keeps me busy, but I really miss not being able to spend my free time with someone close. More than anything else, I miss having adult conversations with a person I can feel close to on a daily basis.I enjoy working around the house, seeing shows at the Civic Center, enjoying nature and just spending time with good company. I am really not into the bar scene, so I wouldn't be much fun to someone that enjoys late nights out. I always look forward to relaxing on the deck after a long day at work. I try to take time off and travel, but it doesn't seem the same without a partner to spend the time with. I joined Farrell's Fitness last year and it ended up being one of the better life style moves that I have ever made. Straying fit has become an important part of my life.

73, Pocahontas, IAI'm a thinker and a planner but hope I don't come off as such a serious person that I appear as someone who isn't much fun. 38, Davenport, IAA few months ago I got to Mass early and sat in the middle of a pew. As people started coming in I noticed that a family sat in front of me, then a family on one side, then the other side and a large family sat behind me. I smiled watching the moms and dads moving seats and picking up a kid and putting them down to pick up another. For the first time in my life I thought "Where is my family? I should be here at Mass with my wife and children." Why did the Lord choose to put this in my heart now at the age of 38? Since that morning I have been praying for guidance and clarification. Looking back at my life and my relationships I realized that it's only because of my own selfishness and awful decisions that lead to me being single. God, in his mercy, wanted to put this feeling in my heart. I have never seriously thought about marriage until recently. Speaking with both my Grandmothers about this they said "You still have time." With that word of encouragement and the constant reminder of the Catholic Match commercials on Relevant Radio, I have decided to be proactive about it.
