Hi, my name is Martin, I was brought up in the normal Irish Catholic tradition and very proud of being both Irish and a Catholic. I love the country and mountains, and look forward to peaceful rural walks. I work full time which takes up most of my week so I enjoy what time I get off.

Love a good sense of humour, I love to laugh. I like to fit in my little prayer-list each day, I know if you want to be holy you must pray, without prayer all those virtues can disappear. My relatives have had the most influence on my life. Such as my grandparents.

Hello) Just better start off by saying that the gift of Faith is the most important thing in the world to me. I try to revolve my life around Jesus Christ and His Holy Church. If that puts you off I'm really sorry, but it's better off you know that now rather than later. The love I would have for any woman would come from Him; the Source. I joined this site to make a better effort to the vocation of marriage, which after a time discerning priesthood in seminary is what I believe God is calling me to. It is so difficult to actually come across a woman who knows and loves Jesus today though so that is why I came on here.

    34, Dublin, IE
Hi, my name is Ciaran and I am originally from Laois but have been living in Dublin since I started college. My family means a lot to me and having a good few siblings means that there's always plenty going on. I also place a high value on friendships and I think I have some of the best friends in the world. In my free time, I like running and taking part in other sporting activities. I have played tag rugby for several years, I go skiing every winter and enjoy more random things like ziplining. I joined a running club this year and find that it's much more fun running with others than on your own. It also pushes you that little bit more. I have always liked to travel and learn foreign languages. I have been in most parts of the world like South America, the Galapagos Islands, Alaska, Canada, Russia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. My German is intermediate standard and I also speak Spanish to C1 level (although I don't get to practice much in Ireland!). I work as a hospital pharmacist, spending almost all of my time working with patients in hospital wards.

    23, Ballincollig, IE
My name is Fearghal and I am from Ballincollig, Co. Cork in Ireland. I was born in 1994. I am currently a student doing an arts degree. I was brought up Catholic and I continue to practice my Catholic faith by attending mass and praying. I am a minister of the word at mass. I go to the Youth 2000 Catholic group every week. I help out at pro life events. I love walking and cycling and visiting towns, churches, abbeys and buildings of interest. I tend to get on better with people who are into practicing the Catholic faith. I love watching sport and going to matches. Priests and people of faith have been the most influential people in my life. I look forward to when I will meet a Catholic girl who will love me and that I will love.

I am an American of Irish descent, and I thought I would give the land of my father and mother a look. I am a contractor and Army officer, and I have spent the better part of the last two years over in Afghanistan; I will probably spend at least 2 more years so I can be financially set for years in the future while I focus on shifting my education towards a more enjoyable and profitable field. I enjoy all of the stereotypical things Americans love, God, Guns, and a good beer. Unfortunately I have yet to have been in a legitimate Irish pub, but hopefully come leave I'll be able to fix that. Spent a month in Ireland when I was a wee lad, 11 years old, so I wasn't exactly in a position to enjoy all of the wonders that Ireland had to offer; the lasses or the pubs. That and I really wasn't in a position to enjoy the countryside either. ;) Ha ha

My family means the world to me so creating my own is essential to how I see my future progressing. Meeting someone with the same value system is important for that journey I believe. I enjoy travelling, music, reading and film in my spare time and these are interests which should be shared for the chance of a good pairing I believe. Finding someone unique but similar, who can have a laugh but also realise the importance of the serious issues in the world, is paramount in finding the (almost) perfect match!
