I am a person who takes life as it comes. I don't think there is any point worying about any situation because more than lightly you can't change it. I also believe that god provides a way in each path and all we have to do is trust in him to guide us on the right path.

Imaginative, intelligent, well-educated, kind and very loyal to friends and family, I try to live a balanced life and have many interests ranging from sports to things of the spirit; bit of a book worm and read anything in sight, but athletic also and keep fit. I'd love to meet someone energetic and outgoing to explore the wonders of creation.

Born and brought up in the UK, I currently live in Ireland. I am a tax lawyer for my sins. In the last year I have come to appreciate the beauty of the traditional Latin Mass. In my spare time, I keep fit and enjoy all sports but especially golf. I am interested in current affairs. While I love the UK and Ireland, I also travel abroad when the opportunity arises.

I would describe myself as outgoing, joyful, very loyal, sincere, friendly and committed to my family and friendship relationships. I like spending time with my family and friends, socialising or entertaining in my home. My faith is very important to me and I spend time daily in quiet prayer. I like to maintain contact with my friends, meeting them and having a laugh. A number of men older than me including my Dad have influenced me greatly in my life. I enjoy running, swimming and playing some tennis when I get the time.

This part of a profile is a bit of a drag for me because I feel as if I'm writing a CV (resume) and I'm saying I'm good at time management and I keep a tidy desk (not really on both btw). I do like to think that I'm a person who's hard to shock and easy to surprise.

I'm passionate about a great lot of things, the Faith is the most important I believe. There is a great interest in politics and history, I'm not at all afraid to say; I would identify as a conservative in all manners. My immediate family inspire me to live the Roman Catholic lifestyle, one that I'm trying to cultivate, albeit maybe a bit more austere than they probably intended! I'm inspired by all the Saints, although my favourite among them is a Saint in the Eastern Rite but not celebrated liturgically in the Roman Rite; that man, is Emperor Constantine the Great. But above all, the one Man who inspires me, is the Jesus Christ. With Him and through the ministry of the Church whom he founded on the Apostle Peter, I hope to live a life worthy of the Holy Roman Church and God. ;) In terms of leisure time, I typically spend it reading or going outside if the weather is good. Books about history are of particular, although if there is a good book about Catholic theology, I will give that a read!

My passions seem to stem from 6 core interests: cultural heritage; art/design; archaeology; the outdoors; cinema; music. As such, when possible, I'm out rambling through fields and forests to find nearly forgotten old churches and ancient standing stones. Combine this with a good hike and a group of friends, all followed by a tasty lunch and a small gig/cinema outing later in the evening... and you've the makings of a great day out. Much of my non-outdoors down time is spent drawing/painting, doing small graphic design projects, playing guitar, reading, attacking boxsets of obscure, Nordic crime dramas and... doing laundry.
